  The day was perfect

  We got married 3 weeks ago, in early September. The day was perfect, everything ran smoothly and the team could not have done enough for us.
  We fell in love with the Marriott Manchester Victoria and Albert hotel when we used to have our work parties there. After visiting the hotel as a potential wedding venue, we were hooked and could not wait to get married there.
  The build up to the day was quite stressful. During our build up to the wedding, the hotel had three different event planners, two of which were not very competent. This resulted in us being over charged and led to various miscommunications left, right and centre. Kate then joined the business and had the task of amending what had happened and to try to re-build our confidence.
  Kate did just that, Kate fixed everything. Through blood, sweat and tears we got to the bottom of the extra charges and miscommunications and finally got everything back on track.
  Kate, Mel and Phoebe all went above and beyond to make our day special and perfect. The room was beautifully decorated, the food was incredible and the service was professional.
  Everyone has commented on how perfect our day was and it was, it was genuinely the happiest day of our lives.
  Thank you to Kate, Mel, Phoebe and the entire team for making our wedding day perfect.

  It was completely fantastic!

  We had our wedding reception here on the 1st of August 2019. It was completely fantastic! Kate the wedding co-ordinator went above and beyond to ensure our day went off without a hitch and we can't thank her enough. Other notable mentions are Melissa, Chris and Babychem who were also brilliant. All my guests commented that the food was excellent and the serving staff were friendly and helpful during our meal/buffet. Thank you V&A!

  I cant rate this place enough

  Well it's been 3 months since I got married and I must say what a great day it was and it was all thanks to this amazing hotel and their team. Kate Pearson (wedding coordinator) was AMAZING, she was with us every step of the way from the organizing to the actual day. She made sure everything went to plan and did the worrying for us so we could just enjoy the day, and we certainly did that. I can't rate this place enough, the grounds for the pictures were fantastic. The hotel staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming, everyone had a great day and felt at ease. Thanks again V&A and especially to Kate and her sidekick Mel. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Mr and Mrs Hughes xx

  A fantastic venue for an event.
  Their event organiser Kate Pearson went above and beyond to ensure our wedding met every possible expectation, she was with us every step of the way and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable.
  With her keen creative eye, she ensured our day went better than we could have possibly imagined.
  All of their staff were brilliant too, special mentions to Babychen and Luna.

  Our wedding was absolutely amazing.

  Our wedding was absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic and very memorable day. We felt very well looked after by Kate both on the day and during preparations as well as by her colleagues on the day. Everyone was incredibly helpful and did their utmost to make our day special. The setting up ran very smoothly and the decorations and the entertainment were amazing. We especially appreciated that everything happened behind the scenes and we didn’t have to get involved in anything. The food was also incredible. All those with special dietary requirements (vegetarians, vegans, gluten free) said they felt very well looked after.

  Perfect City Centre Location!

  Beautiful city location, but to top it off the hotel has amazing original features like steel pillars and all wood ceilings which makes it have a country house feel to it. Staff were amazing and the whole day was perfect!

  Fantastic Day

  Venue in a great location. Affordable price for the whole wedding. Really well organised and had nice outside space which is a rare find in Manchester city centre.

  Everything we wanted and more!

  The whole day was absolutely perfect, from start to finish we couldn't have asked for a better day! The food was fab and all our guests had an amazing time! A perfect city centre location.

  everything we had wished for!

  It was a perfect day and everything ran so smoothly. our guests loved staying at the hotel and the fact it was on the river but also in the city centre. everything was exactly how we pictured our special day!

  Perfect Rustic City Centre Location

  What a hidden gem! The hotel has amazing rustic and vintage features like the beautiful wooden beam ceilings, which gave it a country house feel but in a city centre location! Would definitely recommend!
