Most amazing venue and staff!
When we began looking for a venue to get married in a friend of the family recommended the Mercure to us as they got married here a few years ago and all we can say is what an amazing experience we had from the planning to the big day!
I first emailed at around 4:30pm and they replied about 2/3 minutes later with a congratulations and a brochure with their packages and prices. We requested a meeting to view the venue and to speak with them about prices and the packages they offered. They walked through the ceremony room and then the reception rooms which would be more suited to our numbers and then gave us a quick...When we began looking for a venue to get married in a friend of the family recommended the Mercure to us as they got married here a few years ago and all we can say is what an amazing experience we had from the planning to the big day!

They walked through the ceremony room and then the reception rooms which would be more suited to our numbers and then gave us a quick quote for what we needed and was fairly reasonably priced.
They continuously kept in contact with us and were always happy to help answer any questions we had no matter how daft or small and were always friendly.
On the day of our wedding they were amazing, very attentive and helpful, staff were great and the food was even better. They helped our day run as smoothly as possible and I couldn’t be more grateful for that! The gardens where lovely and the drink caravan was a big hit with all guests after the ceremony.
We cannot recommend here enough. The team really are exceptional!-

Amazing wedding, bad after service
We did have the most amazing wedding but sadly we have to say that all pailed into significance after we married!
We were told our cake would be brought out for our family to take home as we were going straight to Manchester for our honeymoon.
On the way to Manchester we received a call from Geoff to say we had left our international plug. Nothing was mentioned re the cake, so we assumed family had taken it as the hotel informed us it would be brought out.
Flash forward to coming home and we enquired to who had the cake - no one?! Strange, it was supposed to have been brought out.
We email...We did have the most amazing wedding but sadly we have to say that all pailed into significance after we married!
We were told our cake would be brought out for our family to take home as we were going straight to Manchester for our honeymoon.
On the way to Manchester we received a call from Geoff to say we had left our international plug. Nothing was mentioned re the cake, so we assumed family had taken it as the hotel informed us it would be brought out.
Flash forward to coming home and we enquired to who had the cake - no one?! Strange, it was supposed to have been brought out.
We email the hotel to bd told it had been in THEIR FRIDGE for ten days so binned it! We had received no phone call, nothing from them to say it had been left. They stated in their email they SHOULD have telephone but sorry, their mistake, and staff were spoken to! When we made it clear we were not happy with this, it was then turned on us, saying it was all OUR fault!! My husband never even tasted our cake, it wasn’t cheap and as you can imagine very hurtful to be blamed! The third email even came from a junior member of staff who had just joined the team as Victoria couldn’t be bothered to answer our email!
Nothing has been done apart from insulting us, Acor their head office will do nothing and say it’s up to the hotel to sort this out!
To all other brides and grooms, please make sure you have your wedding cake designated to a person to collect or you will lose it in their bin!
Oh, and just to add a further note, the bridal suite had a leak the night before the wedding, I asked a member of staff to sort it, sadly it never was!

Unparalleled day! Ethereal bride!
I attended my daughters wedding and had the most beautiful day! She is so happy! It was blissful all the through the hotel, the effort that every member of staff went to was so generous. The details were meticulously carried out to the finest point which meant a very stressed and anxious family could really relax and enjoy the day. The team and wedding coordinator is a real credit to the hotel. We'll be back for the anniversary do!I attended my daughters wedding and had the most beautiful day! She is so happy! Disappointing experience
I regret to say that our experience with mercure, willerby was disappointing and far from what we had hoped for on such an important day. There was a lack of communication, professionalism, poor organisation and poor quality service. For the cost we paid and the trust we placed in mercure, we expected much more. We would not recommend mercure to others based on our experience. This has been raised with mercure and we hope to receive communication from them in the near future.

Best day of our lives!
From the very first minute of booking this venue, they have gone above and beyond for us to make our day special. This includes squeezing in a last minute guest on the morning of the wedding! Flexible, professional, organised, and great value for money. The most perfect day
From the moment we visited the Mercure, we knew it was our venue. Emma and Olivia were so knowledgeable and were able to give more details than other venues had. For example, we asked about the DJ in one venue and they just answered 'yes, one is included' Emma was able to tell us the name of the company and how the process worked straight away. Every email I sent with questions was answered very quickly, which made a stressed out bride feel very calm.
On the day, everything ran smoothly. Maurizio told us both, separately, what was going to happen on the day and kept me calm when I started getting nervous. There was another wedding on at the same time but they still made it feel like ours was the only one happening.

Our wedding day
We booked our wedding back in july 2021...
After three years of planning. Our day soon arrived. We got Married on Saturday 22nd June 2024. We couldn't of asked for a better wedding. The staff from the moment myself and the bridal party arrived on Friday night all the way up till leaving on Sunday morning. Nothing went wrong. The team that was setting the room up in the morning of the wedding was lovely, and very helpful. Everyone said how best the venue was, how gorgeous the garter was. We even had 21°c. Wedding best day ever
We got married here on 16th May 2024 and it was perfection from the meetings with Olivia nothing was too much trouble me and my husband was very pleased with it all. Our wedding was just perfect from the suite i stayed in before to the ceremony and suite after.
Well organised nothing was too much trouble.Food was excellent.Goat curry,jerk chicken and dirty rice was gorgeous,went down very well with our Jamanican side of the family. What a beautiful day!
We had our wedding at the Mercure Grange Park Willerby and we had such a fantastic day. The team were accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. Special mention to Finley who was amazing throughout, he always came to check to make sure our day was as perfect as possible.
