From the moment we set eyes on Merrydale we fell in love with how beautiful the venue is, with its beautiful long driveway leading to the Manor House and the elegant horse statue, the lake with the jetty and fountain, and seperate ceremony room with a backdrop to die for! The windows in the ceremony room let all the natural light through to make the most beautiful light for your photos 😍 the Manor House itself is just spectacular in every single room with everything you would need if you choose to stay, and clean….!!! Wow there isn’t a spec of dust or dirt in the whole place!! The bridal prep area again is just stunning and all that light!! There’s also a great area for the guys to get ready and relax, play games and enjoy themselves pre wedding.
Our Wedding was the best day of our lives and I can honestly say most of this is down to Merrydale!
Not just the venue itself but for the service you get, it’s absolutely the best you could get anywhere in the world! From the very beginning Robyn showed us around and she was like talking to your maid of honour, she had my back, she knew my vision and I felt like she would make it happen, she went above and beyond to offer us our dream wedding! Throughout our lead up we dealt with most of the staff there including the owner and I have to say everyone is the same, just incredible, every last one of the team from the owner to the cleaners, just brilliant people who make you feel so special, On our Wedding Sam was assigned to be our wedding coordinator and from the moment we arrived the night before she was again fantastic, she knows weddings inside out and we felt instantly more relaxed, she dealt with everything from hanging my dress to unpacking our food and drinks, helping with our favours, sorting the suits, timing the music perfectly, sorting my dress so it was perfect for down the isle, even putting Alistair’s glasses next to his speech!… literally everything!
I can honestly say everything (apart from weather, but that really didn’t matter at all) was absolutely PERFECT, seamless, the day was like a dream! Better than we ever could have imagined… we are just sad we can’t do it again :(
Anyone looking at Merrydale don’t hesitate, you will not find a better venue with better people, I’d give Merrydale 100 stars if I could! Thank you to all the Team ❤️Merrydale Manor's reply:

The best venue around!
Everything at Merrydale was seamless from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with during the lead up to our wedding and on the day could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The staff service is second to none. The layout of the venue is absolutely perfect with minimal moving around for guests throughout the day as well as being absolutely stunning.

Our fairytale wedding ✨
There really are no words to describe just how perfect our wedding day was. I had always dreamt of a fairytale wedding and Merrydale Manor really was the perfect venue to give us that and more!
From the moment we stepped foot in the venue on our viewing, right up until the very end of our wedding day, the team were absolutely incredible. Nothing was too big of an ask and they really did take away some of the stresses of planning a wedding.
After our wedding last year, and even to this day, we’ve had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the grounds and the staff at Merrydale. Everyone was made to feel so welcome from the minute they arrived and it really couldn’t have been any more of a perfect day!
Merrydale Manor really is a venue of dreams! I wish we could relive our day everyday… -

We got married at Merrydale Manor in July 2023 and there are so many positive things I have to say about this venue and the team that work there. The venue itself is simply stunning - the grounds, the ceremony room, the reception room, the bedrooms, are all immaculate and it's the perfect mix of modern, stylish and elegant. For us, we knew we wouldn't find a more perfect venue for our wedding day and did not hesitate in booking our date. From open evening to when we were leaving the morning after, everything was flawless. The team were friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating, as you might expect, but what stood out for us was that even though they host weddings for countless couples, they still made us feel special - they're true professionals! The day flew by but it was an absolute dream and I'm so thankful to everyone at Merrydale for making our special day everything we'd hoped and dreamed of!Merrydale Manor's reply:

Exceptional from start to finish
Words really cannot describe how amazing Merrydale and the whole team are! The service was the highest standard from the moment we went to the open day, just over a year ago, to the moment we left this morning following our wedding yesterday. All of your possible needs are catered for and every detail attended. Even when you don’t know something is required the Merrydale team do and it’s already in hand. It really is a seamless operation which made our day more magical than we ever could have hoped for. We honestly cannot thank the team enough, we would (and have) recommended them without any doubt! The food, accommodation, staff, contact throughout and suppliers really are 5 star ⭐️ Our day was amazing and we really do attribute a huge part of that to the team at MerrydaleMerrydale Manor's reply:

We loved every part of having our wedding reception at Merrydale! The staff during the pre planning were a dream to work with, making everything easy and no stress.
The venue itself is stunning, the grounds are beautiful and the house is very well thought out. The bar area is spacious and modern, the breakfast/party room works really well and having the ‘keys’ to the house to stay over afterwards with guests was fantastic.
All the staff throughout the day were so lovely and friendly.

We don’t have the words to describe just how wonderful and perfect our day was. From the moment each of us arrived we were taken care of and everything ran so smoothly throughout the day.
We’ve had a tonne of compliments from our guests about the staff at Merrydale and the venue itself. Everyone was made to feel so welcome and looked after. Our day was unforgettable! Merrydale really is a venue of dreams. I wish we could do it all over again!Merrydale Manor's reply:

Our wedding was a beautiful day. Merrydale Manor is a beautiful venue and the staff really out did themselves on the day and worked very hard. It is a day that we will remember forever. Our guests enjoyed every bit of it and we loved every moment. Our wedding coordinator on the day was Sam and she did a wonderful job. She made us feel like royalty.
There was only one issue. The tables were not arranged the way we had agreed. The tables that were meant to be facing the top table, were facing the window instead, but this didn't ruin the day. I definitely recommend Merrydale Manor.
I would say that the only thing that disappointed me was that Merrydale Manor did not share any photos of our wedding, even though they seem to share all the weddings they have.Merrydale Manor's reply:
