Absolutely wonderful - couldn’t have asked for anything more

We were incredibly happy with our experience at Museum of the Home. From the first time we were shown around, and the care and attention to detail that they put into every step of the process. We had a lot of questions leading up to our wedding, and we always received replies promptly and with helpful solutions. On the day itself, things could not have gone more smoothly. Being able to relax and not having to worry about a thing went a long way to ensuring we both had a day we will always remember. We can’t recommend the Museum of the Home more highly.

Such an incredible wedding venue

We had a wedding for 100 people in the modern rooms at the back of the Museum - the Studio (used for the ceremony, and late for dancing) and the Pavilion (used for dinner in 2 sittings of 50 people each) and the 'gardens through time' in between these two rooms. In the gardens we had a BBQ, a brass band and garden games. It was a perfect venue for us - beautiful gardens that gave it all a clam feel even though we were in central London, and the rooms are a blank canvas but are well designed so can look great with just a few flowers. All the staff at the museum were lovely throughout but Niomi is incredible - calm, patient and so accommodating! She went above and beyond and was a big part of making our wedding a success. I wish I had better photos to share but we haven't got our professional ones though yet!

Perfection

We had our civil ceremony with just 9 of us in total at the Museum of the Home in the Herb Garden and I honestly couldn't have dreamed of anything more perfect. From start to finish, the staff are lovely - they're kind, helpful and genuinely interested in you and making your wedding the best experience ever. The day was completely relaxed, nothing was a problem and precautions were taken in case of rain. Luckily, there wasn't any rain, so we were able to perform the ceremony under an arch of jasmine, amongst the blooming rose bushes, which made the most romantic setting. We couldn't have asked for more, and everything exceeded all expectations!

Lovely city location with outdoor space

When we set out to find a venue for our wedding we wanted somewhere in the city where we could also have an outdoor reception straight after the ceremony but we had another location for the rest of the day. MOTH was perfect as it was in the city, but still with beautiful green grounds which were big enough for a champagne reception for our guests and perfect for group photos after. The Pavillion is a really modern light filled space - at first we were a bit worried about it looking a bit clinical but once we had the flowers and the chairs that we had hired, plus all the guests all dressed up, it was the prefect modern and clean space for what we wanted. All the doors open up on to the gardens so it almost feels like the outdoors inside.
Niomi was super responsive and really professional, and on the day everything was stress free and straightforward.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere a bit different in London.

Made our day so very special

Due to the health of my mother we had to pull our wedding date forward and year and make it much smaller. The wonderful people at The Museum of the Home where FANTASTIC and so accommodating! There where so many options and each room/area has its on charm but the chapel was a no brainer! Super helpful, quick to respond and we where made to feel that they genuinely wanted our day to be special. Couldn't of asked for a lovelier day (the sun even came out for us!)

Beautiful Venue - Best Day Ever!

We had our ceremony in the studio and then pictures and drinks on the lawn. It was an absolutely beautiful and very unique place to get married. Our photos in on the lawn are perfect because of the backdrop. The museum were very easy to deal with and we were so lucky to have them all helping us on the day to help everything run super smoothly!

Book this place!

We booked our wedding reception in the Georgian room and it was excellent: good size for 40 ppl, intimate and stylish within this beautiful old building. Niomi was ever helpful and kind, clear on details and very professional. In the evening we partied in another room where Niomi and Emma were on hand throughout kindly guiding wandering guests. Loved this place and you will too. Lawrence and Vicente
