Our wedding

We had our wedding at Old Gore on 25/08/24 and we had the best day ever! Everyone at the Old gore have been fantastic and so helpful over the last 2 years and gave our the wedding of our dreams!

They are always at the end of the phone with their online chat service and helped us with everything! Massive shout out to Alex who was our wedding coordinator for the day! She made us feel so relaxed and was just amazing with everything!

The perfect venue

We got "that feeling" when we came for a viewing at the Old Gore and knew it was the venue for us. We had absolutely no idea how to go about planning a wedding, but from the first viewing, the lead up to the day, to the big day itself, the staff at the OG couldn't have been more helpful. The feast nights were a fantastic way of getting a literal and metaphorical flavour of what our day would look and taste like, and it made us so excited for our day. Almost three months on, people still rave about the food at our wedding- it was a hugely important part of the day for us and we couldn't have been happier with it. We wanted something a bit more relaxed and "us", but that everyone would enjoy and that tacos and pizza were perfect for that.
Emily was a wonder on the day- the perfect professional, keeping us calm and guiding us through the day and looking after us and our guests wonderfully.
The Old Gore is everything we wanted in a venue. Excellent staff, fantastic food, beautiful buildings and setting. We wish we could do it all again!

Incredible venue

As soon as we viewed Gore Barn we fell in love! It was like being in Italy, from the driveway to the venue and the endless views. It's utterly magical.

We travelled from South Wales to have our wedding here and I'm so happy we did. Nothing was too much for the team here. They accommodated everything we wanted. We wanted a chilled, fun day and that's exactly what we got. We didn't want a seating plan and they managed to achieve this even with allergies. The day was completely ours and they let us run with every single idea we had, they truly brought our vision to life.

The food was outstanding and we've had nothing but good feedback from our guests regarding this. We've even had a couple ask for details as they now want to get married here!

April 2024. Perfect venue

The team at old gore were fantastic from our first visit all the way up to the wedding. They reply to all messages so quickly and were so helpful. Tom was incredible on our day and couldn’t do enough for us. We got so many compliments all day on the venue, food and incredible service of all of the staff. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a perfect Cotswolds barn wedding.

Our perfect wedding at Old gore

The team at old gore completely exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went to plan and took the stress away from us, everything from the initial viewing to the end of our wedding day ran so smoothly- we couldn’t fault them.

The venue is so beautiful, even though we had a lot of rain on the day of our wedding it didn’t affect it at all. If anything the weather made our day even cosier! We included the fire pits and had lanterns everywhere which made it so magical. And how could we forget Deloris the disco ball, she was a beauty!!

Thanks again to everyone at Old Gore for helping us have the best day of our lives.

Amazing venue and brilliant team

We had our wedding at Old Gore in Dec 2024 - it was the most perfect place... amazing food, great atmosphere, and highly professional staff - Emily was a total pleasure to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble. We had such an amazing day - we want to do it all over again!

Absolutely perfect venue - book them now! ✨

We were planning to do a small wedding at a restaurant as food was so important to us but after visiting Old Gore, we booked the venue on the spot! Everything from the initial tour to the day itself was perfection.

All of our guests kept commenting on how great the venue was but what came out over and above was the FOOD and the SERVICE. The Taco's and Churros were incredible and there was so much food (not like your typical 3 course small portion wedding sizes), this combined with the team who were absolutely fantastic. They went over and above and were there to support with all of our requests on the day and before that. We 100% recommend.

A magical day - cannot recommend Old Gore enough

I can’t say enough amazing things about Old Gore!! As soon as we walked in on our first viewing, the chilled vibes were obvious and yet nothing was too much trouble. We did a feast night to help decide our menu but if you can’t get to one of them, be assured that every dish was fantastic. Our guests are still raving about the food! Nikki was our event planner for the day and she was an absolute star, going above and beyond to make our day seamless!
The venue is beautiful, especially as we had our ceremony width ways across the barn to make the most of the amazing windows. We wanted to do a few different touches for our day and the team at Old Gore were more than happy to help us make them all happen. All comms up to the wedding were responded to really quickly and the cost breakdowns were very clear from the outset.

The wedding of our dreams! We wanted a mediterranean culture wedding without the ask to our loved ones to travel far. Having this set up in the UK with unpredictable weather is near impossible but from the moment we visited Old Gore, we knew it was where we needed to get married. The most flexible, friendly and vibrant team we could ask to work with, completely embraced our vision and knew how important it was to us to make it the most special day for our guest! We’ve had multiple people comment to say that it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to which has been very touching to hear - it’s really down to Old Gores stunning set up and amazing team making it possible! It’ll forever be the best day of our lives, Ellie & Jack

Best day of our lives!

Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to Clayton, Emily and the whole team at Old Gore Barn for giving us the best day of our lives. We booked Old Gore 18 months before our big day and the process was seamless from start to finish. The team at Old Gore made us feel comfortable and calm, and from the very outset we felt confident that we would have the most special day.

For anyone who has booked Old Gore we would thoroughly recommend attending one of their Feast Nights where you can sample the menu. We took our parents and found the evening to be so much fun and was a great opportunity to see the venue in action.

We used several suppliers from Old Gores recommended list, all of whom were fantastic. Using reputable suppliers who had already worked at the venue and were trusted by Old Gore made the wedding planning less stressful.

We would change absolutely nothing about our day. The venue is stunning, the food amazing and the staff extremely attentive and professional.
