Cant thank enough
Absolutely amazing experience. They could not do enough in the Fountain room, from 10am when i arrived til 00.30am the following morning when it ended they simply bent over backwards for me and my wife. Simply cant praise them enough. Made our day go so smoothly.
Claire Stephen looked after our plans etc and was alwaya there and responsive with emails etc and had our minds at rest. And they have a great man called Issa who was in charge of ceremony and meal and what an absolute gem.
Thanks again Ramside, you made our day xxAbsolutely amazing experience. Ramside hall
The planner we dealt with was amazing couldn't do enough for us. However the manager running things on the day was not good at all
Didn't introduce themselves till we called reception. Was late picking me up for the wedding and blamed our guests who had been sat for at least 20 minutes prior. Wrong food delivered to several people. Gifts missing from tables. Dj despite getting a playlist didn't tell me til I went over he couldn't get my playlist which I sent weeks prior to wedding. He should have called me prior to explain and we complained with a list a mile long. Empty Promises
The wedding in the treehouse was everything we wanted as we made sure it was but don’t fooled by the statement repeated many times that there will be nothing for you to do.
Breakfast was booked for the wedding party in the Fusion restaurant on the wedding day and it was served cold and then replaced and mine was still cold so I asked that it be taken away again however can I please have a cup of tea while Mam and Dad eat theirs and this never arrived, they did refund one of the bottles of wine from the Saturday evening meal to compensate but unfortunately the let downs continued.
David introduced himself on the Sunday morning of the wedding and was very efficient in the setting up of chairs etc assuring me there was nothing to do, I have to give this man credit where it is due this man did all he could, but one man can not do it all on his own.
The sashes that had been chosen for the chairs arrived and were added to the chairs and the broken chair was replaced when we noticed it, the sashes were taken out of a black bin bag all creased and put on the chairs tied in a bow not hanging as you are shown in the photos, to be honest I could have done better myself.
When guests were due to arrive at 2:30pm, I was lead to believe that my choice of two songs were supposed to break any silences and these were not put on till after 3pm
After the service the next section was the drinks for everyone don’t be fooled that when you attend the wedding faye and you have someone serving you prosecco this is how it is going to be.. beers were put a large container full of ice and some glasses of prosecco were poured and some handed out from a table and after that I found myself giving people drinks while our magician was entertaining my guests, the strangest thing is on my video of the magician the member of Ramside staff is on the balcony with my guests watching while I did this!
The table layout was brilliantly executed, however the meal seemed to take forever to be served and then the plates containing meat were placed in front of everyone from two members of staff one of which clearly didn’t want to be there and call me old fashioned, but a skirt no longer than a belt is not what I expected to see at my wedding.
I will highlight at this point I asked for all veg etc to be plated I did not want a free for all.
Three containers came out with greens (which was filled with peas that I said I did not want) carrot and mash this was passed from pillar to post with people missing out then all of a sudden more appeared.
Basically there was three tables and there was three potato three greens three carrots etc and these should have been served three on each table to stop the “ can you pass.. I have not had…” so that wasn’t very well done and could have been avoided and not what I asked for.
The meal with no gravy that was meant for the groom was served to one of the guests I found out afterwards.
Once the meal was over we cut the cake and the furniture was replaced in no time.
At this point the two members of staff were gone I spoke to David and said about the evening drinks, we were advised that these would be put out on a table and served on the evening and the staff would stay till we said otherwise.. I certainly didn’t expect it all night but at least everyone’s first drink and not for me again to be asking people what they would like to drink.
I feel you need to know if you are considering a treehouse wedding that the experience was not as promised and our special day could have been an extra special day maybe if things happened as they should have and we were advised would happen continuously.

Perfect Day
We were on holiday and just got back.
But we would just like to say a massive thank you to you and all the team at Ramside. We had the most amazing and perfect day on our wedding day!
Honestly we couldn't of faulted the service thst day! All of our guests commented on how amazing the day was.
Thank you all so much for a brilliant experience. I'm just sad it's all over!

Most Amazing Day

Amazing
Hi,
My Daughter Zoe got married last Friday at Ramside and as her Mum, I would just like to say many many thanks to all your wonderful staff for helping to make it a fantastic day. Please pass on our thanks to everyone at the hotel, reception staff for a lovely friendly welcome, the cleaners for their politeness, the kitchen staff for our wonderful food at the reception, it was faultless. Finally to Zoe’s Wedding Planner (sorry her name escapes for now) who has helped Zoe along the way brilliantly.
As you know we had many guests stay either one night or two and they all cannot speak highly enough the Hotel.
Just one observation from me, and it’s not a complaint in any way shape or form but I would have personally found a special children’s menu in the Carvery very useful. I know they could have a smaller portion of anything there but I just feel a separate choice would have been nice. Like I say this is just my opinion and certainly not a complaint.

i do not know if it is possible to express how grateful we are to you, sarah and all your colleagues in the events team. our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more and would not have been achieved without your attentiveness and fabulous organisation, which was witnessed not only by our bridal party but also our guests.
nothing was forgotten and everything we had discussed over the months leading up to our day was executed perfectly.
most of all i wanted to thank you personally along with patrick as it is evident that you both have a passion for your work and although there were three weddings on that day, i genuinely felt that you all cared and wanted to make the day special for us and it was!

First Class
We just wanted to send an email to thank you for our perfect day yesterday.
The service from start to finish has been first class, we have mainly dealt with Kim, Lucy & Sarah and all three ladies could not have done more to help us.
Our room was set our just as we had asked, our master of ceremony and all the staff were great, our bedroom was fab and the food was amazing.
We really had the best day of our lives - thank you so much for everything.We just wanted to send an email to thank you for our perfect day yesterday.
