Our Special Day

Absolutely brilliant communication between ourselves, Sam & Anne... everything was done within a timely manner and they done everything possible to make our dream day as close to perfect on what was controllable.
The grounds itself is absolutely beautiful, pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it yourself!
The staff were so lovely with us, checking in to make sure we were okay and happy with everything.

It was honestly perfect for us! And it was all done within 4months!

A Fantastic Day

We looked at several venues, but the fact that we had so much flexibility made the Lodge the best option. We had the ability to completely tailor the day to suit our needs. All of the staff were brilliant, the venue was the perfect size. The DJ was brilliant too. We both sat down the next day and said there was not one thing we would have changed about it.

We wanted to have the ceremony outside and the team had two seating plans arranged for us should the weather change. The bar drinks were extremely reasonably priced.

We opted for a BBQ and it was a very good choice, all of the guests commented on the food and they liked the fact it was less formal. The food for the buffet was really good also.

The staff were constantly clearing the tables and making sure we were all ok.

I really cannot recommend this venue enough. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special and all of our guests all agreed.

They made our wedding dreams come true

From start to finish Sam and the team at Rettendon lodge events have been amazing! Nothing was too much for them and they really took care of me my husband and our guests. They made our wedding views and dreams come true. We got married in August and although the weather wasn’t the best we got our outside wedding thanks to the large umbrellas for our guests. We can’t thank all at Rettendon lodge enough. I would recommend going to one of their wedding fairs as they have lots of suppliers they work closely with.

Best day of our lives

What can I say!! The MOST magical day, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Staff, venue, food, atmosphere, were all amazing and we were actually shocked at how reasonably priced our day was. When I compared it to others it is 100% outstanding

Outstanding from the events team who made our day a dream come true

The whole experience from when we first met Sam the events manager, through to the moment we left the Lodge on the night of our wedding, we were beyond happy with the Lodge. Nothing was ever a problem, the team were very organised and made us very comfortable on the day, sticking to timings really well. The food was delicious we had so many compliments after the day of the food and the bar staff service on the night too. I am a perfectionist and couldn’t have been more happy with the service we received, we really did have the best wedding day. Thank you to the wonderful team at the Lodge, we would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

Fantastic Evening

Myself (David) and my Wfie (Jamie) had a belated wedding reception at the lodge country inn and couldn’t have been happier with the venue and staff.

The events planner Samantha was very responsive and was always there to answer any questions we had and was very helpful on the evening itself as was all of the staff.

We arrived at the lodge at midday and had lunch and the food was very good. We then checked into our rooms which was very easy. The rooms were very clean and everything we.

At the party in the evening the marquee looked amazing and everyone mentioned what a lovely time they had and mentioned how nice the food was. The Staff in the marquee were very friendly.

I would definitely recommend using this venue for any celebration you have as it’s very good value for money.

Truly magical!

The Rettendon Lodge events team made our twilight wedding day we will never forget. Everything - down to the decorations, the tables, the catering,and the entertainment was organised brilliantly and the team kept be calm every step of the way, making our special day truly magical for not just us two, but for all our guests too. Amazing venue, wonderful staff and absolutely stress free!

Me and my husband had our wedding here in September 2021, and the venue was beautiful with friendly staff! Samantha went above and beyond to give us our perfect stress free day. The communication between us and venue was amazing. We couldn’t thank them enough!

I wouldn’t change a thing!

When I look back on our wedding at The Rettendon Lodge I just say to friends that both myself and my husband would not change a single thing. From the initial planning meeting until the final moments on the day the staff just could not have been more invested in making our day so unbelievably special. Thank you again.

We spent time as you doing looking at different venues for our wedding. When we met the team at The Lodge their experience shone through and their packages made planning the wedding so much simpler. (No hidden extra costs)
The Lodge also gave us the opportunity to hold our wedding outside in the garden, something we were very keen on. We felt that not only would the venue be stunning, but that we would be looked after and taken care of.
And we were right! Our wedding day was simply amazing, the weather teased us but the team looked after us, and we truly had the most amazing day. The venue looked stunning, food was amazing and the staff ensured everything ran smoothly, even giving attention to detail. They also worked seamlessly with the suppliers and liaised with them to ensure smooth running of the day, we didn’t worry about anything apart from enjoining ourselves - which we did! We are still smiling now 😊
Extra bonus - we stayed over night in one of the hotel rooms on sight, with our wedding party and enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning.
