5 stars would never be enough🩷

My wife and I got married at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in June 2024 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our special day. From the moment we laid eyes on the venue and met the wedding planning the team we knew this was the place we’d start our forever.

From that first meeting to the morning after our wedding the team at the royal Berkshire were nothing short of amazing, all of our guests commented on how they couldn’t do enough on the day.

The venue in itself is beautifully picturesque, our photos say it all, everyone loved the venue and enjoyed staying (we had large amounts of people staying and having exclusive option...

My wife and I got married at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in June 2024 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our special day. From the moment we laid eyes on the venue and met the wedding planning the team we knew this was the place we’d start our forever.

From that first meeting to the morning after our wedding the team at the royal Berkshire were nothing short of amazing, all of our guests commented on how they couldn’t do enough on the day.

The venue in itself is beautifully picturesque, our photos say it all, everyone loved the venue and enjoyed staying (we had large amounts of people staying and having exclusive option was perfect for us) we also stayed the night before with 50 of our guests for a pre wedding dinner so it was a whole weekend of fun, love and excitement at the royal Berkshire hotel. The food was truly amazing with amazing portions that everyone was well fed! The ability to change things we wanted with the menu was a great touch - no ask was to big!

I have to highlight Dominika our wedding coordinator, it would not have felt so personal without her, through her slick communication and care she showed us throughout the process we had 100% trust in her which is essential when planning a wedding, she made the whole process feel seamless and she genuinely felt part of the family by the end I can’t thank her and the whole team enough for making it the most special day,

Everyone had a great sleep as the rooms were very comfy (decently priced which was a selling point for us as we struggled with finding venues that had enough rooms for people to stay that weren’t astronomical but were also classic elegant and modern which the royal Berkshire did on each level!)

The wedding breakfast room is light and beautiful with light neutral carpets and curtains (I might be pedantic but I hate crazy coloured ones) we got married in the secret walled garden which was beautiful
The hog roast in the evening I’m told was amazing was enjoying myself too much I missed it lol! Also the ability to have fireworks was an amazing touch.

The last thing is that it’s dog friendly so we were able to have our puppy along for the day which was great too!
I wish we could get married again there a hundred times if we could it’s a truly special hidden gem where we will visit again and again it will hold a special place in our heart forever - if your thinking about booking do it NOW!

Couldn’t have wished for more!

From the moment we first walked into Royal Berkshire to visit, to the moment we said goodbye the day after our wedding we, and all our guests were welcomed so warmly. We were listened to, guided and fabulously looked after, making our wedding exactly what we wanted. It’s a beautiful space, with lovely rooms and staff were keen to accommodate all our weird and wonderful requests to incorporate my husband’s Azeri culture too. It was a pleasure to visit again a year later with our first baby and most of the staff who looked after us were still there which I think speaks to the ‘family’ feeling of the hotel.

Magical day and a magical team who created it for us!

The Royal Berkshire went the extra mile to ensure we had a spectacular day! We definitely gave them a challenge with some of our very non-standard requirements and every time we requested something it was met with a smile and a "let's figure out how we make this possible" attitude. The team were phenomenal in the lead up, putting up with a lot of questions from us and just as spectacular on our day - making sure we felt taken care of and special at every moment. The venue itself was stunning, but it really was the service of Dominika and her phenomenal team that made our day just perfect! Thank you Royal Berkshire!

Lovely venue 💕

The venue was gorgeous and the staff were faultless. There were a few small things that went wrong but overall they recorrected their issues and resolved it promptly. Thank you for our lovely day 🥰

Amazing venue and staff

The venue is so amazing! We were lucky to have our wedding outside in the secert garden. It was the most magical day. The staff were so friendly and supportive. They always answered emails quickly and were always happy to arrange meetings.
We couldn't have asked for a better team in Dominika and Lydia. I was always phoning and emailing to explain my vision, they listened to everything and brought our vision to life.
On the day we ran into some issues but this was rectified so smoothly that no one would have known.
If I was to have a wedding again there would not be another place. We will definitely be back to the venue for other occasions.

The best wedding venue we could have asked for!

Where do we begin? From the moment we enquired at the Royal Berkshire, we were blown away. The whole team are just there to please and help and I cannot fault them. From the show around process, to the organisation, to the actual day, I have no faults! The team were always on hand to answer any questions that we had or to support with our plans. The staff made us feel so at home every time we visited and always knew us by name/ when our wedding was.On the day, we were made to feel like royalty and there was no job that they couldn’t help us with. We are so grateful to all of the staff that...

Our perfect day!

I don’t even know where to start, we had our perfect day last week and everything from the very first time we came to look around to even the day after our wedding day the whole team at the Royal Berkshire were just incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so flexible and really listened to our vision and the attention to detail was second to none. The communication has always been great and on the day everything ran like clockwork. The food was AMAZING and the dinner service was great. All our guests even commented how great the breakfast was the next day. All the rooms are lovely and so comfortable and spacious. We honestly cannot recommend the Royal Berkshire enough for making our day so incredible.

Honestly, couldn’t thank the team enough. A truly beautiful day in such a beautiful setting. Well worth every penny spent!

Simple the best!!

We came to visit The Royal Berkshire back in February 2020 before lockdown. We meet the lovely Evie and after that meeting we know we found the venue of our dreams!! And booked straight away!!

After lockdown staff had changed and we went through a couple of temporary wedding coordinators. I must say the communication was lacking and I found myself feeling very nervous and not sure who was looking after our big day.

Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and...

Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and reassured that our wedding was in good hands.

The venue invited us to an open evening, where they had revamped the wedding space to update it, we were able to check out the new fresh rooms and try the delicious canapés.

Near the time of the wedding we did our menu tasting. We were given a choice of food and wines to try for the big day.

2 months away from the wedding, we was given our personal wedding coordinator for the day it’s self!! The lovely Lydia!! At first I was a little upset that Dominika was not going to look after the day it’s self! But we met with Lydia and fell in love!! She saw my vision my bible book!! And loved it!!

The Friday before the wedding we had are final handover with Lydia who was looking after the day of the wedding and Sam who was looking after the evening part of the wedding. The handover was perfect we went through all the details and was happy.

The wedding was a big success with no hiccups, Lydia was able to take everything from my wedding planner and make my vision come true.

I want to say a big Thank you!!!!
The Royal Berkshire is a home away from Home. With the best wedding team!!

A massive Thank you!! To Lydia your an amazing person, you made the final process so easy and made us feel so relaxed towards the end. We had a great laugh with you, keep being you!!.

A big Thank you!! To Sam you helped the evening run so smoothly. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming engagement! She will say YES!! With the plan you have and how sharp you will look in the tie!!

I’m left to say, if you’re looking for the best venue with the best staff! Look no one!! Check their page and website out!! Say Amy sent us here!! You won’t be disappointed!!
