The most perfect wedding venue!
Hannah, our wedding coordinator, Alec, our master of ceremonies and all the team at Shawhill were absolutely incredible throughout the planning process and on the big day itself.
It was the wedding of our dreams and we had the best day of our lives.
All of our guests loved the venue which has produced some stunning backdrops for our photos; unreal, delicious food ;and top quality service from staff. From the level of care and support early on in the planning process after we were let down by our last venue, we couldn’t fault Hannah, Alec and the team. Every little detail was how we imagined and staff went above and beyond for all our guests to enjoy the day (especially accommodating our grandparents).
We can’t recommend you all enough!
If you are looking for a wedding venue that are personal, easy to communicate with and truely care about you (and we can vouch that not all venues truely do care), then you won’t find a better local venue than Shawhill!
We will definitely be back to share the memories and enjoy you food in the near future!

Excellent venue for Wedding/Party
We held our Wedding party in October (married in Italy) they were so helpful and tailored made our menu to our request. All guests were impressed with the quality and taste of the food.
The staff are all so helpful and nothing is too much for them. Attention to detail and professional but friendly and polite.
Would highly recommend the venue on location, value . Food and the atmosphere the staff bring to the day.
They recommended excellent companies for the chair covers and signs, which were hassle free again. -

From the very start of mine and my wife's wedding planning journey, the team at Shaw Hill have been amazing. Hannah has been an absolute star in professionally supporting our vision of our big day.
Over the course of 18 months of planning, she got to know us and what we wanted our day to feel like. Providing expert advise and support throughout the planning process. Not once did we ever feel there was too stupid a question or too many for Hannah and the team to answer.
Then came the big day, and alongside Hannah, our master of ceremonies, Alec also played a huge role. Together, they both made sure we did not want for anything on our big day. Whilst it took some getting used to being the "stars of the show" and having our questions and requests answered to within seconds, it was amazing to know that Alec and Hannah would make sure that nothing went wrong and we had everything we needed.
We truly cannot thank them, and the wider team, enough for everything they did for our special day. I would highly recommend getting married at Shaw Hill. It was an amazing day for obvious reasons, but from a venue point of view, Alec and Hannah made it that much more special.

We had our wedding day at Shaw Hill on Saturday and it was amazing from start to finish. The whole wedding team and everyone else were on hand for anything we needed. This also goes for Hannah who never failed to answer any questions, however small, in the lead up to the wedding.
Hannah and Alec, what can I say! They genuinely really care about making your day special and went above and beyond all day (and night). Even down to the finer details of dealing with a very nervous, then giddy bride!
The food was amazing, we had so many people comment on the day and since. I think about 90% of our entertainment was recommend to us by Hannah and it was all amazing. Shaw Hill work with some great suppliers as part of their packages; the venue was dressed beautifully and our table seating plan was perfect.
If you are still at the venue selection stage of planning and are looking for somewhere magical for your special day, I can not recommend Shaw Hill enough.

Amazing Venue
We got married here on 14th June 2024 and the day could not have been more perfect! Hannah was amazing all the way through and was there to answer all questions. She was so flexible with meeting us during the planning process and was always on hand to help with anything along the way. On the day I could not fault one thing. Alex was there to greet me and talk through how the day would go and Hannah was there to make sure everything we had asked for was in place. We stayed the night before and had a separate room to get ready in whilst the boys and kids enjoyed the pool and spa. The day was perfect from start to finish, the ceremony dressing and reception room dressing, the food, the Canapés, drinks, staff all of it was spot on! Hannah Alex and the rest of the team at shaw Hill went so so above and beyond for us and we are so grateful for everything! What an amazing day!

Throughout the whole process from booking the wedding, through to the day after the wedding, the hotel and staff have been amazing. So flexible and catering to our every need. I could not think of a more well organised, professional and beautiful place to get married. Hannah and the team are fantastic and will change things to suit you (even at the very last minute) without an issue. All I can say is we will have the best possible memories of our special day thanks to all the staff at Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel xxxx -

Phenomenal ❤︯
We had our dream wedding 27/04/24 at Shaw Hill. Hannah was our organiser from the start, she was super helpful and supportive all the way throughout, explaining everything in detail.
She was so helpful organising a family meal the night before (with over 25 people it's hard work to plan but the team were so accommodating even when some of our guests wanted to change orders). The food was incredible (so many wonderful comments on the fish and chips, lamb duo and corn fed chicken).
The wedding day was so relaxed - the brunch for myself (bride) and my bridesmaids was amazing whilst getting ready - cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, prosecco, yoghurt, compote, toast, we didn't go hungry!)
Alec was our master of ceremonies and was brilliant! Professional yet so welcoming and friendly - made us feel really at ease even when we had screaming children (that made the ceremony late) 😅 everyone was so calm and the day flowed so well.
The food and wine was incredible (salmon starter was delicious, as was the roast beef and sticky toffee!) everyone commented on the high quality of the food and how helpful the team were. The team worked so hard to make our room beautiful and set up the most stunning cake table.
Big shoutout to Jamie too who despite being on reception - helped my 90 year old nan decorate my wedding cake (and nan is a handful) but she loved him and they smashed designing it!
We couldn't have asked for more, it was truly amazing - it just went too quickly!
Amazing day and we can't thank everyone enough!
