  Rustic autumnal decor for our perfectly intimate wedding day

  We had our wedding in the Durham Suite and the day was magical. The whole team at South Causey Inn were fantastic and Lauren, our wedding organiser, did a fantastic job. Thank you all for making our wedding the most magical event of the year! ❤️🫶

  November wedding

  Would highly recommend the south causey to anyone looking for a venue in the north east our day was absolutely perfect the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly the food was phenomenal the hotel rooms are amazing literally could not fault a thing

  Perfect in every way

  Where do I even start.. 24th Oct 24 the most perfect day for our wedding in the old barn. Stacey our wedding coordinator is just the best ❤️, Lee, the DJ, Bar staff, chefs, the rest of the team are absolutely amazing! They all made the day perfect. Made us feel so calm and relaxed as we were in such good hands, could not have asked for a better day. The venue and everything was so beautiful - and the food just wow. All our guests love it.

  Wedding 24/07/24

  Our wedding couldn’t have been better! Andrew was amazing from start to finish and we felt relaxed knowing we were in safe hands. It was literally the best day without fault!

  Our Wedding Day

  Where to start!
  
  From the very start of looking for a venue for our big day, everyone associated with the South Causey Inn that we were in contact with was absolutley amazing!
  
  The lead up to the day, any questions that needed answering or any last minute changes that we needed to make, nothing was ever an issue and everything was sorted without any fuss whatsoever
  
  For our big day, Stacey was our wedding co-ordinator and she was beyond amazing the full day, everything was explained and we were told exactly what was happening and we were felt to made at ease by here and our guests were the same too. She was a massive part of our day and made it flow so smoothly and was more than happy to be talking to our guests throughout the day
  
  Honestly, the perfect day that was helped by a perfect venue and perfect staff. Couldn't recommened the venue anymore, amazing!!

  Thank you so so much for our incredible wedding day! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and literally catered to every need! Special shout out to our coordinator- Andrew! You were amazing from start to finish- thank you for being such a calming and relaxing presence throughout the day. Everything about the day was amazing- the professionalism, the food, the layout!   Outstanding Venue and Team

  The wedding venue was excellent. It combines a rustic atmosphere with well-invested facilities which deliver all of the modern comforts and amenities we and our guests could have liked. The food and beverage offering was excellent, and the venue afforded ample opportunities for photographs, as well as a good amount of space regardless of the weather.
  
  The staff were outstanding. Extremely prompt and clear with their responses, but also warm and friendly. They were flexible in meeting our small requests and adjustments, and helped guide us through what the day would look like so that we felt comfortable and confident when the big day itself came.

  Our wedding day August 2024

  We celebrated our wedding at the Old Barn in August, and the venue was absolutely perfect! We chose the Elite Package, which we highly recommend, as it took away so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning. The wedding team and staff went above and beyond, from our check-in the day before to our check-out. A special shoutout to Andrew, who was exceptional and made sure everything ran smoothly on our big day. Thanks to him and the entire team, our day truly was perfect!

  There is not a thing I could fault. From booking our wedding to our special day everything else as absolutely perfect. The staff go above and beyond. Our guests said it's the best wedding they've ever been to. We were honestly blown away. Out on the day wedding co ordinator Lauren worked her socks off and had everything running to a tee. Everything we asked for was done and more. The whole staff were amazing and hard working. They were also fun and polite and forever had a smile. This included staff the night before too. I honestly would do it over and over because they made it so easy
