Perfect experience!

We chose Stanbrook Abbey as our wedding venue as soon as we saw it! The venue is a mix of tasteful, modern decor combined with the more traditional features that you’d expect from a former nunnery. We completely fell in love with the callow great hall, it’s simply stunning.

Caylie and the rest of the team are superb. During the run up to our wedding, Caylie was always available by phone or email if we had any questions or queries, no matter how small or trivial. The team really helped to ensure that our wedding ran smoothly and without a hitch.

We chose Stanbrook Abbey as our wedding venue as soon as we saw it! The venue is a mix of tasteful, modern decor combined with the more traditional features that you’d expect from a former nunnery. We completely fell in love with the callow great hall, it’s simply stunning.

Caylie and the rest of the team are superb. During the run up to our wedding, Caylie was always available by phone or email if we had any questions or queries, no matter how small or trivial. The team really helped to ensure that our wedding ran smoothly and without a hitch.

During the menu tasting session, we were blown away by every aspect. The decor, the wine selection, the restaurant staff, and of course the food. We chose 3 of each course to taste, and to say we struggled to choose was an understatement! Each dish was freshly prepared and presented beautifully. The flavour combinations were amazing, we easily would’ve been happy with any of them!

Our actual wedding day was just perfect! Again, the team were spot on. We were kept informed every step of the way and felt comfortable and confident that the day would run smoothly. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful wedding it was!

Thankyou Stanbrook, you truly are a dream wedding venue and we are so pleased that we got to spend our special day there!

Christmas wedding

Thank you Stanbrook Abbey for our beautiful wedding day on 19 December 2024. From the moment we met Jodie in September 2023, we knew Stanbrook was the venue for us! It took our breath away that day and every time after when we visited. Not only is it an absolutely stunning venue, but the staff are incredible. A huge thanks goes to Jodie who supported us on the lead up to our big day and helped with my nerves on the morning of the day! And to Clyde who was fantastic on the day too. Our Wedding at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel was an absolutely amazing day. Becca was great in helping us plan the entire day and was only an email or meeting away at each point in the planning process. Ellie was brilliant during our menu tasting and ensured the day itself went as smoothly as possible. All of the staff were really helpful and positive on the day, which set a friendly and very professional tone to welcome our guests. We all thoroughly enjoed ourselves and the day was truly magical. The most incredible day

Stanbrook Abbey Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Liza went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was planned exactly how we wanted it. She put us in touch with lots of their trusted suppliers, who helped bring our perfect day to life. The day ran very smoothly and Clyde worked hard to ensure all of our needs were met. The food was incredible and our guest had the best time. The Callow Great hall was the most beautiful place for us to get married. We couldn't have asked for anything more from a wedding venue. Our wedding at Stanbrook Abbey

We had our wedding at Stanbrook Abbey, and it was absolutely magical. The stunning architecture, serene surroundings, and beautiful grounds created the perfect backdrop for our day. Our wonderful wedding

When we were looking at wedding venues we were blown away by Stanbrook Abbey being such a beautiful venue with historic character, set in an idyllic countryside location.
It was a pleasure to meet Jodie who showed us around and once we had decided to go ahead, she guided us through the wedding planning process with ease and kept in touch with us via email and meetings leading up to the date.
We had a small intimate ceremony and an evening do, even still we had a mixture of nerves and excitement. The hotel staff lead by Ellie on the day were so helpful, great communication as to what was happening next etc, all of the service...

When we were looking at wedding venues we were blown away by Stanbrook Abbey being such a beautiful venue with historic character, set in an idyllic countryside location.
It was a pleasure to meet Jodie who showed us around and once we had decided to go ahead, she guided us through the wedding planning process with ease and kept in touch with us via email and meetings leading up to the date.
We had a small intimate ceremony and an evening do, even still we had a mixture of nerves and excitement. The hotel staff lead by Ellie on the day were so helpful, great communication as to what was happening next etc, all of the service we received was excellent.
This brings us on to the food which was outstanding! Everything was perfection it was a well thought out and lovely menu. The food for our evening was lovely too and well presented on the buffet. Compliments to the chef.
We enjoyed use of the grounds for our photos, which were well kept and accessible. The hotel room was lovely with the free standing bath and some lovely finishing touches.
Overall we had the best day! We didn’t want it to end, thanks to all the team at Stanbrook

Wedding Review

We had an amazing experience on our wedding day at Stanbrook Abbey. The coordination and planning from the team is second to none, they are so supportive in helping you plan your day exactly how you want to and are extremely clear with their communication and always super responsive.

On the day itself, the team were so helpful with timings, offering to help with setting up and with the general movement of guests. The food was absolutely unbelievable too, the guests were especially very complimentary of it!

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for more from Stanbrook Abbey. It is a stunning venue and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff help to make this a 10/10 wedding venue. Would highly recommend!

The wedding of our dreams

The grand setting of the callow great hall , the grounds, the open and spacious pavilion speak for themselves and are just some of the things that tempted us to view Stanbrook Abbey and as soon as we stepped in and met the people, shoutout to Becca and Ellie, we knew it was the one for us and would be worth the 3 hour drive our friends and family would have to take to get there - given the compliments we received from our guests, they found it worth it! I can't express enough how professional everyone was not only on the day but throughout the planning process. They go above and beyond to give you a stress free...

Jodie, our wedding coordinator, was exceptional throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly responsive, answering all our emails and calls promptly, no matter how many details or silly questions we had.

Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, and we received so many compliments on the day itself.

The Manor House was an ideal spot for us to relax and spend time with our loved ones the day before the wedding. Our guests were also very pleased with their rooms, praising how spacious and luxurious they were. The Malvern Suite provided the perfect setting for getting ready, offering both comfort and elegance.

A big highlight for us was the food. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which was incredibly important to us. The team truly delivered on this front, and it added to the overall experience.

One of the reasons we chose Stanbrook Abbey was its ability to offer a church-like wedding without being in a traditional church, which was exactly what we wanted. The venue’s ability in hosting all aspects of the day indoors was a key factor, as we didn’t want to worry about the weather. We loved having three different event spaces, plus the outdoors, giving us plenty of room for all our guests to enjoy.

We can’t thank the team at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel enough for making our wedding so memorable. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a truly special place to celebrate their big day.
