The best wedding venue and staff

We had our wedding July this year with Charlotte as our wedding co-ordinator. From the minute we saw the venue and met the staff we knew this was the venue we wanted for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous and has the most beautiful grounds also. The whole process from first visiting to the day of our wedding was so relaxed. Communication is 100% and the staff are very flexible in making sure the day suits your wishes. We could not have wished for a better wedding co-ordinator than Charlotte, and all our family and friends commented on how amazing she was. Charlotte did not miss anything, and we couldn't have imagined the day running as smoothly without her!...

Best day of our lives

Could not recommend this venue and Charlotte enough!!! We had the absolute best day of our lives and it’s thanks to Charlotte and all the staff. Communication was amazing and Charlotte could not do enough for us in the run up and on the day. Everything went so smoothly and the setting is absolutely beautiful which made for stunning photos. I used the Hayloft to get ready in the morning and this was such a perfect, relaxing space. We also rented the cottage for the wedding night which was also beautiful! All the areas worked so well and the day and night flowed really well because of this. We really had the best day ever 🤍

Venue of dreams

We fell in love with Stratton Court Barn as soon as we saw it, and it was the only venue we ended up viewing.

We attended a couple of open days, which made us fall in love with the venue even more.

Charlotte was our wedding coordinator and what an amazing job she did!
From responding to various questions via email, to tips of how to organise our decorations that we had to hand over, even last minute changes a few days before the wedding and even on the day.

Everything ran so smoothly and was the more perfect day ever!

We fell in love with Stratton Court Barn as soon as we saw it, and it was the only venue we ended up viewing.

Everything was planned for an indoor wedding, due to it being October and not the most predictable weather wise, however luck was on our side and we had the most gorgeous day which meant we could spend more time outside.

Thank you Charlotte for helping the day plan so smoothly and perfectly. We honestly had the best day and you were a massive part of that.

Wonderful November Wedding

Stratton Court Barn was everything we'd hoped it would be. The venue is beautiful and spacious and Charlotte did everything to make our day special and run really smoothly.

Beautiful wedding venue

We’re so glad we chose Stratton Court Barn for our wedding. It is a really beautiful wedding venue with a great team and the additions they have introduced over the last year have only enhanced it. One of the appeals to us of Stratton Court Barn was the amount of both inside and outside space. The grounds are stunning but the inside space was so lovely we also were not worried about whether it would rain or not! We also benefitted from the opening of the Byre, which gave a lovely space for our wedding breakfast (separate from the main barn where we had our ceremony) and provided even more inside space for guests. Charlotte was our wedding coordinator...

Charlotte was our wedding coordinator and did a fantastic job at ensuring everything was where it needed to be. The final planning session was very helpful for identifying which planning aspects we still needed to finalise. This has moved closer to the wedding that we’d originally thought (we were a bit worried that we hadn’t had it 3 months before) but Charlotte told us she has moved these sessions closer to wedding dates because typically people need the extra month for getting things in order - this was definitely the case for us! Overall, we’d highly recommend Stratton Court Barn!

Our wedding was AMAZING!

Myself & my partner don't live locally to Bicester/Stratton Court Barn and had stumbled across the venue online, after we had visited numerous venues in our local area, which didn't tick our box.

From the first initial contact, we knew Stratton Court Barn was the wedding venue for us.

The staff were friendly, efficient, thorough and really took the time to get to know us before our big day, no question is silly and no request too big. Charlotte was our wedding coordinator and was truly incredible, we cannot say enough nice things about her and our day really wouldn't have been as good as it was without her looking after us all.

The venue (both the buildings and the grounds) are truly breath-taking and clearly so well maintained. We wanted to make the most of the venue and both myself & my now husband got ready at the venue in the morning (in the stables and the granary cottage) and we would highly recommend this as the celebrations start early and with complete ease.

We absolutely loved that our dog could be part of our day too!

Our guests on our wedding day couldn't say enough nice things about the whole day and we could go on to say more but we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams, we just wish we could do it all again!

The Perfect Day!

We had the most perfect day at Stratton Court Barn celebrating our wedding. It was the most magical day! We got ready there in the morning and we were looked after so well by the venue staff for the whole day. The bar was brilliant and our wedding co-ordinator, Zoe, was beyond perfect. She made everything happen behind the scenes, ensured everything ran to time and was generally a wonderful presence throughout our day. Everything flowed like a clockwork and we were supported through each and every moment of our day. We loved every minute of our wedding in such a beautiful venue with such a lovely team. Thank you so much for making our wedding day more than we could have ever hoped for!

A truly special day

An amazing day, Charlotte & the team made it absolutely made it a day to remember. Honestly we can hands down say it was the best day of our lives! From the perfect venue to the perfect support and seamless coordination of the day made it everything.

Amazing venue & people

Got married at Stratton Court Barn on 12th October 2024. Got married at Stratton Court Barn on 12th October 2024. We were looking for dog-friendly venues and this came up; it was the first venue we visited and my now wife knew it was the one pretty much immediately. Our dog was only 4 months at the time and got a lot of fuss from all the staff so didn't take much persuading!
In the two years between securing the venue and having the wedding we ended up talking to a few different people about our needs but they were all extremely helpful and patient with all our questions, and seemed just as excited as us about our big day. They have lots of recommendations on catering, flowers, decorations, cakes, accommodation, etc, so you don't feel like you're having to do all your research yourself. They were also very accommodating with changes being made up to a week before and always with a smile.
The venue itself is beautiful and has plenty of space inside as well as a lot of grounds around it that make for lovely photos, especially the lake around the back (see photos). The Byre wasn't originally there when we booked but we were allowed to use it anyway without additional charge, which was great as it's a wonderful space; we used it just for the wedding breakfast but it would be great as the main ceremony room as well.
Charlotte was our co-ordinator on the day and she was an absolute star, the whole day ran very smoothly and it was very much down to her; we actually had two additional guests show up unannounced and she dealt with it amazingly, ensuring they had space at a table and got some food. We got so many compliments and asked where we found her, with a lot of people surprised she just came with the venue! Also the folks on the bar were a laugh, and put up with guests antics with good humour.
I would definitely recommend Stratton Court Barn, it's an amazing venue with people that just make things easy for you. My wife was absolutely over the moon with the whole day, of course I was too :)
