Amazing Day

My wife and I got married at Stretton Manor Barn in November 2024, and from the moment we stepped in, we knew it was the perfect venue. Although some of our guests jokingly described it as being "in the middle of nowhere," they had no trouble finding it, and the location offered an incredible sense of peace and privacy.

The staff at Stretton Manor Barn were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. My wife and I got married at Stretton Manor Barn in November 2024, and from the moment we stepped in, we knew it was the perfect venue. Although some of our guests jokingly described it as being "in the middle of nowhere," they had no trouble finding it, and the location offered an incredible sense of peace and privacy.

The staff at Stretton Manor Barn were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They made our day completely stress-free, addressing every question (no matter how random) and ensuring that our guests’ dietary needs were fully accommodated. On the day itself, Ellie was fantastic. She kept everything running smoothly, calmed our nerves, and ensured everyone was in the right place at the right time. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to manage the day.

Now, the food—it was, hands down, the best we’ve ever had at a wedding. We started with a Prosecco and canapé evening where we sampled the available main courses, and we had a hard time choosing just one! On the big day, the food was outstanding. It arrived promptly, and guests could serve themselves generous portions or even haggle over the last piece of lamb! Every guest we spoke to said it was the best wedding food they had ever had, amazed by both the quality and variety. Even though we were too full to try the evening food, those who did still rave about it two months later.

The venue’s open-plan layout created the perfect atmosphere, allowing the energy to flow effortlessly throughout the day. Guests could easily catch up with one another or hit the dance floor, depending on their mood.

We did share a common sentiment expressed in other reviews: during the lead-up to the big day, it felt a little strange not having one specific point of contact until about six weeks out. However, any queries we had before that were always answered promptly and efficiently, so it didn’t impact our overall experience.

The perfect venue

Stretton Manor Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding day in November this year. Amanda and the team were quick to answer our queries and offer reassurance throughout the planning stage. We had a large wedding with over 90 day guests but the venue was the perfect size for a cosy winter wedding. The food was incredible and all guests commented on it being the best wedding food they'd ever had. Amanda kept the whole day on track and her team were always on hand. We wish we could do it all over again!

Incredible venue

We had our wedding day at Stretton Manor Barn on the 10th November. It is a stunning venue, intimate, cosy, modern, perfect for our autumn wedding. I like how it’s all one big room so you don’t lose track of guests! Even though it was November we also made use out the outdoor space with the patio heaters, under cover sofas and fire pits and weren’t cold at all. The staff were so good on the day, they kept checking in on us, made sure we had our own canapés and always had a drink in our hand. They kept us up to speed with what was next etc so I really couldn’t fault them. Making sure we had...

We had our wedding day at Stretton Manor Barn on the 10th November. It is a stunning venue, intimate, cosy, modern, perfect for our autumn wedding. I like how it’s all one big room so you don’t lose track of guests! Even though it was November we also made use out the outdoor space with the patio heaters, under cover sofas and fire pits and weren’t cold at all. The staff were so good on the day, they kept checking in on us, made sure we had our own canapés and always had a drink in our hand. They kept us up to speed with what was next etc so I really couldn’t fault them. Making sure we had a taxi back to our accommodation was also great. The food is also incredible! By far the best I’ve had at a wedding. Unfortunately with the wedding nerves I barely touched mine but what I did have was amazing! Wish I could go back and have it as a guest.
There were only a couple of things where I thought but there was a bit of room for improvement, but still worthy of 5 stars. Communication on the run up was a bit sporadic until we were allocated our wedding coordinator 6 weeks before and I didn’t really like how I was speaking to someone different every time. I also had to chase for our final meeting to be arranged as I could see our last payment approaching and no one had been in touch. Also on the day I’d been very thorough with the seating plan but some high chairs were in the wrong spot which me and my husband spotted luckily. Also the kids food came out quite late, they didn’t have starters so I thought it would have been good to bring them out before the adult mains as the little ones were getting hungry/restless.

I loved our wedding here and would 100% have it here again, hope I get to return as a guest on day!

The Best Day Of Our Lives!

Myself and my husband got married at Stretton Manor Barn on the 2nd November and it was honestly the best day of our lives! We first viewed Stretton Manor back in the summer of 2022 and instantly knew it was the venue for us. The rustic charm and the openness of the venue was something we both loved. We also loved that it was all one big room so guests could mingle together in the same space. Throughout the planning process, nothing was ever too much to ask. As a self confessed control freak I was definitely emailing a lot, but any questions I had were always answered quickly. We even got to go to the prosecco and canapes...

She was not only our coordinator, but my dress fixer (thank you!), kept us informed of the order of the day as honestly you lose time, and even re-wrote our DJ song requests out for us when they didn't quite go to plan! The food, we had so many compliments about! Everyone was so full and we all felt bad leaving food but you honestly get so much! We were absolutely spoilt for choice. It's second to none. We both definitely recommend the camembert starter and Bakewell tart. If you have the banquet trio, the dauphinoise potatoes are amazing! We also want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who were so attentive all day, regularly checking in on us and our guests to make sure we had everything we needed. We've had lots of comments from our guests saying how helpful, professional and friendly all the staff were. Thank you Stretton Manor Barn for being such an amazing wedding venue and to all of your staff for being so accommodating to us and all of our guests. We loved every moment of our wedding day. Our vision came to life and we are so thankful for that. To anyone thinking of having their wedding at Stretton Manor Barn, do it! Mr & Mrs Elliott.

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing venue and staff!!!!

I would like to say a very big thank you to all of those who made this a very special day, with a special mention to Amanda.

The venue is a stunning place in an idyllic location, with the most amazing and helpful staff. The day was perfect, and everything was stunning.

Amanda was the perfect wedding planner providing support where needed and going above and beyond to be there for everyone, not just myself and now husband and at the same time not being intrusive.

May 2024 Wedding

Myself and my husband got married here in May and we had the most amazing and special day.
From first viewing the venue they made us feel very special and we absolutely fell in love with the modern feel of the barn venue.
The team were amazing and nothing was too much trouble even after bombarding them with loads of questions.
We had the best day, everything was organsied to a T and our guests were treated very well (they even managed to source hot chocolates for our elderly guests). The food was amazing and is still talked about now 4 months down the line.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. Special thanks to Ellie our wedding coordinator and the rest of the team at Stretton Manor Barn.

Our wedding August 2024 was everything and more of a dream come true! From start to finish we had an absolutely perfect day! The staff are lovely, attentive, kind, welcoming and will go above and beyond to make your day perfect!
The venue is just stunning. We had minimal decorations because the barn speaks for itself! The food, OMG! We had so many compliments from guests about how gorgeous the food was and we also have never eaten anything so beautiful!
I could go on forever about this barn and I will always cherish our beautiful day at this beautiful place! Thank you so much to the team at Stretton!

Highly recommend

Myself and my wife got married at Stretton Manor Barn a little over a week ago.

We visited the venue a little over 2 years ago and as most couples stated, pretty much knew instantly that it was the venue for us. The venue is beautiful and photos do not do it justice. We loved the open plan styling which allowed all our guests to stay together throughout.

However the staff are what makes this place superb. The communication from our first visit is unparalleled. The constant communication and attention to the fine details are what makes this place special and deserving of the awards.

We knew the food would be good but they blew away...

We visited the venue a little over 2 years ago and as most couples stated, pretty much knew instantly that it was the venue for us. The venue is beautiful and photos do not do it justice. We loved the open plan styling which allowed all our guests to stay together throughout.

We knew the food would be good but they blew away our expectations on the day. If anyone is thinking of upgrading to the steak, do it!

I would like to make a special thank you to Amanda and Heidi who were our wedding coordinators on the day. They couldn’t have been more helpful and were always smiling.

The best day of our lives.

Mark showed up around and discussed the venue over a glass of prosecco, everything was laid out clearly with no confusing pricing structures we had seen at other venues. In the 2 years from booking to our wedding on the 4th August 2024 the team answered our questions promptly and we went back on a few occasions to go over some plans for the day.

Amanda was our wedding coordinator and she is incredible at what she does, she ensured everything went smoothly and that we could focus on enjoying our day. Steve took over in the afternoon during our wedding...

Steve took over in the afternoon during our wedding breakfast and again Steve made sure the afternoon ran perfectly and checked in with my wife and I regularly to ensure we had everything we needed.
The food, drinks and atmosphere throughout the day was nothing short of perfect, we didn't have to worry about anything and this allowed us to be in the moment with our guests throughout the whole day.

We genuinely had the best day of our lives and felt that the team at Stretton Manor Barn worked extremely hard to look after us and our guests. The only disappointment is that we can't do it all again.
