The Bedford was the perfect wedding venue. Kay, Kirsty, Dylan and the team could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much to ask, they went above and beyond and offered to support us in ways we could not even imagine needing. For example holding a brolly and walking with us to the church and waiting outside at the end of the ceremony to keep us dry on the way back. The food was hot and phenomenal and exactly like our wedding tasting, very impressive on such big scale. We had so many compliments about the food from our guests and it even had a mention in the guest book as the best wedding food they had ever had. The evening West Country boards were so impressive not only because they took 4 people to carry but show casing local produce which was great for family and friends who had traveled from afar.
Kay’s communication from our first enquiry throughout the planning process and on the day its self was so prompt which was hugely helpful and appreciated she helped our wedding dreams come to reality.
We will be forever thankful to the Bedford for making our wedding day so special it really felt like a home from home during our wedding celebrations.The Bedford Hotel's reply:

Wonderful Wedding Venue, with amazing character and charm.
The location is set in an ancient stannary and market town in Tavistock on Dartmoor.
The Wedding coordinator and the staff were very attentive and made our Wedding Day special with lots of happy memories.
Our Wedding Guests loved the venue and it's unique character. We couldn't ask for more.

They were fantastic at accommodating our needs from the start and very adaptable when things were going crazy close to the day. A beautiful day
We are so pleased that we chose the Bedford for our wedding, the hotel and gardens are beautiful and very picturesque. The booking was easy and the wedding team were supportive and attentive prior to and throughout the day. The Bedford Hotel hosted our recent wedding. Hannah and Kay were fantastic from start to finish. They booked in regular meetings with us and nothing was too much trouble. Everything we asked for was accommodated and there was a real can do attitude. Dylan the general manager was excellent on the day. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for an intimate winter wedding. The Tavistock room was breathtaking. Thank you for everything!The Bedford Hotel's reply:

Astonishing
We couldn’t have opted for a better place to get married, from the first time we went to look at the venue all the way up to our wedding the staff were absolutely incredible. I would especially like to thank Hannah it was a pleasure to have her as our wedding organiser she helped us day and night from the very start and I would just like to say a huge thank you to her. The venue was amazing, wonderful, beautiful, idyllic, and just simply amazing. I would highly recommend to have your wedding or any other events here we will be sure to returning in the future. We cant recommend the Bedford Hotel enough.
We can not praise The Bedford Hotel enough for our amazing wedding day. From the first call we made to them to enquire about the venue the staff were really helpful and could not do enough for us. Having called a couple of other venues where we had to fit into what they offered The Bedford was the other way round and offered to fit in with what we wanted.
The day went without a hitch, the staff knew exactly what they were doing, They ran the day so smoothly we did not need to worry about a thing which proved they have a wealth of experience.
All our guests agreed that the food was amazing, we thought it was also very good value for money. We had some guests with special diet requirements to which the hotel dealt with by offering alternatives without batting an eye.
We would recommend The Bedford Hotel to anyone looking to get married or hold an event they will make the day go better than you could imagine. We will be popping into the Hotel with a gift to offer a small thank you for all they have done for us.The Bedford Hotel's reply:

Perfect venue and excellent wedding day, the day went so smoothly without no issues thanks with the help of Kay and Hannah from Bedford. Thank you so much I will never forget this day.
