Fantastic woodland Venue!

From our first walk around at The Dreys, we knew this was the venue for our wedding. Jackie and Dave have gone above and beyond to create a hidden gem. As you walk through the woods you are blown away by what you see!
The space itself is perfect! Having a seperate dining room and dance floor is great so nobody has to be hurried out.
The woodlands themselves are beautiful! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.
Thank you again to Jackie and Dave! Great communication throughout, always willing to help, and just very nice people!

Truly unforgettable!

Honestly the most magical venue! If you want a venue with a lot of personality and fantastic staff then this is for you.

Our colourful outdoor festi wedding

We got married at The Dreys in July 24. When we first went to se the venue in January 23 we knew it was the one! It’s a magical venue that is stunningly beautiful with wet weather options if it rains on the day. Our guests loved the venue and the food was incredible by Invicta. The Dreys couldn’t do enough for us to make our day special and the Dolls who helped us coordinate before and on the day of our wedding were superb - they took care of everything on the day so we could just have fun!

May wedding at The Dreys

We loved The Dreys!! It was unique and unlike anywhere else we saw. We loved the fact that you could get, legally, married outside in the woods, that our friends and family could stay over and that there was so much space for our nieces and nephews to run about. We like a festival, good food and drink and countryside walks and The Dreys gave us everything.

We liked the fact that we could add as much, or in our case, as little, to the venue and it would look amazing. Lots of the venues we looked at needed us to make decisions about decor and to hire stuff in and we just wouldn't have known where to...

We loved The Dreys!! It was unique and unlike anywhere else we saw. We loved the fact that you could get, legally, married outside in the woods, that our friends and family could stay over and that there was so much space for our nieces and nephews to run about. We like a festival, good food and drink and countryside walks and The Dreys gave us everything.

We liked the fact that we could add as much, or in our case, as little, to the venue and it would look amazing. Lots of the venues we looked at needed us to make decisions about decor and to hire stuff in and we just wouldn't have known where to start. Having a venue like the Dreys where everything was so good that it just needed some tiny personal touches.
Another thing we loved was the food - again, not having to think about different suppliers was just what we needed and the food was amazing! We had platters and loved that communal laid back approach - we didn't want stuffy plated service. I'm a vegetarian and the veggie options certainly didn't feel like second best.
The venue also came with wedding organisers who were invaluable and made the planning effortless (for us) and ran everything so brilliantly on the day.
Another reason we chose the venue was the wet weather alternative was also wonderful, which was a good job as the weather was horrific - but the team dealt with it all so brilliantly that it didn't impact on the day.
We had such a brilliant day and so many people have said how brilliant it was - the only slight drawback was, as well as the rain, it was a freezing cold day (the day after I got sunburnt - the british summer) but we all still had fun!

Our wedding 5th June 2021

Wow.. where do we start!!!
We was lucky enough to get finally married at The Dreys on 5th June 2021 after many cancellations due to the lockdowns / COVID restrictions.
It was totally worth the wait!

We got engaged in December 2017 and found The Dreys at the beginning of 2018 after searching “woodland venue” on Google. This was our first venue to view and our last because it ended up to be everything we wanted.

We booked our wedding day for 29th May 2020.
From 2018 we got to know the venue owner Jackie really well, we had countless phone calls and meetings whilst we was planning our big day.
Suddenly Covid hit in March 2020...

We was lucky enough to get finally married at The Dreys on 5th June 2021 after many cancellations due to the lockdowns / COVID restrictions.
It was totally worth the wait!

We booked our wedding day for 29th May 2020.
From 2018 we got to know the venue owner Jackie really well, we had countless phone calls and meetings whilst we was planning our big day.
Suddenly Covid hit in March 2020 forcing us to cancel our wedding day. Jackie and the team couldn’t have been more helpful in this extremely stressful and upsetting situation.

Nothing was too much trouble, they booked us in as many new provisional dates possible to make sure we had lots of options and was there to talk to us and reassure us throughout.
No one could prepare us for the lengthy lockdowns that could then come forcing us to eventually re book 5th June 2021.

The year flew by and suddenly we was on top of June 2021 and finally about to get married!
Again after numerous calls with Jackie and the team we decided to go ahead with a 30 guest wedding.

We also got introduced to The Wedding Dolls, who were added onto our booking as part of the new package with The Dreys… and let me tell you they were a big added bonus!
The Dolls were so thorough and thoughtful with everything they did. I’m a bit of a control freak and I stress about things being perfect and all my little details being set out exactly how I wanted and envisioned them to be.
They listened and took notes and meetings and on the day got everything spot on. I couldn’t have done it better myself.

Jackie is one of the most kindest, selfless people I've ever met. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. Jackie allowed us to have the wedding day of our dreams and we’re so grateful for that.

The venue is out of this world! And has improved massively through the efforts of the owners since we first viewed it back in 2018. They have worked tirelessly through lockdown to keep adding to the venue so that us brides and grooms can have the perfect day after lockdown!
The improvements on the ceremony area with the toilets & floor extension worked so well.

We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather on our day but the venue are completely covered for all weather. They have a huge main marque and a drinks tent, the ceremony/ dance floor area is all sheltered.

Before the day I felt completely relaxed knowing that The Dreys and The Dolls had got everything coveted.
And on the day we was not disappointed in any way.
Nothing could have gone better, the venue looked amazing, the guests all loved it.
Having a small intimate 30 person wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is huge but the way it’s laid out made us feel so together and like there somehow was 50 people.

The staff on the day went above and beyond for us and our guests. The bar staff and the morning breakfast ladies all couldn’t have done more or been friendlier.
In the evening the Gio and his bar staff went round and asked if guests needed blankets or drinks.
We was having photos and Gio brought us over some
Prosecco. They updated us on the money we put behind the bar and made sure drinks were flowing all
day and night!

Out of everything that’s happened recently with covid.. for this one day us and our 28 guests were allowed to feel truly happy and carefree.
The team had all COVID rules under control and hand sanitisers were at all the entrances.
Even though COVID rules had to be followed we didn’t feel restricted, and we feel the Dreys managed to somehow get that just right!!

We can’t recommend this venue enough, we’re so sad it’s all over but so extremely grateful for what we had.
Our wedding day wouldn’t have been what it was without The Dreys, Jackie, Kathleen & Natalie. Thank you all so much!! Cannot wait to visit in the future!! Mr & Mrs Baker xx

Every little detail was perfect!

We had our festival wedding / hand fasting here. It was the most magical venue to get married in.
Every little detail was perfect!
Superb for pictures the land/ area just keeps giving with its beauty.
It feels very private and secluded once you are there which we felt gave an extra special feel to the weekend.
We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

A breath taking venue

A breath taking venue. Thank you for ensuring that everything was in place and supported us bridesmaids.

The Dreys is a very special place

We are still on a high after our wedding at The Dreys back in April (appologies for the late review!). From the initial planning stage, Jackie and the team were absolutely fantastic and guided us (a pretty much clueless bride and groom to be) through the process in the most stress- free manner possible. In the final weeks, they managed to get the venue looking beautiful in spite of the snow delaying their preparations. Wen we arrived to see the venue in early April, we were thrilled to see the transformation into a georgous setting for our wedding; Jo did an amazing making the shelter and marquee look stunning, and the whole team made sure everything went smoothly. Had an amazing day and everyone enjoyed themselves

We had our wedding here in August and the Venue is beautiful. The staff on the day were brilliant at working round the rain. Nothing went to plan because of the weather but it really didn’t matter. Had an amazing day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
