  Our wedding day 27 September 2014

  After several memorable meals at The Gun, we decided to hold our wedding celebration there and were not disappointed. The food was, as expected, flawless, which was matched by the excellent, friendly service that we have come to expect. Our guests were equally impressed. Add to that the superb riverside views (and a stroke of luck with the weather) and I can honestly say that it was as close to perfect as we could have hoped.

  Our Wedding

  I don't know where to start really. We had such an amazing day and everything about The Gun was exceptional. I was an event organiser and can not recall any event where guests came up to me to tell me how fabulous the staff were but lots of our wedding guests did just that. The service from Anna in the run up to the wedding was above and beyond. I would have driven myself mad and she just calmly and really efficiently did everything that was needed and everything that was asked. The food on the day was delicious and people are still telling me how great the canapés and the steak and Guinness pie was (and I loved the food too). The setting is stunning but the thing that really makes it an exceptional venue is the staff. So many people have said this was the best wedding they've ever been two - including one who'd been to two of his own! And I know I'm biased but I totally agree. The Bride.

  Wedding at the Gun

  We have just celebrated our wedding at the Gun and couldn't have asked for more!
  The venue was stunning and the Gin Garden had perfect views of the surrounding area.
  The food was fantastic and the staff were professional and helpful throughout.
  From start to finish Anna was on hand to support us with our planning of the day and to add those extra finishing touches.
  All our guests seemed to have an amazing time and we would highly recommend this venue to others for their wedding .

  Wonderful

  We loved our wedding reception at The Gun. The venue is really special with fantastic views, the food was perfect and the staff were amazing throughout. Everyone loved the canapes and bowls and the standing reception meant our guests mingled really well. Vanessa was really helpful and positive throughout and the staff on the day made everyone feel so welcome. Will be returning regularly to reminisce!

  Beautiful, unique London venue.

  My husband and I held our wedding reception at The Gun in June 2013. The venue was perfect, innovative use of space, steeped in history with a beautiful gin garden overlooking the Thames. The staff are superb, from the planning of the wedding with the events team to the attentive top-notch service on the day itself. The food almost upstaged the bride – succulent pork, rare slices of beef, figs with Parma ham and expertly cooked vegetables. The Gun accommodated all our needs – from a cake made of cheese, milk bottles on tables, chair decorations, to a dessert bar. Highly recommend The Gun as a venue.

  Amazing!!!!

  We had our civil partnership at the gun on the 13th Oct. I can not praise the staff at the gun enough. Vanessa who helped us organise it was amazing from start to end.
  
  The day run very very smoothly, with staff friendly and and attending to our every need. Glasses were kept toped up and guests looked after. Food was amazing with such attention to detail.
  
  All our friends were ‘wowed’ by the venue and the food and people have not stopped talking about the day... I wish we could do it all again!!
  
  I could not recommend the gun enough for a wedding or civil partnership

  Absolutely amazing!

  The Gun was the perfect place for our wedding reception. From the moment we booked the venue right up to our big day we were treated as if our celebration was the most important event ever.
  
  The staff are fabulous and made every effort to get to know us on each of our many pre reception visits (our choice - we would always be coming up with an excise to visit!), and by the time it got to our big day we felt like our reception was being hosted by old friends.
  
  Vanessa is amazing and never tired of responding to my endless emails and nothing was too much trouble. She was a constant source of help and support and dealt with every query with a smile.
  
  The Gun perfectly captured the atmosphere that we'd hoped to create for our guests. It was an extremely upmarket venue with superb food, service and ambience, without the formalities of a stuffy banqueting suite or stately home specialising in churning out endless weddings. It really is an exceptional place with exceptional staff and I cannot speak highly enough about it.
  
  If we could do it all over again we wouldn't change a single thing. Our only regret is that The Gun isn't close enough to be our local as even before our big day it had become a place that would always be extremely special to us, our family and friends.

  Amazing london wedding in every way

  The Gun is a must for a truly superb London wedding! The location is brilliant with fantastic views of the river from 2 outside terraces. You cannot beat this location for a relaxed London wedding! From the moment of our initial enquiry Vanessa couldn't do enough for us. She is nothing short of AMAZING! All emails are responded to very quickly and no question/request was too small or silly. No matter what we had in mind Vanessa was on the case with endless options. We changed our minds on what we wanted numerous times over the 15 months of planning and Vanessa would always change details with enthusiasm! She is so personable and makes you feel like you're the only event, when in reality she is busy working on the numerous events The Gun puts on. As for the actual day, what more could we ask for? The most delicious canapes, bowl food and BBQ EVER! Our guests drank and danced until the small hours on the deck and around the pub which was decorated beautifully. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Our guests have not stopped commenting on how amazing our wedding was and the delicious food. You simply can not find a better venue in London for the price we paid. This venue is a must whether your budget is small or large. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

  Tremendous!

  Thank you very much for ensuring we had a tremendous time on our wedding day. The service was excellent and all of our guests had a wonderful time and have commented on how well they were taken care of. It was a very special day with the perfect venue, exquisite food and of course the best beer so thank you all very much!

  Saturday was absolutely fantastic, and the Gun was a huge part of that. As soon as we got to The Gun in the afternoon, I knew that we could relax and have a great time, without having to worry about anything. Your help and organisation along the way, and on the day, was invaluable, and helped everything go so smoothly. We always knew the venue would be a hit, but the attentiveness of you and the other staff members, and the little touches really made the difference. Things like delaying the dinner to keep drinking in the sunshine (despite the fact this probably made more work for everyone), and the lady who brought Hannah, Lauren and her mum a glass of champagne while they were doing emergency dress repairs upstairs, really took the day to another level. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Gun to people, and a lot of people were planning to visit again.
