A truly magical wedding experience!

We greatly appreciated your professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish.

Our perfect day

Before even having the wedding tour we knew this was our dream venue but Kerri, Jonathan and all the staff really are the best at what they do to make sure you have the best day of your life.

No question or request was too much and all communication replied to promptly. The meeting the night before helps to settle any last minutes queries or nerves and helps with what to expect - this means on the day you are just left to enjoy it all without a worry!

I think the phone call to confirm the ceremony was to go ahead outside will be one of the best in my life. The staff are amazing and...

Nothing short of amazing.

We had a very short time to book a wedding as we noticed via Instagram that Inn on the lake weddings had a last minute cancellation in December on either the 9th or 16th so me and my partner went to look around it and met with Kerri to see what the package included. It was an amazing deal and We loved it and liked the slight alterations that came with the package deal. Therefore in April we booked our wedding for December. There was numerous emails sent backwards and forwards and we went to taste the menu by just going for a meal at Inn on the lake where we discussed more details and paid money off the...

They were able to give us recommendations for supplier's and were happy for us to use the ones we found. Fast forward to the night before John gave us a run down of how the day would go and if there’s anything we wanted to change add ect and allowed us to use the cold room for bits that we have brought for the wedding such as flowers cake signs ect.. the venue kept a very big surprise for us which they worked tirelessly to make it happen and we were super greatful for this and helping and allowing us to do that! They also worked with us despite it being mid storm weather as guests and ourselves were getting the venue soaked as we braved the weather for photos. They allowed us to see the wedding breakfast and ensured we were happy with the layout and asked my husband about the smaller details as I got ready in the morning, they kept us up to date with who was arriving via phone calls provided amazing room service for the bridal party as they got ready in the morning. I’ve had nothing but compliments about how tasty the wedding breakfast food was, they even kept our meals heated and to one side if we needed to go out and take photos. They listened and provided amazing service an example is I asked for more gravy and they provided it.
All of the staff were incredible and polite and would not do enough for you. Loved the way John would check in with his team and us to make sure everything was going smoothly and i would recommend this venue to anyone getting married it’s beautiful in all weathers, it’s accommodating and it was a delightful experience working with them to make our dream wedding come true.

April Wedding 2023

We chose Inn On The Lake for its location, classic but modern wedding aesthetic and that its dog and family friendly. Our day was perfect from start to finish. Jonathan and all the team ensured the day ran smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything other than having a great time.

Kerri & the admin team were fantastic. They provided a great service from our first visit to checking out after our wedding day. Wedding planning was fun and stress free for us, and this was because of the professional service IOTL provides. All the businesses and wedding suppliers in Cumbria are excellent at what they do with efficient communication, so if you aren't local...

The food was delicious and plentiful and the bars have great selection beers on. The venue is stunning inside and outside, and you have the option of treating your guests to a ride on a steam boat after your wedding breakfast. All our guests had a wonderful day and commented on how fabulous the venue is.

Thank you IOTL for the most wonderful day. We are so glad we chose you.

Fantastic wedding

The Inn on the Lake is just the most perfect wedding venue, the setting is fantastic and the staff are just phenomenal. Two members of staff I must mention are Kerri and Jonathan nothing was two much trouble and they both made the day completely seamless. They had all the little details in hand and just organised everything to perfection.

Having travelled from Suffolk with our guests travelling from all over the country it was great to hear all their reactions to the venue when they arrived and them completely understanding why we picked where we did. The views are just breathtaking weather it rain or shine there is nothing more that you could ask for from a venue.

Thank you The Inn on the lake for making our day just perfect.

Inn on the Lake has the most stunning location and incredible team which made our day perfect in every way. Kerri, Johnathan and their team did everything possible to make our day run smoothly and include all the special details we wanted from our day. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

THE best wedding venue, THE best team of staff

The best wedding venue with the most stunning surroundings and the best team of staff ever. Not a single thing went wrong or not quite to plan. Everything was as we wished for and nothing we asked was too much trouble. They are a credit to the beautiful venue and they made our day perfect. We got married at Inn on the Lake just over 2 weeks ago and we had the most wonderful day.

Everything was just perfect, from the bridal suite and the scenery, to the catering and service from the whole team.

Everyone there was super friendly and helped us feel at ease, (can be difficult when you've got a whole wedding coming up!) which made our experience so much more relaxing.
