A beautiful venue with wonderful, friendly staff

We looked at several venues on our wedding planning journey, and found a couple we really liked.
Then we looked at Master Builder's House.
There were quantifiable qualities that we liked, such as the spaces, large open room for the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Spacious yet cosy lounge with a warming fire and comfortable sofas, for people to chat and relax.
The outside space and views.
Lovely individual rooms, and plenty of accommodation for our family and friends to stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
But something else kept drawing us back.
We had a second look around on a cold, dull and rainy day, but as soon as we stepped into the hotel it felt like...

Then we looked at Master Builder's House.

Lovely individual rooms, and plenty of accommodation for our family and friends to stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
But something else kept drawing us back.
We had a second look around on a cold, dull and rainy day, but as soon as we stepped into the hotel it felt like walking into a hug.
The staff welcomed us into the lounge with a drink in front of the fire, the lights twinkled and it was so cosy.
As our wedding was planned for 1st November we knew this was the worst the weather could be and it would not affect our day at all.

Ana and Laura planned our day with us, supporting our choices and making suggestions.
They were always easy to contact and helpful.
They liaised with our venue dresser, registrar, florist, photographer, baker, magician, band and string quartet ensuring the whole day ran smoothly.

On our wedding day my hair and makeup artist was shown to my room to set up ready for me, and offered a drink.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The whole day flowed perfectly.
The meal was lovely and arrived in a timely fashion, we had a few people with allergies and they were catered for without any issues.
The evening buffet was tasty and plentiful.
When we went to our room we had a lovely surprise,a little bear waiting on our bed for us, it was wearing a vest embroidered with Master Builders House on the front,
What I didn't notice until I got home was that it had been personalised on the back with our names and wedding date.
We had a perfect day with 80 day guests and 120 in the evening, the whole team worked seamlessly to bring the day together.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. The venue looked beautiful, the food was lovely and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
We would whole heartedly recommend Master Builder's House.

Perfect intimate venue with amazing staff.

We didn’t go and see many wedding venue we knew almost instantly that The Master Builder’s House was the perfect venue for us. It was cozy and had the perfect autumnal vibe we were searching for. Ana and Laura were fantastic through the planning process and were really flexible in terms of making our day exactly what we wanted. They were really responsive and made us feel like our wedding was really important and not just one of a number of weddings they were hosting this year.
On the day the team were all fantastic it’s a really well oiled machine. Everything went so smoothly and was so stress free meaning we just got to enjoy our wedding...

Amazing venue!

We would thoroughly recommend the master builders as a wedding venue. Not only is the venue lovely and offers a picturesque setting and photo opportunities by the water it also has a variety of packages to suit budgets. We had loads of options to choose from and could create our ideal day! Laura (wedding coordinator) was amazing and helped us throughout with the help of Ana. Their knowledge and expertise was fundamental in the run up and they were also amazing on the day, coordinating suppliers and flow of our schedule. We loved that our guests could stay at the venue and we had space for most of the guests meaning we could extend our wedding by dining the...

Our Wedding Day

We had the most special day. The staff were amazing, well organised and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend you to hold your day at the Master Builders House Hotel. We had no stress on the day and everything was taken care of are of. All our guests said how much the love the venue.

Our Special Day

We had our wedding at the Master Builders in September and would highly recommend there. We were looking for a venue with character in a beautiful setting with an intimate feel and this venue was perfect. Laura and Ana were amazing to deal with leading up to our special day, helping us plan the day and letting us change the package they were offering to include different options we wanted. On the day the amazing Lizzie was in charge and with the help of Ashley made the day run smoothly so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. She kept me so relaxed and was so easy to deal with. The Master Builders is perfect for an intimate wedding in a beautiful setting. Emma & Alan

Our wedding - 9/8/24

We were lucky enough to have our evening wedding reception at a family barn, so wanted to have our ceremony and afternoon at The Master Builders, and they were so accommodating and happy to adapt their usual package to ensure our day was bespoke to us. The ceremony was perfect, with beautiful views across the Beaulieu river, and the afternoon was even better, with canapés and drinks in the garden. The staff looked after us all so well, ensuring we were fed well and our glasses were topped up. They were also extremely helpful in the lead up to the wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding!

Wedding at Master Builders Hotel

Beautiful venue, very flexible to our needs for our small intimate wedding.
Private lounge for drinks and private dining with excellent food options. We chose to have a la carte menu.
Wedding planners looked after us very well.

Service above and beyond for my special day

From our first guided tour we immediately made our mind up that The Master Builders would be our wedding venue. Laura and her staff were very professional. Constantly putting us at ease. Nothing was too much and had incredible patience. The venue was perfect for us. The weather was good on the day so last minute relocation to our ceremony under the oak tree in the garden made it very special. Thank you so much all the staff at The Master Builders. .

A unique hotel in a beautiful location offering exclusive use of the hotel for a wedding. The entire team at the Master Builders went above and beyond to make our wedding a fairy tale come true. Laura, the wedding co-ordinator, organised everything we wanted: we wanted our wedding ceremony under a Chuppah in the garden, to provide our guests with afternoon tea before the ceremony, we wanted several menu choices for guests for the wedding breakfast.
The food was wonderful. But what made it so special was the way the staff looked after us all. Unobtrusive, but there whenever we needed them. It was like being cared for by special friends.
