We had our wedding at the Old Barn in March 2024 and we couldn’t have wished for a better day. From our first meeting with Diane the year prior to the day everything was spectacular. Diane is a complete professional, extremely friendly organised and hard working, she worked closely with our suppliers making the weeks leading up to the wedding stress free. Throughout the planning she recommended some fantastic suppliers! The venue is beautiful in a lovely location it was the perfect size for our wedding of 80 day guests. The food was spectacular, I have been to a few weddings at other venues where the food is mediocre however the food on our day was superb, the roast beef and Yorkshire puddings were beautiful! All the staff at the old barn worked incredibly hard, always with a smile on their face and they couldn’t have done enough for us. Thankyou so much to everyone at the Old Barn for creating such a magnificent day for us, the only let down is we can’t do it every year!The Old Barn at Esholt's reply:

Our wedding at The Old Barn was absolutely fantastic could not recommend this venue enough. Diane was our wedding expert and she made sure our day went smoothly and with no hitches. Nothing was too much trouble and they are always up for new ideas. I had an Elvis impersonator at mine who sung during the ceremony and did 2 sets at night. The food choices are really good too. -

Couldn’t be happier!
The day was perfect! They have the best staff, such an amazing venue and the team just were the best! All our worries went out the window and the day ran so incredibly smoothly! They deserve all the praise and awards in the world! Thank you so much for making our day what it was! We will forever be grateful! Love you all!!!!! -

Diane was thorough and responsive from our first enquiry. We booked our wedding over 4 years in advance, so Diane was flexible in letting us reserve 2 weekends until we knew for definite. Communication was clear throughout and nothing was too much. The day ran incredibly smooth and we felt confident after our handover meeting the day before. Everyone enjoyed the day, commented on how beautiful the venue was, and loved the food. The venue was exactly what we needed and wanted for our 95 guests and was worth every penny. The driving range was a massive hit and such great fun for all our guests. The venue were accommodating of accessibility for guests, but also the band in the evening. We were able to have fireworks like we had always dreamed of too. -

Elsworth wedding October 2024
We knew we wanted to get married here from the moment we first went to view The Old Barn. The venue is perfect for what we wanted, from the decor, to the outdoor and indoor space. Diane has been amazing at following through with our wishes, telling us everything we needed to know about the venue itself, how the day was going to look, and any other questions we needed answering! This really put our minds at ease, knowing she had our best interests at heart, making sure everything ran smoothly on the day!
Our friends and family have all said how beautiful the venue was, the food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the space was perfect.
We also used the DJ recommend, he was absolutely brilliant! Catered to all ages, the dance floor was full the whole night, everyone had a boogie and the best time.
I’m so grateful to The Old Barn, for allowing us to have the most incredible day and making all our dreams come true.The Old Barn at Esholt's reply:

I don’t even know where to begin. From our first viewing of this venue the service has just been incredible. The entire team, Diane in particular, are fantastic at what they do and made Deke and I feel at ease through the whole process. We had viewed a handful of venues and can truly say The Old Barn just blew the others completely out of the water. In terms of value for money it is second to none. The whole vibe of the venue, cosy, intimate, barn feel, it was just beautiful. The food was fantastic and all of our guests were nothing but complimentary. The Old Barn were also extremely flexible catering to our third party decorators and singers needs and we even had a Photo Booth set up in the evening which I had forgot to make them aware of until the guy showed up!! Even still, this was no problem for the staff - they worked so professionally the entire day. We are so sad this chapter of our lives has closed and although we are so excited to begin our new chapter as a married couple we will always be a little bit sad that we don’t get to re live the day again. We also used the resident DJ who was fantastic, it was a long tiring day and he kept the mood high and fun well into the evening. The Old Barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we are so thankful to the entire team for all of their hard work. - Lily & Deke Furniss -

We booked The Old Barn really quickly after seeing the venue, as we knew it was perfect for our DIY, close family and friends wedding.
Diane and the team were so flexible and supportive of our different ideas, and we're incredibly professional and helpful in bringing it all to life.
We had a really specific sense of how we wanted our day to look and they were really flexible so that we could have our dream day. We asked them to make some changes to their catering offer, so that we could have a family style meal and they executed this beautifully. The BBQ and desserts were phenomenal, as was the evening buffet.
The only thing we sourced externally were the chairs as we had a particular vision for our decor, but otherwise The Old Barn was perfectly equipped to deliver our day.
We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed venue for their wedding day.The Old Barn at Esholt's reply:

Well what can I say. Diane and the team are just AMAZING . My wedding was the perfect day and my Husband and I couldn't have wished for anything more from the venue and staff.
The venue was amazing and decorated beyond our expectations and the turn around and food was second to none. I have had nothing but complements from all my wedding guests, its the best wedding they have ever been to.
I wish I could do it all again as the day went far too quick and I would like to take it all in slow motion.

We recently got married at the Old Barn and what a cracking little venue it is. From start to finish Diane and Harriet were brilliant.
Answered all our questions and catered for our needs. The venue set up was spot on and looked beautiful. The biggest positive I would say is value for money, no other place without spending double allowed us to give our guests a choice of what food they wanted. The drinks packages were well priced and we even had the option of adding tokens on for the driving range for our guests whilst we were busy taking pictures. Fantastic little place 👌🏽would highly recommend!The Old Barn at Esholt's reply:

We had our amazing special day on Saturday 10th August at The Old Barn at Esholt. Diane and the team were absolutely amazing we couldn’t fault them one bit. The way they made everything so easy and stress free. The quality of food for the price we paid was amazing, all of our guests loved and food especially the desserts.
