We chose to have our wedding at The Ravenswood. In fact, it was the first and only venue we looked at. We fell in love with it right away. The grounds and building were simply stunning - bursting with character.
In the build-up to our big day, the staff and Molly, our wedding coordinator, were extremely attentive. They dived into the details when needed. Everything was done in a timely fashion and they were always on hand to answer our questions, however trivial. I can’t recall any real hitches.
Our wedding day was our vision brought to life. The ceremony ran smoothly. We were lucky to have chosen a dry Winters day which allowed us to get some beautiful couple shots around the grounds. We were blown away by the stunning backdrops, before heading back inside for a wonderful dinner service. The food was hearty and tasty. Nobody left hungry! All of our guests, both daytime and reception, commented on the charming architecture. Adding how much they enjoyed themselves. As for the hospitality, the Honeymoon suite was excellent value for money.
I’d 100% recommend the Ravenswood to any couple! -

We had the most amazing experience, nothing was too much trouble and we had the most perfect day! Our coordinator Molly took care of everything, from our pre-meet and sorting all the details, to being everywhere we needed on our actual day. We chose the venue for the way they do their pricing (all inclusive package with no hidden costs) combined with the stunning scenery and rooms. Food was amazing, and so much of it, no one went hungry! They catered well for our guests, and groom, with multiple food allergies, and they even have gluten free beer which was a winner! The only downside is that everything was over so quickly! We cannot thank the Ravenswood team enough for giving us the best day we could have hoped for! -

From viewing The Ravenswood through to booking the venue and then our wedding EVERYTHING was a smooth and hugely enjoyable experience. Nothing was ever too much. Dawn our wedding coordinator was outstanding. She took care of all the fine details on the day and made sure we were well fed and watered. We had a problem and stress free wedding because the staff at the Ravenswood have perfected their craft. The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful and we have the BEST wedding photos. -

Perfection
I will recommend Ravenswood until my last breath!!
The location is STUNNING and I don’t just mean the beautiful outside grounds - every inch of the venue is beautiful - even the toilets are gorgeous!!
From your first visit/booking to planning to your big day to even after your big day the service, customer service and professionalism is brilliant and always spot on. You have your own wedding coordinator who helps with EVERYTHING on the lead up to your day and is like your personal assistant on your wedding day - making it go so smoothly.
You never have anything to worry about. If you’re thinking about Ravenswood then I say go for it, you won’t regret it! -

My husband and I got married there last week (Dec 4th) and it really was the most special day of our lives! From start to finish it was smooth and enjoyable thanks to the help of all the staff at the Ravenswood, especially Natalie our wedding coordinator. If anyone was meant to do a job like that it's Natalie! She has the perfect mix of warmth with a friendly nature mixed with complete competence in arranging all the finer details!
The Ravenswood is the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever seen and all our family and friends were honestly blown away with it! The Ravenswood was perfect for our cosy, romantic Christmas wedding! The twinkling lights everywhere, the fireplaces, the old gorgeous grounds were some highlights for me.
All of our guests said how amazing the food was and we agreed! My mum, who can be hard to please was most delighted by the service and the meals that came out of hot plates.
The honeymoon suite was absolutely beautiful and amazing to have that included in the package and then to wake up and have breakfast with all our guests the following morning was the icing on the cake!
I cannot praise the Ravenswood enough and I wish we could do it all again!!!!
If you're considering this venue, I would say do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed!!! -

Best venue ever!
Wow, where do I start?
We had our special day Friday and from start to finish the team at the Ravenswood were fantastic.
It's hard to put into words how grateful I am. Especially to Katie our wedding planner, she was absolutely fantastic and really helped me a every step of the way.
Nothing was to big a ask and no question was silly for me to ask. She made us feel so relaxed throughout the whole process and on the day she was phenomenal!
The accommodations team were great with assisting me in booking rooms for my guests and helping collecting payments / sending reminders.
The food was amazing! We had a food tasting event prior to our day and the food was honestly delicious.
I just cannot thank The Ravenswood team enough, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The staff on the night were so friendly and really made the day.
We used their recommended events team Mulberry events to decorate and again the venue just looked incredible.
I could go on and on about how happy I am but I think you can tell! X

Dream wedding come true
From the moment we arrived at The Ravenswood for our viewing we have been obsessed with this venue.
We were meet by Ellie who showed us round the beautiful grounds and gorgeous building. We talked over what the day would look like from start to finish and we were sold.
At every point the team looked after us, being invited to a food tasting evening with drinks and entertainment. This was a great night showing us what it would look and feel like to be a guest at a wedding. It was then we were introduced to Katie our wedding coordinator. We can not express enough love and gratitude towards Katie, she is absolutely amazing. She made us feel at ease, and that nothing was too much. Anything and everything we were unsure of Katie had a solution for us. She gave us perfect suggestions from her wealth of experience and knowledge. She knew exactly what we wanted/needed to hear which took away any doubts we had and made us both feel reassured.
Katie recommend Fiona a harpist to play intro for our guest arrival as this was something we were unsure of. Fiona was just our cup of tea and recommended as Katie understood our style and taste. We also booked John Scofield Photography who has done many weddings at The Ravenswood, and together with Katie they made an incredible team. We can’t talk about how amazing everything was on the day enough, and this is all in credit to Katie and the team at The Ravenswood. Thank you so so much for giving us the magical wedding day we have both dreamed of, we wish we could do it all again. Forever grateful Mr & Mr Thatcher-Welham -

We knew as soon as we visited The Ravenswood that it was the Wedding venue for us! We had the most perfect day thanks to our wonderful Wedding planner and all the staff who went above and beyond to make it special for us. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Thank you -
