We recently had our wedding at Sancroft Barns and can't say enough good things! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that made for the most magical backdrop for our celebration and photos.
Jeremy and Rachael went above and beyond and were incredibly professional and accommodating throughout the planning, set up and on the day. Our guests cannot stop messaging saying how lovely they were and how great the venue was.
We are so grateful to have chosen Sancroft Barns for our wedding celebration and we highly recommend it to any couple searching for their dream location!The Sancroft Barns's reply:
We so loved hosting your wedding celebration party here - it certainly was different. Such a shame we couldn't have the Viking longship in our moat, but quite understand. And the people certainly made up for it - from Vikings, to (amazingly) pirates on the night. And Viking Yoga round the Wed-Shed coffee station in the morning was fantastic. So glad we could help making it such a memorable day, and thank you for the lovely review. -

Perfect venue, beautiful blank canvas
Having passed the sign for Sancroft Barns at least twice a day for six years we decided last sept to go and have a look, when we arrived I said to my then fiancée "no booking we are just looking" as this was the one & only venue we had viewed (still is). We were both blown away by the beauty of the barn and its settings, Jeremy was so welcoming chatting about our options and listening to our ideas, I think its safe to say we liked it, bearing in mind we had no date in our set,within 3 maybe 4 hours we had set a date, booked the registrar and venue. Over the following months we started planning our big day, in February of this year we along with some of our wedding party attended an open day at Sancroft Barns where we met Jeremy's wife Rachael who was just as welcoming & helpful as Jeremy, everyone was astounded with the venues beauty. As our special day fast approached us we arranged times for set up etc, again Jeremy was very accommodating.
Wedding day arrived and everything was perfect, we couldn't have wished for anywhere better!!!

We so enjoyed going along the journey with you both ... all the way to 'Highway to Hell' as your music going out of the ceremony Barn - fantastic! We loved seeing how the Barn and marquee were transformed into a purple fest - we had money on 'Purple Rain' as your last dance too, but lost that bet! All round it was lovely, everyone was so happy for you, and I'm really pleased you called, visited and booked on that day last year.
We have got a special place here at the Sancroft Barns, but we like to think it is very much your space for the day. After all it is your wedding day, not ours, but we do love making it all happen whether behind the scenes or front and centre!
All in all a great crowd, great music and thank you for the lovely review. -

My wife and I had the most perfect wedding reception at The Sancroft Barns. Jeremy and Rachel were the perfect venue hosts from start to finish, providing support, collaborating with our caterer, bar, sound engineer etc., and helping out on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and has all the amenities you could possibly need for a beautiful wedding. I would give 10 stars if I could.The Sancroft Barns's reply:

The most perfect wedding vendor.
How do I put 2 people into words that went above and beyond on the most special day..
From the moment we met with Jeremy he was warm, welcoming and amazingly informative. The moment we saw the venue and met Jeremy we were sold. We knew this is where we were going to marry. Every piece of communication was 10/10. Always willing to answer any questions any time of the day. His expertise helped us organise our day from providing well known vendors to ideas to All the small touches he knew where to guide you to make the most out of your day. The venue itself is just stunning. We opted for ceremony and reception in the barn and wedding breakfast in the marquee and it was beyond brilliant. I met Jeremy wife racheal the day before the wedding. We set up the day before and we ran through every single detail. There is nothing they wouldn't do for us to make it a memory we will never forget, racheal made sure my trail was perfectly laid before I walked to my future husband. They helped coordinate a smooth running day from the moment we got there. Their professionalism is above and beyond. Put our mind at ease and worked amazingly alongside all of our vendors. Made sure our glasses were full and that every detail was smooth running. I could go on and on about how special and fantastic they made our day snd there is nothing they wouldn't do for us literally. Details such as making sure our music was on point for all points of the day to walking down the aisle to the mingling post ceremony. I couldn't reccomend Jeremy and rachael more and I have any further future big events I wouldn't hesitate to contact them to provide the day. We were fortunate enough to celebrate our wedding at The Sancroft Barns in July, and we are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. A huge thank you to Jeremy, Rachael, and the entire team for providing such a stunning venue, flawless organisation, and incredible support throughout.
Despite living abroad and never having visited the venue in person before booking, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and we've been overwhelmed with positive feedback from our guests, with the beauty of the venue consistently praised.
We especially appreciate the hard work and flexibility of the team, especially during the initial planning stages when we were liaising on plans from thousands of miles away, and in the final preparations when we had to make last-minute changes due to the threat of rain. The change to host our ceremony outside the wind-sheltered 'Wed Shed' turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire wedding - we can't imagine having had such flexibility in other venues with less than 24 hours to go!
Our wedding was a vibrant blend of cultures, colours, and languages, and Jeremy and Rachael’s enthusiasm for embracing these unique elements was truly appreciated. Their willingness to follow YouTube instructions to prepare a Senegalese dish for our drum blessing ritual was especially impressive. I’m sure such details were never part of their original plans for The Barns, but you’d never know it from how seamlessly everything came together! :)
Thank you once again for making our special day truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team to help bring our vision to life!

We absolutely loved hosting your wedding celebration here; there were so many firsts: helping to arrange things from over 4 thousand miles away, a beautiful Wed Shed celebrant-led ceremony, talking to the groom in French (some of the time!), a lovely very local harpist/guitarist duo, learning Senegalese for the day (one word anyway!), Dad's speeches from a pallet, fabulous West African percussionist, making your Laakh from a You Tube video, more drumming ... and lots more besides. We try to make it all memorable for you, which I hope we achieved, but you also made it memorable for us. Come back and see us when you are in the country and Jërëjëf for the lovely review. -

The most fantastic venue
Where do we start with the Sancroft Barns and their team? From the moment we saw it we knew it was the place for our special day. From the history to the grounds to the team everything was perfect. We visited the venue multiple times before July and every time it got better and better. Jeremy and Rachel are exceptional owners and we can’t thank them enough. It felt like having two (extra organised) guests making sure everything ran smoothly. They never imposed or over stepped - they just took all our ideas and made them work. From start to finish they were incredible. The Sancroft barns was the most beautiful venue and we loved that we could make it our own. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and can’t express enough how much we adored every little thing. We will never be able to thank Jeremy and Rachel enough for making our day the best it could be!The Sancroft Barns's reply:

You had made our venue look absolutely stunning, from all the 250plus ribbon streamers up the drive, to the pink and orange colours everywhere, the marquee, everything in fact. Didn't know you had rainbow-soled shoes even, until we saw the lovely picture - lovely. The most beautiful venue in the world!
Wow – where do we even begin? We are tearing up writing this because The Sancroft Barns is the best venue in the world! There’s nothing more we need to say other than The Sancroft Barns is simply the most stunning venue there is. We knew from the moment we viewed it over a year and a half before our wedding that this venue had something special about it. The barn has so many small details which really help it to shine, such as exposed wooden beams in the walls, tracks in the floors from when it was a working barn and gigantic doors to let loads of natural light in. It is a relatively new venue, but please don’t let that put you off. Jeremy and Rachael were absolutely outstanding from start to finish and really went above and beyond every single step of the way. We were invited to every open day, had constant communication and were always welcomed with warm, open arms. We had a pre-wedding meeting close to the wedding date and ran through everything which really put our mind at ease. Now, the day before, day of and day after is where Jeremy and Rachael truly SHINED!! The day before, they were so incredibly helpful, they helped out where they could, but also allowed us to have time alone with our wedding party to take in everything before the big day. We had a thorough rehearsal of the ceremony which was incredibly helpful and also did one last run through of the entire venue and running of the day – we knew whatever happened after that Jeremy and Rachael would have everything in hand. They were so knowledgeable, giving us recommendations and really instilling the confidence in us that our vision for the perfect day was coming to life. We have not come across more selfless, kind and courteous people in a long long time – they truly do make you feel like the most important people in the world. Our wedding day was beyond perfection, from our ceremony in the paddock, to lawn games on the grounds, our wedding breakfast in the barn and dancing the night away… well… just about everywhere! Words can’t truly describe how much Jeremy and Rachael did for us, from calming us down before the ceremony, DJing the music throughout the day, getting guests hayfever tablets from their own home, moving furniture around for us, fishing out some super glue from their home to fix one of our pairs of sunglasses and even taking us back to our accommodation afterwards when our taxi didn’t turn up – they were incredible! We truly can’t thank them enough for everything, the most stunning hosts with the most incredible venue. Every single thing they did was so personal and you can tell they really put their all into making your day pure and utter perfection. Jeremy and Rachael were chatting with guests, laughing and crying along with us and honestly could’ve just been invited as members of the family because they fit in so well – we didn’t even realise all the hard work they were putting in behind the scenes, because they made it look so effortless. We viewed a few wedding venues before and none of them even come close to The Sancroft Barns, it truly is one of a kind and the fact you can make the entire space your own is so beautiful. The day after our wedding we came back to see they had taken everything down for us, something which we were not expecting at all, but was so so appreciated after being that exhausted. We had a wonderful chat and relived the day again and were sent out with big hugs and massive smiles on our faces. If you are thinking of viewing and booking The Sancroft Barns, please do. We wish we could relive our day there over and over, it can only be described as perfection – we are now just trying to convince everyone else to get married there so we can find an excuse to go back and enjoy again! The Sancroft Barns was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. Jeremy and Rachael are two of the friendliest, most helpful people we have ever met. Their attention to detail was impeccable meaning not a single thing was out of place on the day. They made sure to know of every little detail we imagined for the day and delivered on EVERYTHING + so much more! They didn’t stop the entire day but the smiles never left their faces, the other members of the team were also incredible! There is so much more I could say but really all I need to say is BOOK THIS VENUE; you will not be disappointed, they will exceed all of your expectations, their property and barn are picture perfect and you can tell they love what they do. I’m so glad we decided on this venue that was a little further away from home - forever grateful to you both Jeremy & Rachael, thank you from the both of us for giving us our dream wedding at your beautiful property!The Sancroft Barns's reply:

Thank you so much to Jeremy and Rachael and the team for helping us make our wedding day so special, everyone loved the venue and praised it so heavily and it was exactly what I was looking for for our wedding! The Sancroft Barn crew were so responsive and lovely during the planning process and made everything so smooth for us and our vendors. Everyone had a great time and was happy not to have to go too far after all the celebrations to get some sleep! Everything on offer from the venue itself was so useful, and being able to pick our own vendors made the day so special and unique to us!
