The most perfect wedding day!

Myself and my new husband have nothing but amazing things to say about The Venue!

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish, I had a vision of how we wanted everything to look and I can honestly say that it was more perfect than I could have imagined.

The whole process from viewing The Venue to planning meetings was so seamless and took away all the anxiety and stress from planning a wedding! Our coordinator Lucy was so amazing and kept in touch throughout the whole thing!

The day went without fault and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the setting, staff and the food.

If you’re thinking about The Venue for your wedding then we could not recommend it enough! It was truly a day we will never ever forget!

The best team ever!

We cannot recommend The Venue more highly for a rustic but modern feel. The different rooms of Bowers Mill allow space and flexibility to do whatever you want on your day. It is set on the stunning backdrop of Yorkshire fields with a small steam and gazebo outside. The team, especially Lucy our coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure planning was stressfree and everything ran smoothly on the day; we felt well looked after through the whole process. Also the onsite kitchen - just amazing! All our guests commended the food, it was delicious and a bit different to your average wedding food. They also allowed us to bring in external caterers for our Indian lunch meal...

What an amazing venue!

The place is stunning but the staff are even better! Quality people help to make anything in life better but these guys go above and beyond and couldn’t do anymore to ensure our day was perfect. From start to finish they were so accommodating and so polite and all the last minute changes were just dealt with without any hitches. Our day was perfect and it’s all down to the team - so thank you so much!

Truly wonderful

Without doubt a 5-star venue for weddings from our experience. We cannot thank all of the staff at The Venue enough, everything at our wedding in August was just how we hoped it would be and more. A special thanks to our coordinator Lydia. Everything about the whole process was wonderful; booking, liaison during planning, every bit of extra detail and effort on the day. Nothing was too much to ask and the place is just stunning. And the food… the food is amazing! We had so many comments on the venue, our guests loved it and could see why we fell in love with it. Played for weddings.

Having played in string quartets for weddings for almost 30 years… There are not many venues in the North of England where I have not been to play.

I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite venues. The setting is stunning, and the whole place exudes a warmth of welcome, absolutely made special by the staff. All who enter are made to feel like old friends, and everything from the architecture to the lighting (not to mention the stunning countryside surrounding!) makes any visit a special one.

The food is also absolutely mouth watering.

Go there to look around, and you will surely book to have your special day there!

Fantastic venue - June 22

We couldn't be happier with our choice of the venue for our wedding day. The venue was a mixture of romantic, relaxed and rustic atmosphere and suited our personalities down to the ground.

In the lead up to the day Fiona and Rebecca were extremely responsive to emails and phone calls from myself and my mum. Patiently answering endless questions about decor inventory, size of candles etc. We also really appreciated being able to set up some of the tables etc the afternoon before.

A favourite saying of the Groom on the day [much to the best man's annoyance] was "Don't worry, this isn't their first rodeo". I do think it is true. The service during the day was just so seamless and polished. We come from hospitality/event organising backgrounds so I think you notice the smaller details and know the effort which is put in.

we've spoken to a number of the guests who attended the wedding and the main comments have been about the quality of the food.
- Numerous wedding guests commented that it was the best food that they'd ever had at a wedding.
- another guest wants to know the recipe for the arrancini balls
- I'm told a friend's partner did not 'shut up' about the pork [main dish] for days.
other comments included
- it was the best wedding they had ever been too [they are married and have two grown up kids who are also married].
guests loved both the indoor and outside space. The spinning room was a romantic setting and the curtain divisions worked really well.
guest loved the theatrical reveals
- how well stocked the bar was. Plenty of bartenders behind the bar and people were not waiting for drinks.
- Bartenders seemed happy to be there and having a good time.

A superb venue for our special day!

We had our civil partnership ceremony and celebration at The Venue last weekend. They were fantastic throughout our whole planning process. We received regular communication and everything we asked for was done by The Venue. We had so many guests comment on how beautiful the space was and how amazing the food was! The whole team were great on the day and even last minute changes were dealt with wonderfully. We are so glad we chose The Venue for our celebration!

Amazing Venue! Definitely recommend.
