The Perfect Place for a Perfect Day!

We were so lucky to have had our special day at Tissington Hall a few weeks ago. Everything was absolutely beautiful and everyone at Tissington couldn’t have done more to make our day magical. Cat, Gabbie and the team were incredible throughout and made sure that everything was perfect for us. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests keep on commenting on how beautiful a setting it was. From our first viewing with Fiona to our big day, we were made to feel very welcome and knew throughout the planning process that we were in safe hands. Thank you all so much, it really was our perfect day!

We were so lucky to have had our special day at Tissington Hall a few weeks ago. Everything was absolutely beautiful and everyone at Tissington couldn’t have done more to make our day magical. Cat, Gabbie and the team were incredible throughout and made sure that everything was perfect for us. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests keep on commenting on how beautiful a setting it was. From our first viewing with Fiona to our big day, we were made to feel very welcome and knew throughout the planning process that we were in safe hands. Tissington Hall is the most beautiful venue with fantastic staff! Highly recommended!

We got married at Tissington Hall in September 2025 and we can’t thank the team enough! Right from the first day when Lady Fiona showed us around the hall, the team were warm and welcoming and wanted to make our wedding a truly personal experience. As our wedding was small and intimate, we were lucky enough to have our wedding breakfast in the dining room of the hall …a truly unique experience in a beautiful room steeped in history! We had sole use of the hall for the full day and the wonderful staff catered to our every need …nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank them enough! As our wedding was small and intimate, we were lucky enough to have our wedding breakfast in the dining room of the hall …a truly unique experience in a beautiful room steeped in history! We had sole use of the hall for the full day and the wonderful staff catered to our every need …nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank them enough! Our wedding guests stayed in the hall’s accommodation for the full weekend, most accommodation was in the hall and some in nearby cottages in the village. All the accommodation was superbly decorated to a high standard and catered to our guests every need. We held our evening reception the following night in the Carriage House. Again, the staff were superb, everything was done exactly as we wished and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t thank Catherine and the team enough for their professionalism from start to finish and of course to the Fitzherberts for allowing us use of their beautiful home. If you’re looking for a truly unique, personalised wedding in a beautiful location, Tissington Hall is for you! We highly recommend!

The perfect intimate wedding!

We had an incredible wedding day at Tissington Hall. From the day we viewed the hall, we knew this was the right venue for us. We had a very intimate wedding, and were very lucky in that we were able to use the family dining room in the hall for our wedding breakfast, which was very atmospheric and unique. We all felt so welcomed, all the staff are wonderful and particular thanks to Cat, who communicated so well and who was also amazingly helpful on the wedding day, ensuring our day ran smoothly. All our guests commented on how brilliant a venue it is, and how helpful staff were. It will always be a very special place, and somewhere...

Faultless - amazing venue and exceptional staff

We had our dream wedding at Tissington Hall. Not only are the Hall, carriage house and gardens stunning but the team behind the scenes are incredible. Cat (the wedding co-ordinator who is included in the price) was exceptional. She went above and beyond and was so responsive, making the whole wedding planning process enjoyable (rather than stressful!). We didn't have to worry about anything on the day. Everything was seemless and we were so well looked after (e.g. making sure we didn't miss out on the canapés when we were having our pictures taken!). Tissington don't churn out weddings and lots of thought is put in to the smallest details and making sure any ideas / plans you have...

Stunning venue with amazing people

Everyone at Tissington Hall were lovely from the day we went for a viewing to the day we had our wedding day.
Lady Fiona is really kind and pleasant, she showed us around and answered all our questions on our viewing day. The team communicated well during the process.
We dropped things off on Sunday before our wedding day and were greeted by Cat and Lady Fiona again and the hall was all ready for us to decorate, ran through what we were doing.
On our wedding day, Cat and Clare ensured the day run smoothly along with their team. We had a foggy weather, but we still had our best day and the team made that happened.
Absolutely stunning location with full access to the venue, first class staff and owners.

Fantastic April Wedding

What a venue! Having a close link to Tissington throughout our lives we were both set on Tissington Hall being the right wedding venue for us. From the first day we went to visit to the wedding day itself we were constantly wowed by its grandeur and history. Lady FitzHerbert was fantastic in helping us understand what was available and how we could plan the day giving us an outstanding list of vendors to use as well.
