The most amazing venue!

We had the most amazing wedding day back in April! The location and place is gorgeous - they have put so much work into the barns, bar, gardens and coutryards to make them all stunning. There is so much attention to detail and you really wouldn't need much decoration because it is already so beautiful.
All the people are amazing, friendly, helpful and super efficient! We are so grateful for the communication and understanding when it came to postponing our wedding day due to covid and in the lead up.
Finally the food was absolutely delicious, there are so many options to pick from and our guests (and us obviously!) loved it!
The day ran so smoothly! We could not have picked a better venue and we absolutely recommend Upwaltham Barns!!

We had the most amazing wedding day back in April! The location and place is gorgeous - they have put so much work into the barns, bar, gardens and coutryards to make them all stunning. There is so much attention to detail and you really wouldn't need much decoration because it is already so beautiful.
All the people are amazing, friendly, helpful and super efficient! We are so grateful for the communication and understanding when it came to postponing our wedding day due to covid and in the lead up.

A gorgeous day!

Thank you to everyone at Upwaltham Barns for helping make our day so special!

From start to finish, our wedding day was just perfect, everything ran so smoothly and we just had the best day ever!

From our first tour to the big day, everyone was so organised, efficient and helpful with our wedding planning.

The venue is just truly beautiful, all of our guests commented on how amazing it is and lots were saying it’s the best wedding venue they’ve been to! We were lucky to get married on a sunny, autumnal day but Upwaltham would be gorgeous even on a rainy day!

The staff were all so helpful on the day and attentive, ensuring all of our guests were happy, leaving us to enjoy our day stress free!

The food was a hit with our guests, it was delicious!

Staying in the Jasmine Cottage was really lovely, it’s so beautiful!

Nicola has always been onsite when we have visited and is always so warm and welcoming.

Thank you again for everything, we really had the best day!

Amazing venue and staff

This venue also has the catering and bar sorted as they are three separate businesses run by one family so makes it an all in one package and they all have amazing communication with each other. The location is stunning and the venue is very flexible with inside and outside areas, it’s rained most of my wedding and the venue accommodated this to the point where it wasn’t noticed. The staff are amazing and very attentive both before and during the day. Everything went without issue and they were able to accommodate requests. The meal was amazing and everyone complemented it, they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, this all happened seamlessly without any stress. The flooring in the barn works as a dance floor and we had a 4 piece band for the night. We stayed on site in the cottage overnight which is beautiful and had an amazing breakfast the next day. The staff packed everything away into boxes so the only thing to do the next day was to load up the car.

July wedding

We got married at Upwaltham in July and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we first went there we knew it was the perfect venue for us, everyone made us feel so welcome and it has a real family feel. The whole process of organising the wedding and the day itself was very smooth and stress free. We have had so many compliments about the food and the venue and cannot thank you enough! If we could do it all again we would!

Incredible

Absolutely beautiful venue! Everyone had the most amazing day. Upwaltham is ideally nestled in the South Downs and made for a really beautiful backdrop for our photos and videos.

A big thank you to the entire team for all their hard work throughout the last 2 years preparing for our wedding. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had. The morning of our wedding everything was set up with such precision and attention to details. There was always someone to assist whenever we needed anything.

The food and bespoke cocktails were absolutely incredible. We had so many compliments from everyone. They catered to all our guests special requirements and allergies which wasn’t an easy job!

If we could do the whole wedding again we would 100% do it at Upwaltham Barns!

Just perfect.

We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it but the real selling point with Upwaltham is the amazing staff. Chelsie and Late really took care of us. This team genuinely care and the whole process from start to end was professional and efficient. The front of house team, the managers, the owners and the catering staff … everyone was just amazing. We wish we could do it all again. Thank you thank you Upwaltham for providing us with memories that will last a lifetime. 💖

The perfect venue

We fell in love with Upwaltham Barns the moment we saw it. The venue is just beautiful; both barns ooze character, and the outside areas are perfect for guests to mingle, especially on a sunny day (which thankfully we were blessed with). The setting is perfect, nestled in hills of the south downs, which makes for some truly spectacular photographs.

But what makes Upwaltham Barns so special are the amazing staff. You really do feel like one of the family at Upwaltham, everyone was so friendly and genuinely invested in ensuring we had the perfect day. Andrea (Nibbles2Nosh) was just fantastic. We had several meetings with Andrea where we ran through the plan for the day, asked any questions we had (and we had a lot!) and discussed the many options available to us for the day. We never had any doubt in Andrea’s ability to ensure the day ran smoothly and that no details were left out. She really did make us feel comfortable, which meant we could enjoy the day without having to worry about anything. Stephen at the Stable Bar made sure the drinks were flowing, and really helped us select the perfect drinks for the wedding breakfast. Also a special mention to Alex, who was super helpful on the day. In fact all of the staff were excellent.

The food (provided by Nibbles2Nosh) was wonderful. We’d had a preview of the food at an event hosted by Upwaltham for all of the upcoming brides/grooms (a lovely touch), which really helped us to narrow down our choices. The kebabs in the evening were superb, and went down extremely well with the guests. The ice-cream bicycle was also a highlight. The bar has an excellent drinks selection, and that’s before looking at any of the optional extras.

Overall, we cant fault Upwaltham Barns. We really did have the perfect day, and it was made even more special by being at such a beautiful and welcoming venue. We cannot thank you enough!

Beautiful setting

We were both so happy with our day. The venue looked gorgeous and all the staff were so attentive and caring. The day ran so smoothly from start to finish so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of our guest were so complimentary of the food too!
There were lots of personal touches as it is a family run venue and we felt looked after the day of and the day following.
