  the best day of our lives

  we had a summer wedding July 2022. we had a garden ceremony.
  
  from the day of enquiry to the day of the wedding, the team were fantastic, nothing was a problem, they were so willing to arrange, or sort out everytging.
  We originally booked during covid but dates were moved due to health reasons, the team were more than happy to assist
  they are great for advice and guidance for recommendations of suppliers that are loyal to them and reasonably priced also.
  
  they were especially kind to my father who is in a wheelchair paralysed, Lionel one of the management team made sure a member of staff was always on hand helping him, to make the day as stress free for both of my parents, from the day before when they arrived to the moment they left with their luggage.
  Lionel also organised the party of 20+ guests (including children) staying the night before the wedding the marquee for us all to have our evening meal together next to the restaurant, which was so kind.
  
  the groom and i got ready separately in different areas of the hotel. i had a bridal team of 10 as did he, the wivenhoe team, were there continuously helping assisting and asking if we needed anything,
  
  i had a particular set up of my décor for my tables, sweet cart etc, and lisa the events manager knew exactly my style and had it done perfectly. she was there early before she was expected helping and organising going above and beyond what she was needed to do, to make our day perfect.
  
  the food was amazing, we had cocktails, canapes, wedding breakfast and the evening buffet, everyone was impressed with the high standard of food and service. (especially the guests who had special dietary requirements, who were very well looked after and felt like VIP’s)
  
  lisa was a rock to us she was always there wherever i needed her, and she made our day flawless and perfect!
  
  the reception team, were a great help, we had 20 rooms booked in the end, and i was constantly emailing for adding more and having a spreadsheet of who has booked etc.
  
  the management team and the staff are wonderful
  if we could afford it we would do it all over again a heartbeat! Was the happiest day of our lives, never stopped smiling or laughing x

  Amazing hosts for our wedding

  From the initial meeting through to the day of our wedding Louise and Phoebe were excellent.
  Nothing was too much trouble.
  In the day of the wedding they dressed the venue to the highest standard and were so attentive, even helping my daughter when her speech became so emotional.
  I cannot rate them high enough.
  Stunning venue with the highest level of service.
  Price was reasonable with so many extras included saving the stress of sorting discos and catering.
  1000% the best choice we made.
  Thank you Wivenhoe house for making our dream wedding come true.

  Dream come true

  Our wedding at wivenhoe house was everything we dreamed of!. The setting is beautiful and our wedding coordinator lisa, was just perfect. Price was very reasonable too! Amazing food and service :)

  Couldn’t be any better if they tried

  The wedding couldn’t have gone anymore amazing thanks to the team at Wivenhoe house. We was meant to get married in 2020, then 2021 and finally managed 2022. This was with massive support from the team also. The day went so amazing as they all went above and beyond for us.

  Winter wedding

  We got married nearly a year ago now 1/11/2019.
  Wivenhoe house is truest beautiful and it I feel should be higher on people’s list for a wedding venue. The house is beautiful and I loved my wedding day. Katie was perfect as a planner and listened to us completely even my husbands idea of llamas!! Which we didn’t follow through with. The price was amazing for what we got included!!
  The food was so great!! Especially the pudding and the evening buffet was the best I’d seen for the amount and selection. Would highly recommend the sliders. Overall I would give 10/10.

  Excellent experience, on our wedding day ,although is covid wedding we love most of it .

  I enjoyed most of it my wedding coordinator done well as well with all staff, room are clean decoration was lovely ,stunning areas ,food for my wedding breakfast is delicious all our guest ? love it ,we look after properly I highly recommend Wivenhoe house for wedding .

  Perfect day

  My husband and I got married here on the 30th June. We honestly couldn't have picked a better venue. We first visited this venue on a wedding open evening that they had, and it was incredibly busy. Yet, there was a member of staff on hand that could help and attend any questions/queries that we had. I'd spent a year planning our wedding, mainly with Katie Ballard. Her help and knowledge of wedding planning really was second to none. I'd never planned a wedding before so all of her help and guidance was very much appreciated. I had many visits to WHH throughout the year and each member of staff honestly couldn't do more for you. We did a menu tasting for our wedding day and was assisted by Ellie in the Brasserie. Her knowledge on all of the food options available was very impressive. The food was outstanding, we had 3 courses and 4 different dishes and each one was cooked and served to perfection. It's safe to say that Our wedding day was more than I could ever had imagined. It truly was perfect in every way and ran incredibly smoothly. Our guests also found the staff to be incredibly helpful and attentive, as they were helped with luggage, and allowing a few guests into their rooms a little earlier. I honestly couldn't recommend this venue enough. The house and grounds are breathtaking. And the staff are truly what make it the most wonderful, memorable experience.
