  We highly recommend York House!
  
  A massive thank you to Amelia and Ros for making our wedding day so special, setting up the venue so beautifully, for being so accommodating and organised - we could not have asked for a better team on our special day and it something we will also be grateful and cherish.
  
  Ros was beyond amazing on the day from checking if we were ok, helping with any issues, being so attentive and looking after us in every way possible. He really ensured our day went so smoothly and we cannot thank him enough - our day would not have been as perfect as it was if it wasn't for Ros.

  Gorgeous venue

  We were married in the winter garden at York house, the venue and particularly that room are absolutely stunning. The team who work at York house are all really lovely, special mention to Amelia and Franco! It is a really lovely room and the team are very relaxed which is exactly what you need when planning your wedding. We also booked out extra time to spend on the lovely terrace after the ceremony for photos and a toast.

  We were married in the winter garden at York house, the venue and particularly that room are absolutely stunning.   The Beautiful Winter Garden

  The staff at York house were fantastic, great communication and very helpful. The winter garden was a beautiful room which I would highly recommend. The access to the gardens after make beautiful pictures too!

  Simply the best!!!!

  Where do i start,,,
  The venue is beautiful and was perfect for our wedding day. The rooms are elegant and very functional, the building is beautiful and you have great access to the terrace and lovely garden for photo's. We decided to have our ceremony and reception all in the same place and that was very easy as Richmond Council have a registrar room in the same building. Our guests loved the venue!
  Whilst the venue was great....it was really the team who made our day special.....particularly Lara!! Lara, you are amazing and we cant thank you enough for everything you did to make our day special. You went WAY above and beyond to help us and we appreciate you sooooo much. They are very lucky to have you!
  To the rest of the team, we thank you all so much for everything you did - your genuine happiness for us and care for our day all played a huge part in making our day a success!

  Excellent service, very picturesque venue

  Amelia was excellent in helping us with the administrative side of things. She responded to e-mails very promptly and was always very helpful. Franco was also very helpful on the day. All our guests commented on how nice the venue was, we would recommend the Winter Garden where we had our ceremony.

  Winter Garden Room

  My wife and I absolutely adored this venue. Firstly, communication with staff was amazing during the planning process ( we live in America and have a 5 hour time difference). The Winter Garden room in particular was so stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. The other rooms are all delightfully unique and the members of staff are incredibly helpful in making sure that your room is set up to your specifications on the event day. The grounds are also beautiful and add so many different photograph opportunities as well. Overall I’m very thankful to have had my ceremony here and would highly recommend York House!!!

  Excellent venue to get married

  We got married in the winter garden at York House on 29th June 2024. I can't recommend this venue enough, the team at York house is exceptionally helpful and professional. They were extremely organised and helped us through the entire process without any stress. The venue looked amazing on the day and the photographs came out really nice as well.

  Marriage on 4 May 2024

  My husband and I got married in the Winter Garden at York House on 4 May, with planning starting in November 2023, from outside the UK. Amelia and the Halls team were a delight to work with. Incredibly responsive and proactive, they accommodated our visit ahead of the wedding whilst we were visiting from abroad, to understand how the ceremony would work, and be best prepared for the day. On the day of the ceremony, Ros was a very calming and efficient presence, and both us and our guests were absolutely delighted by the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend York House and the Halls team for any couple looking to get married or enter a civil partnership in the Richmond area!

  Beautiful place for a wedding ceremony

  Absolutely beautiful venue for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. The staff were so helpful and flexible both organising the day and on the day itself. We held our ceremony in the Winter Garden and it was perfect.

  Thank you Amelia!

  In such a short amount of time Amelia was able to make my dream engagement party come true. Every request was met with professionalism and rigour. I was able to have complete privacy (as i wear headscarf) for me and my party. During the evening the staff were so kind and helpful. The house holds such character and charm it was such a dream to be able to celebrate the start of my marriage there. A big thank you to Amelia who made this evening possible and to the helping staff on the day, and to Ros who did all the hard work and heavy lifting. Thank you!
