Nestled in the heart of Yorkshire's sprawling countryside, this romantic getaway is brimming with modern style and timeless sophistication. Facilities and Capacity
Rise Hall can provide the backdrop for intimate elopements and large-scale weddings. It has 31 individually styled bedrooms, offering guests a chance to experience a quintessential English country house with luxurious comforts. The Swift Bridal Suite is perfect for bridal preparations, boasting plenty of space for all the bridal party to get ready.
The property is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Morning Room, an elegant and light room with a stunning chandelier, original features, and views across the estate's manicured lawns. Your drinks reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the stunning period building for photographs. The Belvedere Hall, with its bespoke chandelier, where you can make your spectacular entrance down the cantilevered staircase, is perfect for guests to mingle and a lovely spot to have some wedding photographs taken. The spacious Gallery with its rotunda is also a feature room for guests to enjoy.
Services Offered
Once your booking of Rise Hall is confirmed, you'll be introduced to your dedicated Event Manager, who will be there throughout the run-up to your wedding to help you plan your special day. From choosing suppliers and finalising the seating plan, to advice on picking the perfect menu, they'll be on hand to make sure your wedding planning is as stress-free as possible. AMAZING from first visit to after the wedding!
We could not recommend Rise Hall more - absolutely EVERYTHING about the entire experience was beyond amazing. From our first visit we just got such a great feel for the place, everyone was so friendly, the venue is stunning inside and the grounds are beautiful.
Once we booked, the communication was perfect - we met Kim, our wedding coordinator, and she helped us so much, guided us when we were a bit lost/stressed, laughed with us along the way, gave friendly advice and genuinely became like one of our friends she was just so kind and helpful - nothing was ever too much! We also met Mollie, Kim's second, who was equally as amazing. By the end of the wedding, it felt like they were just part of our friends and family - always checking we were okay, if we needed anything, having a laugh with us and really making Rise Hall feel like our home for the weekend. Everyone else working there are just as lovely - it's such a gorgeous family feel. We didn't realise how important this was before booking Rise or before we got married but it made such a huge difference.
We had so many people comment on how amazing the venue was, how lovely everyone working there was, the delicious food, the way the day flowed through Rise Hall into all the different beautiful rooms. Family & friends staying at Rise Hall didn't want to leave; the breakfast was great, the Butler's Pantry and Games Room were popular rooms and added a bit of fun as well as helping it feel like our home.
We honestly cannot say enough positive things about Rise Hall. We also said that we are SO glad that we visited as it's even more incredible in person than it is on the photos. Quite a few of the bedrooms have been re-styled to modernise them which was lovely to see in person. If you're unsure whether to book a visit, you really have to!!

Book rise hall for a stress free perfect wedding day
Our wedding was everything we imagined and more at rise hall. The team at rise (in particular Kim) made it an incredibly stress free experience and both of us just wish we could relive it over and over again. Kim even managed to keep two live entertainment surprises from each of us sending us separate invoices and emails to keep it a surprise on the day. Sorry for the secrets Kim but it made for an amazing night.

Royalty standard service
What a venue. The hall, the grounds, the food, the accommodation and the staff were all fantastic.
The venue talks for itself. It only takes one visit to Rise hall and you’ll quickly realise this is the venue were you want to get married. Everything about the venue is special but I won’t go on about that too much as you can find that out for yourself when you visit.
The staff were second to none. Kim was our wedding organiser and she was brilliant. She is very experienced and put myself and my wife at ease the entire day.
The house staff on the day was excellent too. They offered a royalty standard dinner service and were so helpful to any request asked of them throughout the entire day.
The rooms are luxurious. We used 29 of the rooms and each one was just as nice as the other, each offering something unique to admire. Each room also had an amazing view of the grounds which was a lovely sight in the morning.
All in all, I couldn’t fault anything. It was slightly over our budget in the end but this was our wedding day and every extra penny we spent was well worth it as it was a day we will never forget.
I would also strongly advise you visit their wedding fair as that is where we found two of our suppliers; the videographer @poppingthebubbleproductions and the magician @richreynoldsmagician. Both were absolutely incredible too!

A fairy tale of a day
Rise Hall was a gorgeous venue inside and out. The hall was already decorated with fairy lights and the gorgeous interior, didn’t even need to add much else. It was so spacious but also at the same time it felt like home.
The service at Rise Hall was extremely professional and kind, Kim and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with my intense family from overseas the staff were so kind and understanding to any sudden ideas my family threw at them. Really appreciated Rise hall sorting any issues that came up, such as me forgetting to give someone a room. I did not have to worry about anything! They also worked seamlessly with the rest of the suppliers.
The food was delicious and the dinner went very smoothly. They catered to my family and friends who had different dietary requirements.
It was the most gorgeous venue I attended and most of my guests said it was one in a life time experience. It was so stunning. That day really felt like I was at home but also in a fairy tale.

Perfect venue and staff
Our experience with Rise Hall was outstanding, we cannot fault them in any way. Kim was amazing at helping our dream wedding come to life, from all the communication beforehand and on the day she was perfect, she felt more like a friend. Any issue or concern she helped with straight away. All our guests complimented how beautiful Rise Hall was, but also how good the whole day was, from the food to the staff and the accommodation too. We would highly recommend anyone in the area to book Rise Hall for their wedding, you wont be disappointed.

The best day, the best team.
We could go on for a long time about all the great things about Rise Hall and the Dine team but we’ll try and keep it brief. There’s a lot of planning that goes into a wedding and Dine are there to help every step of the way. Kim is particularly useful given most of us are first timers to planning a wedding! Thank you Kim! We think it’s clear from the rest of the reviews how organised, responsive and generally great the dine team is. But, the thing that made them exceptional to us was the service on the day. We cannot describe how friendly all the team were, every staff member that was there was keen and clearly proud of their job. They were efficient and ‘on it’. There was never a glass empty or a hungry guest. The place was immaculate even at the end of the night! If you want a job done well then these are the people. It’s a shame we only intend to marry once actually, as we know who we’d use next time!

Excellent day, service, very professional
Everyone commented about how much of an amazing day and venue we had at Rise hall. Staff were highly professional and organised and everything felt like a breeze. We even got gifted a beautiful chopping board with our wedding date and names engraved on after which was a lovely touch. Kim was our coordinator and she was very approachable and provided us with confidence that she will be overseeing things on the day. We only planned our wedding in 6 months which meant everything was a little more chaotic but we are pleased everything went perfectly!

Our wedding exceeded all my expectations!
There is so much we want to say, and for now it will be over email, but a huge thanks to you and the Dine team for the weekend. It exceeded all my expectations and vision for the day ten fold.
You as a person are truly phenomenal at what you do (& generally!) and I don't think I have ever known someone to be 3 steps ahead of me.

The most wonderful day!
The venue is simply stunning, the fact nearly all the guests can stay and that you can stay the evening before made the day so much less stressful!
The dine team made our day run smoothly, coordinated our suppliers on the day and were very attentive throughout.

Our dream wedding
Me and my now husband chose rise hall as our dream wedding venue with its incredible grounds, stunning interiors and how secluded it was, especially as it was the hire of the whole home, it meant we really felt as though none of the world existed outside of our wedding bliss.
Our experience of the day was absolutely incredible and we had the most magical day, the staff, food and drinks were amazing. Ourselves and our guests had the most amazing weekend and memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
There was some issues in the planning of the day and we both found our events planner quite abrupt, although she did meet our expectations for our day there was excess stress and upset caused leading up to the wedding. Such as hidden costs thrown at us as late as 3 weeks prior to the wedding and the way we were informed of this was not expected from such an esteemed company. Although we were really let down by this, it was our only downside.
Rise Hall will now forever have a special place in our hearts as where we began our new chapter as husband and wife.

Wedding Weekend at Rise Hall
We had the best wedding we could wish for at Rise Hall. It really is a very special place. It feels like a home but a rather large one. We had 70 people staying for the weekend with us and they loved it as much as us. The food was beautifully cooked and presented and everything was perfect. Kim is great she made the whole planning process really easy. Her team were really lovely too. We loved that there was a butlers kitchen for us to use which made things alot easier for our friends with children. The library is beautiful and at the end of the day we were able to sit and talk. The grounds were great for the children to play in, to sit and have a drink and perfect for photographs. The rooms are really comfortable and the hall is warm. The orangery where we had the wedding breakfast is absolutely stunning. The bar is delightful. We have amazing memories of a beautiful wedding at Rise Hall to take with us and we will never forget it. I would highly recommend this venue its amazing!

What a Day!
My partner and I fell in love with Rise Hall, having seen the TV series about its restoration some time ago. It was even more magical in reality when we went to view it and discuss our wedding plans. We had to put the event off twice, due to Covid, but eventually got to have our big day on 23/04/22. We had planned it to be like a house party, with no separate evening attendees so that everyone felt included from ceremony onwards until breakfast next day. Every one of our guests loved their allocated room and enjoyed the luxury feel of the house and gardens generally. The wedding breakfast was a delight and we had loads of favourable comments about the food and service. As a couple, we enjoyed the attentive but never intrusive presence of Kim Myers our Event Manager, who had everything under control (ably assisted by Darren) and was always where she was needed. She even coped calmly with one guest's asthmatic emergency in the wee small hours! In short, it was a truly memorable day, not just for us but for all of our guests who said that the whole experience had made them feel privileged and special. We can only thank the team again for all the effort they put into enhancing our day!
