Rockfield Barn provides a luxurious and secluded venue space for your wedding, located in the gorgeous hills of Monmouth, Monmouthshire, with panoramic views of the black mountains. It offers acres of beautiful land, stunning scenery, and over 10 years of wedding experience. We offer a bespoke service tailored exactly to your needs. Family-owned, Sam and Robin are always on hand to make your dreams a reality; we understand that these gatherings create memories to last a lifetime - you won't find a better team to run your day.

The building itself is steeped in character: a Victorian barn with modern comforts, huge airy windows, cosy underfloor heating, and an incredibly stocked (and brand new!) bar; we also have our own five-star house kitchen, perfect for hosting any type of wedding breakfast you choose. The barn is a light-filled, neutral space that lends itself to any colour scheme or theme you may have. The space can accommodate 80 people seated or 150 evening guests; our state-of-the-art sound and lighting system lends itself to amazing evening parties, whether you want a DJ or Band. We are fully licenced inside and out, so if you're dreaming of an outside wedding looking over the sprawling hills of South Wales, we can accommodate you. The floor-to-ceiling windows on either side lead from our carpark (with ample space for your guests to park) through to our courtyard garden, beautifully tendered to by our gardeners. Terrace by day or fire pit by night. The space can be transformed to suit whatever needs you may have.

Our highly experienced wedding team is here to help, from your first enquiry through to the last guest leaving on your big day. The team is delighted to offer their experience should you need ideas on how to decorate the space or if you have a special request but no idea how to enact it. We offer exclusive 3-day hire, no ushering you in and out the door; there will be no rush to decorate the space and ample time to take down your decorations the day after your wedding. Our venue manager will be on-site at all times to take care of your needs during your hire. We take time to cultivate relationships with our clients, and your experience is the most important thing to us here at Rockfield.

We also have our sister house, Croes Vaen, should you need accommodation for your guests or a space to get changed before your wedding. A tastefully remodelled grade 2 listed farmyard cottage comes with everything you might need—a games room, sauna, and hot tub—only a short drive away from the barn. It is located 15 minutes away from the bustling town of Monmouth and can sleep parties of up to 10 people.
