My wife and I got married at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in June 2024 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our special day. From the moment we laid eyes on the venue and met the wedding planning the team we knew this was the place we’d start our forever.

From that first meeting to the morning after our wedding the team at the royal Berkshire were nothing short of amazing, all of our guests commented on how they couldn’t do enough on the day.

The venue in itself is beautifully picturesque, our photos say it all, everyone loved the venue and enjoyed staying (we had large amounts of people staying and having exclusive option was perfect for us) we also stayed the night before with 50 of our guests for a pre wedding dinner so it was a whole weekend of fun, love and excitement at the royal Berkshire hotel. The food was truly amazing with amazing portions that everyone was well fed! The ability to change things we wanted with the menu was a great touch - no ask was to big!

I have to highlight Dominika our wedding coordinator, it would not have felt so personal without her, through her slick communication and care she showed us throughout the process we had 100% trust in her which is essential when planning a wedding, she made the whole process feel seamless and she genuinely felt part of the family by the end I can’t thank her and the whole team enough for making it the most special day,

Everyone had a great sleep as the rooms were very comfy (decently priced which was a selling point for us as we struggled with finding venues that had enough rooms for people to stay that weren’t astronomical but were also classic elegant and modern which the royal Berkshire did on each level!)

The wedding breakfast room is light and beautiful with light neutral carpets and curtains (I might be pedantic but I hate crazy coloured ones) we got married in the secret walled garden which was beautiful
The hog roast in the evening I’m told was amazing was enjoying myself too much I missed it lol! Also the ability to have fireworks was an amazing touch.

The last thing is that it’s dog friendly so we were able to have our puppy along for the day which was great too!
I wish we could get married again there a hundred times if we could it’s a truly special hidden gem where we will visit again and again it will hold a special place in our heart forever - if your thinking about booking do it NOW!

From the moment we first walked into Royal Berkshire to visit, to the moment we said goodbye the day after our wedding we, and all our guests were welcomed so warmly. We were listened to, guided and fabulously looked after, making our wedding exactly what we wanted. It’s a beautiful space, with lovely rooms and staff were keen to accommodate all our weird and wonderful requests to incorporate my husband’s Azeri culture too. It was a pleasure to visit again a year later with our first baby and most of the staff who looked after us were still there which I think speaks to the ‘family’ feeling of the hotel.

The venue is so amazing! We were lucky to have our wedding outside in the secert garden. It was the most magical day. The staff were so friendly and supportive. They always answered emails quickly and were always happy to arrange meetings.
We couldn't have asked for a better team in Dominika and Lydia. I was always phoning and emailing to explain my vision, they listened to everything and brought our vision to life.
On the day we ran into some issues but this was rectified so smoothly that no one would have known.
If I was to have a wedding again there would not be another place. We will definitely be back to the venue for other occasions.

Honestly, if I could do this all again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use the Royal Berkshire as a wedding venue. Set in beautiful stunning grounds, the hotel team work hard to create the most relaxed, homely yet stylish venue for your special day.

Both Dominika, Lydia (our wedding coordinator) and Sam, the food and beverage manager, made our day go without any hitches. Nothing was any trouble and it was the little touches throughout the day that they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day ever!

All our guests commented on the food and drinks and how wonderful and good quality everything was. No one was hungry, there was plenty to eat!

The grounds are stunning and make for fantastic photos. We were married in the walled garden and had organised a string quartet and it was simply classy, stylish and felt like we were in a secret garden yet very personal.

Dominika's organizational skills and attention to detail meant that we could relax and enjoy the planning process, knowing we were in safe hands.

On the day itself, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was out of this world! Our guests couldn't stop praising the delicious dishes and impeccable presentation. It's rare to find a venue that delivers both in terms of flavor and aesthetics, but the Royal Berkshire Hotel did just that. Each course was a delight, and the service was top-notch.

We came to visit The Royal Berkshire back in February 2020 before lockdown. We meet the lovely Evie and after that meeting we know we found the venue of our dreams!! And booked straight away!!

After lockdown staff had changed and we went through a couple of temporary wedding coordinators. I must say the communication was lacking and I found myself feeling very nervous and not sure who was looking after our big day.

Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and reassured that our wedding was in good hands.

The venue invited us to an open evening, where they had revamped the wedding space to update it, we were able to check out the new fresh rooms and try the delicious canapés.

Near the time of the wedding we did our menu tasting. We were given a choice of food and wines to try for the big day.

2 months away from the wedding, we was given our personal wedding coordinator for the day it’s self!! The lovely Lydia!! At first I was a little upset that Dominika was not going to look after the day it’s self! But we met with Lydia and fell in love!! She saw my vision my bible book!! And loved it!!

The Friday before the wedding we had are final handover with Lydia who was looking after the day of the wedding and Sam who was looking after the evening part of the wedding. The handover was perfect we went through all the details and was happy.

The wedding was a big success with no hiccups, Lydia was able to take everything from my wedding planner and make my vision come true.

We had the absolute perfect wedding day. We’d like to give a huge thanks to all the staff at Royal Berkshire, especially Dominika who made us feel at ease throughout and able to just relax and enjoy our day! We had quite a few different events and items to consider throughout the day, being a multi-cultural wedding and all our requests were accommodated and we were left to just enjoy the day as it unfolded.

We loved the grounds, the amazing trees, walled garden, roses and the stunning colours at every time of year that we visited the venue. We had just over 130 guests and the size of the venue was perfect for our needs. The overriding feeling of the day though was how much happiness there was in the air.

Dominika and all the team at Royal Berkshire made our wedding day so special. They accommodated all our requests and were the nicest at every interaction. The day of our wedding was perfect thanks to them, we could not have wished for more. The food was delicious, beverages kept flowing, the grounds are gorgeous, the staff make everything seem easy and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

The Royal Berkshire went the extra mile to ensure we had a spectacular day! We definitely gave them a challenge with some of our very non-standard requirements and every time we requested something it was met with a smile and a "let's figure out how we make this possible" attitude. The team were phenomenal in the lead up, putting up with a lot of questions from us and just as spectacular on our day - making sure we felt taken care of and special at every moment. Where do we begin? From the moment we enquired at the Royal Berkshire, we were blown away. The whole team are just there to please and help and I cannot fault them. From the show around process, to the organisation, to the actual day, I have no faults! The team were always on hand to answer any questions that we had or to support with our plans. The staff made us feel so at home every time we visited and always knew us by name/ when our wedding was.On the day, we were made to feel like royalty and there was no job that they couldn’t help us with. We are so grateful to all of the staff that made our day so special, we wish we could relive the whole experience again. Thank you all so much for making our dreams come true! I don’t even know where to start, we had our perfect day last week and everything from the very first time we came to look around to even the day after our wedding day the whole team at the Royal Berkshire were just incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so flexible and really listened to our vision and the attention to detail was second to none. The communication has always been great and on the day everything ran like clockwork. The food was AMAZING and the dinner service was great. All our guests even commented how great the breakfast was the next day. All the rooms are lovely and so comfortable and spacious. We honestly cannot recommend the Royal Berkshire enough for making our day so incredible.

100% recommend! We honestly cannot recommend Royal Berkshire Hotel enough. From our very first meeting with Dominika, we knew this was the venue for us. Even before we booked, Dominika and the team were always quick to answer any questions we had. Every time we visited the venue, we were greeted with a smile and everyone was so friendly. Before the wedding, we were invited to see the hotel after a refurb which was a lovely evening of drinks and canapés. The menu tasting was also amazing, all the food and wine were great, it was difficult to choose our final menu!

The staff at Royal Berkshire are second to none. Dominika and the wedding team made everything so easy for us and the whole wedding day went perfectly because of them. Also, the kitchen staff were so accommodating of various food allergies and intolerances our guests had, and everything was as delicious as the menu tasting, if not better!

We had our wedding reception at Royal Berkshire and it was amazing!! It is a lovely venue, with beautiful grounds and great photo opportunities!
Cheyenne in particular was so incredibly helpful from start to finish and particularly during a time of having to postpone due to covid! She was professional, very supportive in dealing with my constant emails and made the process of having to postpone as stress free as possible!
On the day itself, the team were very welcoming, helpful and did such a fantastic job in setting up the room. A lot of our guests commented on how beautiful it looked!

Royal Berkshire gave us the perfect wedding day! Our day was absolutely perfect and completely exceeded expectations because of how excellent the venue was. The staff were absolutely amazing – lots of guests have messaged us saying how lovely and helpful all the staff were. They have commented about how the wedding felt effortless – we couldn’t agree more!

We were delighted with the wedding breakfast room setup – extra touches like using the rose petals to scatter on the cake table and welcome table which is something we didn’t ask them to do. Guests have been raving about the food – we knew the food would be excellent from our tasting day, but wow it was even better on the day. The evening food was brilliant too. Our guests were so impressed by the beautiful grounds at the hotel, and said that the breakfast the morning of and after the wedding was very very good.

Dominika, the wedding manager, from the moment we met her, was absolutely amazing! – so organised, reassuring, adaptable, fun and she gave such great advice that really helped us with our planning. Planning a wedding at the Royal Berkshire has been such an enjoyable experience because of Dominika and her fantastic team. We really cannot speak highly enough of the staff there!
