Facilities and Capacity
RSA House provides a stunning backdrop to both ceremonies and receptions. Couples and their guests are sure to be delighted as they explore this spectacular property, with corridors filled with art and the aura of its rich history. The venue boasts a choice of elegant event spaces to suit the style of any couple. The Benjamin Franklin room can accommodate up to 150 guests for receptions. Boasting high ceilings embellished with a Troika chandelier, this room overlooks The Strand, providing a truly remarkable view as day turns to dusk. Couples who are hosting a larger event might prefer The Great Room, which can accommodate up to 220 people for ceremonies and 130 people for the wedding breakfast. This room is covered with incredible artwork and was the space where the celebrated Alexander Graham Bell first tested the telephone. Contemporary couples might opt to celebrate their day in The Vaults, which were once used as the building's wine cellar. This space features arched ceilings and exposed brick walls and offers a remarkable illustration of modern style in a historical setting.

We're thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new cocktail bar at RSA House! This stylish and vibrant space is perfect for hosting drinks receptions, offering a chic atmosphere where guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Absolutely fantastic!
What an incredible place and people to work with!! We had our wedding there 2 days ago and had the most amazing time!! The staff are truly professional and the best possible!! I cannot recommend it any more, it is the best decision in our life after the one to get married! Sarah was our venue coordinator and I feel like she is a very very close friend now! She helped us with everything on the day and beforehand! She is just the warmest, nicest person ever. She made everything not even easy but a pleasure to organise! The chef was fantastic, the food was just outstanding and waiters were so classy and professional!! I don't have the words to explain how much I recommend this place and the people there. They were all like a family! They were all so careful with us and so accommodating! We loved every second of our day there!

Surely the best London wedding venue
We recently got married at RSA House and could not be happier that we picked RSA as our venue. From day 1 communication was excellent, with a dedicated wedding co-ordinator on hand for all our questions. Even when our co-ordinator unfortunately couldn’t attend our wedding due to an emergency, the rest of the team swiftly picked up and ran the day to absolute perfection. It goes without saying that the venue itself is stunning - we particularly liked that you have different rooms for the ceremony, dinner and evening reception, meaning each room feels special and you don’t have to wait around whilst rooms are rearranged. The staff were absolutely incredible, with so many of our guests commenting on how great the service at dinner was. The food too was exceptional, with a large selection of interesting and unique dishes to pick from. We couldn’t fault RSA throughout the whole process and wish to thank everyone there who made our day so special.

The absolute best day
RSA blew us away when we first saw it and all our guests felt the same way on the day! What a day it was, the venue was perfect and the food was incredible. The Vaults are the best party spot!!

Style, class, history - the perfect venue
Our wedding day was perfect, thanks to The RSA. Firstly, of course the building is beautiful, every room we utilised has its own story and own character which made every element of the wedding different - we got so many comments on how the vaults was an amazing party space.
But most importantly, Amanda and the team were fantastic. Through the planning process Amanda was so helpful, answering every tiny question and always taking the time to talk through ideas we had. Every interaction was pleasant, easy and she remained a calm, kind voice throughout. It truly felt like she was passionate about us having the wedding we hoped for, and every request we had was met with positivity.
The whole team were amazing on the day, every member of staff was friendly and lovely, and the service during the breakfast was second to none. Clockwork. We also received so many comments on how delicious the food was, and it truly was.
After the wedding, we had countless comments on the venue, and all our photos look striking.
The Royal Society for Arts will always be a very special place to us in the heart of an incredible city.

Brilliant wedding venue
We had a fantastic experience getting married at the RSA house. The venue has so many amazing spaces which helped make each part of the day feel special in their own right. Amanda, the wedding planner, was very attentive and answered questions promptly throughout the planning process and on the day. Many of our guests commented on how great the venue was, with the party space in the vaults being a particular highlight. We had an unforgettable day and we are very much happy to have chosen the RSA for our wedding venue.

Beautiful venue, fantastic staff, dream wedding!
Firstly, RSA house as a venue is absolutely amazing. We fell in love with it from our first visit, and we had so many comments from guests about how amazing the contrast was going from reception drinks in the Benjamin Franklin room with its view of The Strand, the Wedding Breakfast in the Great Hall with its magnificent painting and then down to the Vaults for the evening celebrations.
The only thing to watch out for is that the linens provided as standard are quite creased - and there was no option to upgrade them, we had to pay to get different ones. Hopefully RSA change this in the future because it makes such a wonderful room (The Great Room) look a bit sloppy!
Secondly, I have to say the RSA House employees were amazing throughout. Unfortunately we don’t know most of their names but a name we do know is Amanda - who spent months helping us organise our wedding day and was there on the day itself to make sure everything ran smoothly - which it did! Everything ran to time, with minor hiccups being dealt with without fuss and the day really wasn’t stressful for us.
The catering staff on the day were brilliant, and we had multiple comments from guests (including the grouchy ones - sorry Dad) about how good the service was, how friendly and personal the servers were and we noticed this as a couple too - they weren’t remotely put out by us loitering by guests tables when they were trying to wait on them. Someone also appeared in front of us with a tray of canapés as soon as we arrived to the reception after taking photos, which was much appreciated.
When Natasha went to pick up some of our items on the following Monday morning, she was greeted by a flurry of compliments about the day, and even hugs! It’s clear that everyone involved really cares about providing a great experience in a way that you don’t see at many locations or events.
Thirdly and finally, a shout out to the chef, Darren, and his team because the food was excellent and again we had loads of compliments about it from our guests.
The only thing I would say is that the wine offered as standard in our wedding package was not very nice (in our opinion) and so we had to upgrade it, so I’d recommend that you bear that in mind when budgeting.
Overall, we couldn’t recommend RSA House any more as a beautiful venue for your special day that will wow your guests.

Elegant, Stylish Central London Venue!
RSA completely lived up to our (high!) expectations as an elegant, stylish, city wedding venue!
We had a lot of ideas of what we didn't want in a venue (read: fussy!) but knew RSA was the one for us as soon as we saw it. The fact that there were distinct spaces for different elements of the day was a huge selling point and the exposed brick, intimate yet party-style feel of the Vaults was the real clincher! A side note probably worth mentioning- you get exclusive hire of RSA so no risk of other guests from different weddings wandering in.
Both at our tasting and on the day, the food was very good, we got a lot of compliments on our chicken main in particular. Catering for 90 odd guests with different dietary requirements is never easy but the RSA team run a slick operation.
Our main contact, Silvia Casetti, was an absolute dream to work with, super-responsive, efficient, kind and fun! Silvia even decided to repurpose some mantelpiece flowers that we had in the drinks reception for the Vaults, arranging it all so beautifully that it was such a lovely surprise when we saw it - the sign of a true professional! She was fab at dealing with not only us but my dad too, helping him surprise us during his speech with a slide show of embarrassing photos!

Incredible venue for wedding!
We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at RSA house! From the first evening that we viewed the venue and met Silvia, we were in no doubt that it was the right venue for our wedding. Silvia and the team at RSA house were absolutely incredible. They were completely professional from day one and no question was too small. Silvia did an amazing job taking care of everything in the run-up to the big day. The tasting lunch was a highlight for us and the food was as incredible as we expected. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Again, we cannot recommend RSA house highly enough for any couple considering hosting their wedding at a central London venue. They went above and beyond at every stage and we just had the best day ever. Thank you again so much to Silvia and the team at RSA house!

The dream Central London wedding venue
RSA House is truly a rare find. Our brief was a central London venue where we could host our ceremony, reception and party until the early hours. After looking at a few hotels, we stumbled across RSA House and instantly knew it was the one.
It's such an incredible building, with several different beautiful rooms that made our 12-hour day feel like a few different celebrations in one. From the beautiful original interiors upstairs - including the breathtaking Great Room where we had dinner - to the subterranean Vaults area with exposed brickwork and multiple different areas for our guests to dance, drink or relax, the perfect place to continue the party late into the night.
Our amazing event coordinator Silvia was a dream to work with. She made everything effortless for us from start to finish, and her attention to detail was flawless. Everything went without a hitch from start to finish throughout the planning process and on the day itself. She liaised with all of our suppliers (including an acoustic duo, a 7-piece band, 2x DJ acts, a karaoke booth, a photo booth, a florist and a celebrant) to ensure all the setup was coordinated on the day and we didn't need to worry about a thing. The catering provided by the venue was also excellent, and the service we and our guests received throughout the day and night from the full RSA House team was wonderful.
We couldn't recommend RSA House enough for a truly unique and special wedding celebration. We wish we could do it all again!

Beautiful wedding venue with an amazing team
The RSA is more than one venue, we had the whole building exclusively for our November wedding and having access to such a variety of rooms was simply fantatsic. All of our guests loved the venue - from the beautiful Benjamin Franklin room for the ceremony, the airy Tavern room for drinks, the impressive Great Hall for the wedding breakfast to the party in the Vaults. We could not fault it. The food was amazing, a huge credit to Darren for creating restaurant worthy food for 80 plus people. Throughout the whole process Silvia has been wonderfully supportive, it is not easy to plan and re-plan a wedding during Covid but we felt that the whole team at RSA was on our side working with us and helping us to navigate the new normal. Olivia and Silvia are superstars and made the process stress-free. Everyone at RSA who was there on the day were utter professionals and so helpful to our guests, they made the whole day such a joy. In the words of one of our guests "everyone should have their wedding at the RSA"

Amazing RSA House
RSA House is a fantastic venue for your wedding and the team there, especially Olivia, are wonderful. Our wedding had to be postponed twice due to Covid and they were flexible and understanding throughout. Having had our big day now, our guests have raved about the venue, the food and what a unique space it is. It's such a treat to have the entire venue to yourself for the day meaning we could get ready, have our ceremony, dinner and evening party all in one space. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Absolutely Amazing!

Perfect venue for a London wedding
I do not even know where to start. Olivia, Laura and the team at RSA House are indescribable. Absolute professionals but also warm and wonderful people.
Olivia got us through the pandemic, the shifting of dates and is having to completely change the structure of our wedding. Her patience and kindness throughout the whole process was incredible. It felt like we were her only couple because she was so on it and across every detail. It was a shame she was on holiday for our big day but Laura was incredible. Dealing with any hiccups without me even knowing, it was all amazing and without them, I would not have had the best day of my life.
RSA House is a stunning venue and honestly perfect for anyone who wants a London wedding all in one place. The character and charm was unlike any other venue that we saw- it was perfect. Also, the RSA is a charity and that, for us, was the cherry on top.
A huge thank you to every single person involved in making our day happen. It was incredible ❤️❤️

Great Wedding Venue, Staff and Food
We know it hasn't been easy with the pandemic, but RSA made planning the wedding seem so flawless and smooth, especially at a time where we had to change venues and there was so much uncertainty in what was to become of our special day. We hardly had to worry about anything on your side of things! They were so on point with communication it never felt that we had to wait too long for a reply or update.
Staff at the venue were great, from greeting all the guests, following the COVID rules to keeping us updated on what was going on next and being so calm and collected. We loved the venue from when we saw the pictures and even more when we had a chance to visit in person. We know that although we were only allowed to have an intimate wedding, the venue didn't feel too big for us. The timing of the day was slick and didn't feel like we were lingering around for too long.
The food was lovely, tasty selection of canapés just enough not to fill us up for the great dinner that we were looking forward to later that evening. The worry that we didn't have a food tasting session beforehand went out of the window once the food started coming through, we had really positive feedback and the drinks kept on flowing!

Absolute dream wedding venue
My husband and I just got married at RSA last weekend, and it was such a dream come true.
Sarah has been phenomenal from day 1, super organised and detailed and welcoming and has been tremendous help to me the whole process. On the day she was super involved and had everything in order, so we had nothing to worry about! She goes above and beyond the scope of the usual venue coordinator, and we felt so at ease knowing she is there for us. I can tell that she genuinely enjoyed what she does and loves wedding and is having a great time, and such a positive bubble of energy to be around - I adore her!
The venue is stunning, and the food is amazing. All our guests were happy and well fed, which was my absolute number 1 priority. There is more space than you can actually use, and they let us utilise the spare rooms for storage, for a kids room, and even room for kids to sleep. We had our ceremony in Benjamin Franklin room, wedding breakfast in Great room and party in the Vault, and each room has such a unique vibe that is hard to tell we were in the same venue!
Overall we had an absolute blast, and would like to 100% recommend the RSA, and will forever look back with fond memories.
