we couldn’t have asked for anymore of the venue and the staff! Tom and I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in the running of our wedding, it was perfect from start to finish!

The venue looked absolutely amazing, the grounds were so clean and tidy and it was lovely to see the grass was still green and the flowers looking so fresh despite the long spell of hot weather we’ve had.

The reception staff were brilliant checking everyone in and so helpful to our guests. A special thank you to Judith and yourself for sorting out the query for us regarding the Windsor suite and other queries about rooms etc.

Thank you to the staff who drove our guests around the venue in the golf buggy, nothing was too much trouble for them and our guests really appreciated not having to walk up the hill in the heat.

The food was outstanding, we had so many comments about how nice the food was and how high quality the produce used was. It was all served piping hot and good sized portions. The Barbecue in the evening was amazing and it was lovely that we were given the option for our guests to enjoy eating it outside on the terrace. Please pass our compliments onto the chefs, we couldn’t fault anything!

A special thank you to Megan and Alex for ensuring our wedding day ran so smoothly. A special mention to Megan who was outstanding, she is a credit to Rutland Hall Hotel. From the moment I met her I knew our day was in safe hands, nothing was ever too much and she always made sure Tom and I were happy with everything and ran things by us but we never felt pestered. It was lovely to be able to just relax and enjoy our day knowing that Megan had everything in order. Also thank you the lovely the lady in the polka dot top (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) who also made our day run smoothly.

Thank you to the waiters and waitresses and the bar staff for their continuous service throughout the day, I can’t imagine it’s an easy task looking after so many people.

And last but not least thank you to you Juliet, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help us organise our wedding! I can’t imagine it’s easy to take over from someone else half way through but nothing was ever too much trouble and you were always on hand to answer our questions, I know there were a lot of them! You are a credit to the team and it was a pleasure working with you to achieve our dream day. I am so grateful for all of your hard work and pushing to get the Windsor suite open for us, it is truly a beautiful suite and the renovations of the whole venue are exceptional. All of our guests were so impressed with the rooms and views from the grounds.

From the bottom of our hearts thank you all so much! We look forward to coming back soon.

A beautiful venue with everything we needed - beautiful accommodation, venue where everything is in one building (amazingly convenient!), wonderful catering and a top notch team who conducted our wedding to go incredibly smoothly. The only drawback was having to work with approximately five different coordinators over a two year planning period - not sure if this was to do with the hotel changing hands or a complication of covid but we got there in the end! Huge thanks to Megan and Katy who made our day fantastic and Nicola who helped pull everything together.

We had our wedding reception at Rutland Hall at the start of November.

Firstly, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained with stunning views overlooking Rutland water.

Secondly the staff were so attentive and lovely and couldn't have done enough for us. Big thank you especially to Molly, Matt, Cameron and Megan for helping our day go so smoothly. We really enjoyed the food and our vegan guests even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had and wanted to recreate the pudding.

Thirdly, the room and tables were decorated beautifully and the room looked perfect.

All in all, we couldn't have asked for more and we had the best evening we could have hoped for.

It was great, just awesome. We are so thankful for everything you and the staff did for us to make our day marvellous. :)

We had our wedding party at Rutland Hall Hotel yesterday and everything was fantastic! Every meeting in the run up was great (thanks Kay & Grace!), the team were so flexible and accommodating with all of our ideas, our room was beyond amazing (thank you!), afternoon tea in the Apple Blossom Suite was yummy, Jack who took us around in the buggy was lovely, the Lakeview Suite was perfect, our hog roast buffet was spot on, breakfast good, Sunday roast the next day was great, and Megan who looked after us on the day was awesome in so many ways!!! In fact every member of staff we met was fantastic - great service all round by what came across as a very happy team!

I've planned a few big events in the past and the service we received from RHH was without doubt the best by a long way! All in an amazing hotel with gorgeous views. Sad it's all over!!
