Salomons Estate is a landmark wedding venue situated in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The elegant Victorian mansion is nestled amidst 36 acres of beautiful grounds, woodlands, and water features. Couples can celebrate their entire wedding journey at this stately home, surrounded by nature and immersed in classic refinement.
Facilities and Capacity
From outdoor ceremonies in summer to winter celebrations and last-minute weddings, Salomons Estate accommodates weddings of all kinds. There are several indoor and outdoor event spaces available for ceremonies and receptions, from intimate gatherings to large-scale affairs. You can say "I do" in one of five licensed ceremony sites before exploring the estate and manor house for stunning photo backdrops. Wedding breakfasts and evening receptions are held in your choice of function room. The Gold Room and The Conservatory are elegantly appointed spaces suitable for micro weddings of 65 or less. Larger soirées are hosted in Victoria Theatre with ample space for up to 220 for theceremony and wedding breakfast. The Drawing room can host 140 guests for the cereomy and 96 for the wedding breakfast. Exquisite drapes, ambient lighting, polished wooden furnishings, and timeless accents adorn each space at this historic venue. The South Facing Terrace holds 120 friends and family members and can be curated for outdoor occasions when the weather permits. Facilities at this location have expanded to include an outdoor pizza oven for rustic revelries, paella stations, and pop-up mobile gin bars. Other amenities and items provided at this location include crockery, glassware linens, an onsite dressing room for the wedding party and the option of exclusive venue hire.
Services Offered
The dedicated staff at Salomons Estate wishes to make your wedding vision come to life. A designated in-house wedding coordinator will assist you from start to finish. They offer bespoke services, including customizable packages and special requests. You can avail of a complimentary food and wine tasting before your big day to see for yourself the culinary delights on display. There are wedding packages to choose from, with everything from prosecco bars and gin bars to canapés and carved roasts available. You can also opt for a barbecue wedding package, designed for intimate parties of 50 people. The talented chefs design delicious dessert tables, sweetie carts, and more to conclude your wedding feast. There is ample onsite car parking for your guests and wedding suppliers.
Accommodation
Luxury accommodations are available on-site at Salomons Estate inlcuding the recently renovated Gatehouse that sleeps up to 12 guests with reserved car parking spaces. Our beautiful bridal cottage can sleep up to 6 guests, perfect for a pre-wedding celebration the night before. The cottage features a roll-top bath, a romantic courtyard, dining and lounge area, and private parking. There are also 47 bedrooms onsite for your guests' convenience. Newlyweds are treated to a complimentary overnight stay at this special destination and discounted rates for wedding guests.

A staple in Kent
Salomon's was the perfect place to have our wedding
We had many compliments about the quality of the food. Our suppliers even said it was the best meal they'd had while working! We did the Sharing Roast and having the guests in chef's hat to carve the roast was a very popular part of our day.
I can't compliment the events team at Salomon's enough. In the last month before the wedding, they were so responsive and went above and beyond. We had a few changes in staff on their side and changed our main coordinator but it had 0 impact to the quality of our day.
On the day, our coordinator Willow was exceptional - keeping the show running and making sure that everyone was well looked after.
We were beyond happy with our wedding and Salomon's will always hold a special place in our heart!

Outstanding Venue!
The food was amazing, and there was plenty of it. Great value for money as well.
The coordinators on the day and in the run up were super helpful and made everything run smoothly. We were as relaxed as we possibly could have been on the day and that was thanks to the team.
The grounds are lovely and made for some great photos. Bar service was great on the day as well and the guests were kept happy all day.

What a great venue for a wedding!
From looking around to the day itself the team were so friendly and answered any questions we had as soon as possible and made us feel like they actually cared.
The day itself was perfect and it was all down the the team working hard so we didn’t need to worry. On arrive the front of house manager welcomed us and made us feel very welcome and even said this is your house for the days which really put me at ease. The event team made sure we was all ok from start to finish and the rooms looked amazing. It was great to have different parts of our wedding in different parts of the venue as it made really interesting for our guests.
The food was outstanding and there was so much of it. No one was going away hungry at all.
We would highly recommend Salomons as a wedding venue. We got some amazing comments from our guests on how amazing the day was and how great the staff, venue and food was. If you are looking for somewhere great for your wedding this look no further.

Absolutely perfect venue.
The whole team are amazing to work with and when first visiting I felt so relaxed and at ease in their company - a lot of other venues felt very pushy in comparison looking back.
We absolutely loved that they had so many options in regards to food and drinks packages. We went for their bbq option which was perfect as we didn’t want a 3 course sit down, we wanted something a bit more relaxed. The food was delicious and everyone said they felt really full compared to some other weddings they’d been to!
The grounds themselves are stunning. We were so fortunate that we got married on the terrace, but the back up room inside was also beautiful if the weather hadn’t been on our side! We had our reception in the science theatre that is such a unique room and so beautiful.
Our wedding parties stayed the night before in the gatehouse and the bridal cottage, most of our wedding party also stayed the evening of the wedding in the hotel accommodation. This really extended our wedding celebration and I’m so grateful we could all stay on site in lovely accommodation.
I could go on and on for hours, but to summarise; the venue is not only stunning but is matched in amazing service.
