Facilities and Capacity

The traditional barn stands proud beside the peaceful lake and surrounding greenery. The oak beams and frame offer an authentic feel, while floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in. Sandhole Oak Barn is wonderfully versatile and can be divided into two parts for the different aspects of your day. Tie the knot in the Ceremony Barn with views of the lake in front of you and celebrate in the Dining Barn, which is idea for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions for 40 to 140 guests. The lakeside Dining Barn offers a cosy atmosphere in the colder months with underfloor heating. For something truly different, you could hold your ceremony outside under the majestic oak Clock Tower just a few feet from the lake. You and your guests can then take to the verandah overlooking the water with a glass of bubbly and delicious canapés to toast your newlywed status. In the winter, the barn provides plenty of space to mingle with your guests while still enjoying the stunning views through the windows. As well as exclusive use of the Oak Barn, you will also have the Small Barn to enjoy. This characterful space sits just a few metres away and is ideal for welcoming guests before your vows, entertaining younger guests, or for unwinding with your nearest and dearest at the end of the evening.

Offering a wide choice of mouth-watering menu options for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Exclusive use of the entire venue gives you access to the gorgeous bridal dressing room and Shepherd Hut from 9am as well as all 17 beautifully restored guestrooms onsite at Sandhole Farm B&B providing accommodation for up to 40 of your guests.
