The original Georgian house was constructed in the 1700s, with additional extensions added over the centuries. In 2014, Sewerby Hall was restored to Edwardian glory circa 1910 and features stunning antiques and decor from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Wedding ceremonies take place in the airy glass conservatory, which opens onto manicured lawns and lush gardens. The Orangery can be decorated to match each couple's tastes and theme. This airy botanical space has a capacity of 110 guests and is licensed for civil ceremonies. Afterwards, while you explore the grounds for photo ops with your love, guests can enjoy a drinks reception in front of the main house, or even take a trip on the decorated Land Train to the north promenade and cliff top during their time at Sewerby Hall.
