When selecting a wedding venue, the most important things for us were great food and a great band. The food at Shustoke is INCREDIBLE! Served generously feast-style so everyone can dig in and take as much as they want. All our guests commented on how amazing the lamb and the roast potatoes were. A guest with tricky dietary requirements commented on how much she loved her dessert, which she often finds difficult to enjoy when dining out. It was exactly what we had hoped for. We wanted lots of canapés too which went down a treat and the separate canapé board for us during the first look at the set up was a lovely opportunity to take a breath and enjoy a quiet moment together.

We had seen some venues that had strict noise limitations and knew that wasn’t going to work with our plans! No such issues with Shustoke, the dancefloor was full all night.

The team were very responsive to any queries and couldn’t have done more to ensure our day ran smoothly. The setting is beautiful, we had a November wedding and the candle light and fairy lights made it feel cosy and autumnal.

All in all, we had our dream wedding at Shustoke Barn and would highly recommmend.

We got married at shustoke on the 7th November 2024!!

The moment we stepped inside the beautiful venue we were mesmerised! The warmth of the walls that wrapped us as we toured the venue was just incredible!

The venue was a selling point but also so was the staff!! Becci, Emma, Kathryn, Ella & Holli were truly out of this world! Their commitment to us was unbelievable. From the onset the team welcomed us with open arms and guided us through every step of our wedding journey. The process was seamless and with the support of the team was so relaxing and enjoyable it made everything seem effortless is the most amazing way. It comes natural to the team at shustoke! The Day staff accommodated all our request and tended to ours needs, they could not be faulted one bit. The staff are just AMAZING.

The food was out of this world! Every single guest commented on the food, the quality, the portions sizes and presentation! The drink selection and wines were a great hit with everyone aswell!

My Husband & I, can not recommend this venue enough! They truly made us feel extra special and made every minute of our day extra special!

Shustoke Barn really was perfect! The staff, the food and all the little touches of the venue itself, we could not have asked for anything more.
We had so many compliments about the food, with so many guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Nothing was too much trouble and even little requests were met with ease.
Everyone always talks of the stresses of planning a wedding but I can honestly say that with Shustoke we had absolutely none. Communication was always clear and we knew exactly what to expect on the day and how are day would come together.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Shustoke Barn. The red-brick barn and courtyard is a beautiful setting that we instantly fell in love with. However, the stand-out thing about this venue is definitely the staff; from viewing and planning right through to the day itself. Emma was extremely kind and helpful, carefully planning our day and accommodating our personal touches. Kasey could not have been more organised, diligent and helpful as our on-the-day coordinator. All our dietary requirements, special requests and decor instructions were executed to perfection. Everything was taken care of so that we could just relax and enjoy our day, which we are so grateful for. All the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Every one of our guests commented on the food and excellent service by all the staff. There is honestly nothing we could fault about this venue. Late night pizzas on the dance floor were a huge hit and we had the best day ever!

We booked our wedding in January, and got married in June. Despite our short engagement the entire process was stress free thanks to the Shustoke team. The team of planners were incredibly organised, attentive and offer an amazing service which many other venues charge premium for. Our day ran smoothly and numerous family and friends commented on how helpful, polite and relaxed the staff were on the day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing, we got such lovely feedback from so many of our guests. I really can’t thank the team enough.

We had our wedding reception at Shustoke Barn on 7th June and it was fantastic. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and the staff were so accommodating that it was easy to create the right party vibe for us. The team at Shustoke are a well oiled machine and there wasn’t a moment that we didn’t trust that they would deliver a great day for us.

What can we say ! Shustoke and the team were amazing from start to finish.

We got married on the 14th July after Covid postponement. It truly was the perfect venue for us, casually sophisticated outstanding.

We have been to many weddings across the area but not at Shustoke and have to say it was the best one by far, no stuffy formality here.

The compliments we have had from all of our guests have blown us away. The food was amazing, the service from the team and Becci on the day meant we could totally enjoy every moment.

Shustoke we cannot fault you and would recommend you to anyone. Look no further for your ideal venue.

We got married at Shustoke Farm Barns on Saturday 26th February 2022. It may be a cliché, but it really was the most perfect day of our lives!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, both during the day and at night. We opted to have their indoor and outdoor decorations package, which made the venue even more breathtaking. The food is some of the best food we have ever eaten! All of our guests loved the canapés, main meal and evening food. We had a few dietary requirements and the venue were so accommodating - the vegetarian and vegan options are fantastic! If you book your wedding here, we would highly recommend booking a feast night. This gives you the opportunity to try some of the food before your wedding date. It is the perfect way to show off this beautiful venue to your families!

From the very first Zoom viewing in April 2020 and up until the day itself, all of the staff were incredibly helpful. No matter what our query was, Shustoke responded promptly with kindness and expert advice. Special mention to Kasey (who coordinated our planning meeting), Becci (our day coordinator), Lee (our evening coordinator) and all of the bar/waiting staff. All of them were fabulous and made the day run seamlessly. When we went back the next day to pick up our last few bits of decorations, the staff had relocated everything that belonged to us to one area of the barn to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind. They really do think of EVERYTHING.
