Sissons barn was absolutely amazing, Ben, Laura, Alex and the team stopped at nothing to make sure everything was right for us. It is such a beautiful venue and the perfect space for our wedding especially the decor of the barn without anything added is beautiful enough as it is!
Nothing was too much for the team and whatever ideas we had they were portrayed perfectly.
I simply cannot recommend sissons barn enough.

The staff at Sissons were fantastic from the get go. Not only are the grounds and the barn breath taking, the staff are faultless and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable within their venue. They listened to our hopes for our wedding day and completely allowed us to bring our vision to life. Ben, Laura and Alex felt like an extension of our family and friends by the time it came to the wedding day. They frequently checked in to offer their support which allowed us to create a lovely relationship with the,. They offer a fantastic evening of wine tasting to ensure we created a complete package for our special day. They ensured the day ran as we wanted it and calmed our nerves instantly. We felt that they were truly happy to be apart of our day and ensured everything was stress free and perfect for us. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are exceptional!

We had our wedding at Sissons Barn on 10th August 2024 after booking back in January 2021. Sissons was the only venue we looked at, as soon as we walked through the doors and met with Ben to show us around we knew it was the right place for us. With the choice of 3 areas to have the ceremony, an absolutely beautiful barn in equally gorgeous surroundings, we had a search online afterwards to find something to compare it to and nothing anywhere locally came close.

Ben, Laura and Alex were all fantastic, answering any questions we had along the planning stages, meeting with us on a couple of occasions to ensure they totally understood our requests and requirements for the day.
The day itself was perfect. Unknown to us, a few hiccups happened along the way, but Alex and Ben quickly solved these, only making us aware as absolutely necessary and when we had a chat after the event! They were on hand throughout the day ensuring that the day went smoothly and was enjoyed by all. We really had the best day ever with lots of really magical moments. Even the pack down was made a lot easier as Alex had asked prior to the event which things were ours and which were suppliers, so all of our things had been packed into the entrance way ready for us to collect the next morning without having to worry about taking these down.

We would 100% recommend for other couple's to use the venue. A gorgeous venue with a top class team running it!

We fell in love with Sissons from the moment we arrived at an open day event. Everything about the barn and grounds is stunning and is maintained to an impeccable standard.
Ben and the team were attentive and answered all of our questions after we booked, and were such a calming presence the day before the wedding when we were setting up.

We had an absolutely wonderful day at Sissons Barn! Ben, Alex, and the team were very professional and helpful. Their knowledge and attention to detail were a huge help throughout the entire process, from planning to the "I do".

Sissons is a picturesque Barn tucked away from the busy road to Peakirk.
Surrounded by meadows, a fresh cut lawn leads to a romantic corner with a huge willow tree, just one of the options given to whom ever the lucky couple are, to marry under.
This was our choice.
On the 4th July our wedding day gift was to see our wonderful family and friends truly enchanted by this beautiful hidden gem.
Following the ceremony you're lead onto the lawns infront of the most beautiful barn conversion.
Imagine, high ceilings, rustic timber finishes, oversized windows that frame the outside area perfectly.
As our guests drank Pimm's and ate delicious canapes there was this overwhelming feeling that we were being looked after.
Everyone was happy and excited but there was an incredible calm.
Our reception, the heartwarming speeches, cutting the cake, our first dance and the night long party that followed were all efficiently timed and very well organised without anyone really knowing. Small gestures such as handing my Aunt ( she's 89) a blanket and giving her a hug because she felt the cold and drawing on a plaster because our flower girl hurt her finger didn't go unoticed.

Our Caterer was Beetroot Catering. Keith went out of his way to make our menu totally out of this world it was to our preferences our style and what every couple could ever ask for.
Once we had eventually made our choices he invited us to his restaurant for an evening to taste it all .... sensational.
His attention to detail was second to none ..he listens and communicates, giving you confidence and excitement that your wedding breakfast will be everything you want it to be and more.

Ben and Laura hosted a wine tasting event, a lovely evening that gave us some surprising choices and it was so nice to meet other excited couples, no one drove that night!

From the day we decided to have our wedding here, Ben, his wife Laura and their coordinator Alex held my hand.
The communication between us was just so. Meetings were encouraged and if I felt I needed more, there is a very easy option on the website to book an appointment.
Overall an unbelievable, amazing day that will live with us forever.

Short version: Book your wedding here - It's a stunning venue with an amazing team.
By some miracle, we managed to find availability at Sisson's barn at less than 6 weeks' notice from the point of confirmation. On our first viewing, we fell in love with the place and were instantly convinced that this team would help us put together the wedding we wanted, even in the crazy timeframe, and they certainly delivered. Ben was incredibly helpful in many aspects of the wedding planning, from talking us through what we or they would need, up to and including helping us solve various problems that inevitably cropped up trying to get it all together in that time. They were very flexible and understanding, and we felt they were doing their best to make sure we got the day we wanted - it was our wedding day, not a carbon copy of some brochure, which mattered greatly to us.
The day itself was fantastic. The whole team was wonderful, we felt very looked after - as did our guests. Everything ran smoothly, the team took care of everything and we were free to enjoy our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding, at any notice, never mind such a short one. That stands saying again: We had the perfect wedding and Ben and his team had a huge part in that. The service given to us was beyond top tier, and both the venue and the staff couldn't be faulted. Scarlett (an extra point of contact for the day before and on the day) also went to great pains to help. These sentiments have been echoed to us over and again by all of our guests, who had a fantastic time.
It's also worth noting that we found the trusted suppliers list very helpful. They were, again, the best quality, very professional and lovely to boot. We can see why the team at Sissons work with the suppliers we met. They know what they're doing here. We can't recommend this venue highly enough and we're extremely grateful to the whole team for our day.

Sissons Barn is a stunning venue and we knew straight away it was perfect for us. From the moment we first visited, right through the lead up, the day and beyond we couldn't fault Ben and the team, nothing was too much trouble and communication was fantastic. We wanted a very relaxed feel to our day with none of the usual formalities such as speeches and they totally nailed it, making it look effortless. We honestly could not have chosen a more beautiful and special wedding venue. Ben, Scarlett and Laura were always on hand to help us with anything. We planned our wedding in under 4 months and I didn't once feel stressed with all the preparation because I knew that Sissons Barn had thought of everything, from their handy timeline we received when we booked the venue to the drinks tasting and always being on hand if we had any queries.
The venue is stunning and I know it took all of our breathes away on the day. We got married at Thorney Abbey and then went to Sissons for our wedding reception. The staff were ready for our guests with welcome drinks and there was not a moment that Ben and Laura stopped, they were everywhere, checking if we had everything we wanted and that our guests were happy. They are truely masters in their field and we felt so lucky that we had them with us to share our day.
The magical touches like the twinkling lights outside and the engraved leaf for their tree really did make it feel so unique.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail is flawless.
We got married in the willow room outside & it is just breathtaking. If the weather wasn’t so good we would have been more than happy inside in front of the forge.
You won’t find a venue as stunning as Sissons Barn in my opinion.
The team at Sissons, particularly Ben, Laura & Scarlett, are incredible. Anything you need they are there. Everyone is super friendly & helpful! Nothing is too much trouble, and everything is met with a smile & most importantly, humour!

Ben, Laura and their team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. From the initial meeting and viewing the venue, Ben was so warm and welcoming and the barn…we just fell in love. The barn is set in beautifully maintained grounds with the characteristics and charm of a traditional barn yet modernised.
