We were lucky enough to have our August wedding at Slaugham Place and couldn’t have been more happy with our choice of venue! From the moment we arrived, we knew Slaugham was exactly what we were looking for. Roman, Carolina and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and give advice when needed. We’re both lovers of fantasy and wanted somewhere that felt really magical and romantic, which Slaugham most certainly is. From the gorgeous moat bridge to the arches, to the generously sized marquee- our guests were completely blown away by how beautiful it was. There are endless hidden gems to discover while walking around- constant amazing backdrops for photos! Being able to stay in the cottage for our wedding night was fantastic as it’s on the grounds and has been beautifully decorated. Roman’s next-day breakfast was out of this world and eating on the lovely patio was such a brilliant way to start our first day as a married couple. We couldn’t recommend Slaugham Place more, it really has to be seen in person as it’s such a special venue. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding all we hoped for and more!

From day 1 when Carolina showed us around the venue to all the questions I asked her she always responded quickly and was very informative. Roman was outstanding nothing was too much trouble for him. Helping in any way he could. Everyone said how amazing the venue was, it really was so beautiful. I am so happy we chose slaugham place to get married, we will hold them special memories forever. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an outdoor wedding! The marquee was decorated so beautifully as well 10/10 still on cloud 9 now!

' We don't even know where to begin, if you are looking for heaven on earth this is quite literally it! Once we found Slaugham we knew our wedding would be everything we wanted it to be. Carolina is amazing, she helped us understand everything that would happen on the day, ensuring we had the most special day of our lives. The beauty of Slaugham is you have the space to add your own flairs to your day but also you don't necessarily need to. Carolina, Richard and their team have created the most beautiful space that doesn't require huge amounts of decorations or dressing because it is already an incredible haven. There are plenty of beautifully crafted nooks for you or your guests to have a romantic private moment and then the space opens up meaning that you and your wedding party don't have to be separated to all be together. Honestly we cannot get over how welcomed we felt by the Slaugham Team. The day before our wedding we hit some snagging with deliveries and the slaugham team were there helping us and being a beaming support. Carolina & Richard went above and beyond for us; from helping put out our lawn games, calming us both down, last minute cake decorating and training the wild geese to fly over as we were announced as husband and wife! Carolina also created the most beautiful bespoke flowers for us and our wedding party, including making sure that my dad's buttonhole was a red rose to match his kilt, unbelievably thoughtful and kind! Thoroughly recommend a stay in the cottage, which has been designed to perfection, the breakfast on the patio looking over the venue the morning after the wedding was an absolute highlight! Our guests have not stopped complimenting our venue choice! We will never be able to thank the Slaugham Team enough for the incredible day they helped us create. We honestly didn't want to leave. Slaugham Place exceeded on our vision for our special day… we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. We felt like royalty from beginning to end, Carolina was fantastic throughout the process. We felt safe in their hands. If we could do it all over again, we would still choose this amazing beautiful setting for our wedding.

We had our wedding at Slaugham Place, and it was absolutely perfect! The stunning ruins and gardens gave the whole day a magical feel, and our guests were blown away. Huge thanks to Carolina for the gorgeous flowers – they really brought everything to life. And Roman was amazing with all the logistics, making sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t recommend the place enough!

I organised a wedding party for my sister at Slaugham Place. It is a stunning venue with a beautiful marquee and we were lucky enough to have some sun on the day! Carolina was incredibly helpful throughout the planning stages and Roman was brilliant with organisation on the day and in the lead up to the event. Huge thank you to them both - they made organising the event so easy and I couldn't recommend this wonderful venue enough!

Let me start by saying the venue is gorgeous - a real hidden gem in Sussex. As soon as we went there and met Carolina, we knew we wanted to get married there. Our day was brilliant & the flowers were beautiful! Roman moved heaven and earth for us on the day, but we did have some organisation challenges which added stress. When we booked, we were told we’d be contacted before the day to assess whether we wanted to put the ceremony marquee up, we weren’t actually given that option & ended up having to put it up ourselves the night before the wedding (it’s a huge commercial marquee). Roman helped enormously, but it was a difficult situation the night before your wedding! The morning was also fairly stressful, where we were running late & my bridesmaids had to argue with the venue to be able alter their plans (getting changed in the bridal cottage didn’t seem a wild request). The 11pm music cut off is fairly brutal, as is the temporary barrier they’ve added to try and reduce the noise from the band. Overall I would definitely recommend getting married there, but I’d have a wedding planner to smooth things over!

Wow, wow, wow!!! Where do we even begin, what a venue!!! A true special gem that what the dream setting for our Wedding. Slaugham was the first venue we saw when we started the process, as soon as we arrived, we just knew this was the one. It is hard to describe how breath taking and unique this venue is; the setting of the old ruins surrounded by a moat is something quite special. Our guests are still commenting to this day how blown away they were on their arrival and how they have never seen anything quite like it. Our photographer and videographer described the venue as their dream to work at, guaranteed stunning photos of your special day. Carolina went above and beyond to assist us every step of the way; from the gorgeous flowers she grows on site to their flexibility in accommodating whatever we asked for. Carolina was a pleasure to work with and made everything less stressful and ensured the everything ran smoothly in the organisation. We could not recommend this venue more, 10/10 and we are so happy that we decided to celebrate our Wedding at such a joyous, beautiful, and memorable place. Thanks again for everything, Rose & Alex

After looking at a lot of wedding venues, we discovered Slaugham Place. We were looking for somewhere different for our special day that everyone would remember for all the right reasons, and we definitely found it here.
From the very first show around, when Tony told us the history of Slaugham, we felt really confident that we would have the wedding we wanted and fell in love with this gorgeous place. All the planning went like a dream, thanks to Tony and Chrystelle and their expertise. They thought of everything and made it really easy for us.
Getting married under the arches was like a dream come true. The location is stunning and very romantic and private. The photos don't do it justice and I would say go there and see it for yourself, it's amazing.
Our wedding marquee was beautiful and every member of staff was totally professional throughout the whole day. Nothing was too much trouble.
I cannot recommend Slaugham Place highly enough. The food was just delicious. We had canapés and fizz out on the lawns among the ruins before going into the marquee for our wedding meal. The plates of food looked stunning and the main course was piping hot with everyone being served really efficiently so no one was left waiting. Our package included all the drinks, too, which made it much easier and the quality of the wines was really good.
All our guests have commented on how delicious the food was. They also loved the venue.
It was quite simply a perfect day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Just looking at the place online makes me feel nostalgic and we keep trying to come up with another excuse to go back and do it all again!
