Solton Manor is a stunning and exclusive wedding venue located in rolling countryside near Dover in Kent. The estate is steeped in history and has a 1,000-year-old Grade II listed manor house, a converted Dutch Barn, Godric's gardens set in the ruins of an ancient church and The Dovecote Cottage. The Dutch Barn

The converted Dutch Barn has been specially design for the perfect wedding reception. Seating up to 200 guests, the stunning floor to ceiling windows give you a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. Exposed pillars and elegant draping from the double height celling create a sense of grandeur and magic. Our caterers will delight the tastebuds before our fully stocked bar, dance floor and inhouse sound system get the party started!

Godric's Garden

Godric's Garden is the perfect outdoor space to say I do. Steeped in history, the ancient church ruins and scenic views provide the perfect backdrop to the most important moments of your day. 200 guests can make their way through the enchanting gardens, taking in the perfectly manicured lawns and ornamental pond before they take a seat in front of the oak framed gazebo. After the ceremony, the gardens are perfect for those all-important group photos as well as intimate couple moments.

Accommodation

The 1,000-year-old Manor House has been lovingly restored to include incredible original features as well as a modern kitchen and bathrooms. With four-poster honeymoon suite and space to sleep up to 28 of your loved ones, it is the perfect place to relax and regroup after the celebrations. The Manor House can also be used for intimate weddings of up to 30 people in the Tudor Hall. Featuring inglenook fireplaces and exposed beams, you can say 'I Do' in historical elegance and then enjoy a private dining experience from our fantastic catering team.

The Dovecote Cottage, originally designed to house pigeons or doves is a contemporary, cosy retreat. A one night's stay in the cottage is included with our wedding packages which can be used either the night before or the night of your wedding. It's open plan living room, views over the ornamental pond and hot tub on the deck make for the most relaxing stay.
