An exclusive private location, it offers that perfect mix of luxury, elegance, style and grandeur - whilst never feeling intimidating or impersonal. Somerly is home to Lord and Lady Normanton and their family, so comfort and a warm welcome are always at the forefront of every guest’s experience, along with utmost privacy and meticulous attention to each detail. It can comfortably accommodate a wedding ceremony for 160 guests, a seated wedding breakfast for up to 140 guests and a drinks reception/evening party for up to 200 guests. Alternatively, the gardens make the perfect setting for a marquee reception for up to 200 guests. The House offers 9 large and beautifully appointed bedrooms with spectacular views of the surrounding gardens, woodland and rolling parkland for guests or family groups who wish to stay. An additional 12 guests can also stay within the Estate at a newly refurbished Georgian Farmhouse, named Ellingham Farmhouse, located only a 5-minute drive from the Main House.
