Farleigh House is a beautiful property nestled away. It's an unexpected gem that delighted our guests. The staff (Jojo and team) are consummate professionals. We feel SO lucky to have had our wedding here last week. Don't overlook this breathtaking space.

The white barn was magical! Ash (wedding planner) and his team made our day run smoothly, we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. All we had to do was enjoy and create memories! We used the white barn for catering, the food was absolutely lovely, we had so much they boxed it up for us/guest to take home! The venue itself is incredible! The barn is opened planned and so big. We used the upstairs area for the children, so they could chill, play board games. The grounds of the white barn- we got married in the meadow, big open area surrounded by fields, they also have the lake (across the road) we had pictures taken there. It's such a lovely venue. We will be visiting as much as we can to there cafe and grounds.

Wow! Where do I start?! We had the most amazing wedding reception at Old Oak Farm in October 2023. Rebecca, Andy and their team are just the loveliest people. They are friendly, professional, efficient, organised and creative. Communication is absolutely fantastic - I really felt that Rebecca and I were on the same page during the wedding planning process. Rebecca is full of great ideas and suggestions, and her amazing experience in and knowledge of the wedding industry is expansive and so helpful when planning your big day. We actually booked Old Oak Farm as our reception venue before the barn had even been constructed! But we weren't at all nervous about this - we had full confidence in Rebecca and Andy's vision, and oh, what a vision it has become! The lovely, big glass paneled doors let in so much gorgeous natural Somerset light, and offer expansive views across the breathtaking countryside. The barm has lovely, high ceilings which make it feel light and airy, but not echo-y and the building retains a cosy feel at all times of the day. The massive, gorgeous fireplace is a focal point and the perfect canvas for your own decor and creativity to run wild. The dancefloor (which doubles up as the indoor ceremony area) is a great size - it never looked empty during our reception, but at the same time you weren't crammed in. The barn is decorated beautifully in a rustic style. We added a few of our own touches decor wise, but honestly you could host an event in this barn just the way it is and it would look stunning. The bar is another stunning feature of the venue, and is very well stocked! Rebecca even ordered in some pumpkin spiced rum specially to suit the autumnal pumpkin theme of our wedding. Outside, the grounds are beautifully manicured, clean and tidy without being overdone. Plenty of parking for your guests, and a handful of quirky Shepherd's Huts as well which can be rented for the night by guests. I believe that during the summer the venue also allows guests to camp, but I am a little hazy on that detail so it would be worth double checking. There are loads of beautiful spots (both inside and out) that make for gorgeous photographs (and our amazing photographers, James and Kerrie of James and Kerrie Photography took full advantage of these!), including an amazing secret garden that is lit up at night! The front of house staff on the day were all amazing - all turned out very smartly, smiles on their faces and only too happy to help. The food was absolutely top-notch - fresh, local, seasonal and cooked beautifully. We had a few special dietary requirements amongst our guests and these were met and catered for with zero issues. Rebecca and Andy were very flexible about us bringing in a couple of external suppliers, such as ParTee Time Mini Golf, and a DJ, Ben Prescott, to provide entertainment for our guests, and a coach at the end of the night to transport guests back to nearby North Curry and Taunton. I could honestly go on for pages and pages about why this stunning venue is so special and incredible! But I'm just going to round it off by saying that my husband and I and our families were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the service received from the very first enquiry via email, all the way though to the morning after the wedding. You will not regret hosting your wedding here. If you are looking for a rustic, countryside feel to your big day, then please reach out to Rebecca - you will not be disappointed!

We had the best wedding ever at The Manor Holcombe! The place is gorgeous with stunning gardens that made our photos amazing. The staff were super friendly and made everything so easy for us. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the beautiful venue and delicious food. It was like a fairytale come true with a perfect mix of elegance and fun. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding day!

I was determined to have the cathedral suite for our wedding and I’m so glad we booked it. It’s a stunning suite which was a joy to get ready in for my wedding. Staff were super helpful and attentive, the food was delicious. My only issue was on the fact that the seating was a little low for my hair and makeup artist to work with - so I’d suggest brides ask for an extra chair in advance!

We celebrated our wedding at court farm June 2023 and it was a glorious location. Jess couldn’t have been more helpful in the months leading up to the big day with prompt and informative replies with helpful tips and recommendations. Logistics wise they are really well set up with water access and generator for suppliers. On the weekend itself we could utilise their ladders etc for setup and we’re a very friendly and calming presence. My family and bridesmaids stayed on site the night before and night of, it was such a welcoming and luxurious experience. The whole accommodation is excellently clean and decorated. We even enjoyed the new wood fired hot tub! Extra special thanks to Jess on the day for sprinting up to the field to distract the ponies so we could get some pictures in the enchanting field of golden flowers without them nibbling my dress. Fantastic wedding day held at the winter gardens. From the initial first meeting to our wedding day, we truly had the best day imaginable. We cant thank the wedding planner and team enough for what they did for us. We are beyond grateful for everything. Mr & Mrs Thompson

The White Horse was the perfect location for our wedding. A lovely country pub which provided us with all that we wanted for a small family occasion. The food was of top quality and the nothing was too much trouble with flexibility all the way. Plenty of room for an evening party in the main bar with a band. My husband and I got married at Waterside Country Barn in June 2023. It’s hard to put into words just how magical our day was because of this beautiful venue and the amazing team that run it. Its location is gorgeous and feels very remote, when in reality it’s easy taxi distance to Wellington or Taunton for your guests. The gorgeous barn and lake give ample opportunities for ceremony and reception options. We had our ceremony outside on a sunny day, and it was all we’d dreamed of, followed by a delicious Mediterranean BBQ feast in the barn, seated on long tables that my bridal party and I had loving decorated the day before. As one of the greatest joys of the venue is that you’re not on a wedding merry-go-round, one wedding in, another out with strict timings. No, you get the venue the day before and morning after your wedding, to decorate, spend time with friends and family and generally settle in. It’s lush! We wanted a relaxed, happy day with all of our friends and family and that’s precisely what we had. Now for Georgia and her team. Georgia is the owner/wedding co-ordinator at the venue and is loveliest person you’ll meet. She is so knowledgable about her venue and how you can get the most out of it. Which is easily done, as we had 4/5 planning sessions in the run up to our wedding with Georgia at the venue, which was so useful for me. I know some venues only offer 1, and some none at all. But by having so many sessions we got to know Georgia so well and venue, that by the time it came to our day it felt so familiar and we were so comfortable there. Georgia and the venue offer so much flexibility with their options that you can truly make your day yours. From table layouts, welcome drinks options, food options, evening entertainment, ceremony decoration and everything in between, can all be tailored to precisely how you want it. Georgia and her fab team will then take amazing care of you on the day itself and ensure that everything goes off without a hitch, and if there is one - they’ll fix it for you! We had such a special day because of Georgia and her team and how ease they made us feel. I truly can’t say enough great things about them.
