We held my daughter’s wedding on Friday 13th September and it was a day to remember and perfect in every way. Soughton Hall is an outstanding venue which we had all to ourselves. The staff are the stars of the show and led by the wonderful Cheryl. The level of professionalism is astounding but the friendliness of every member of staff just made the day. Erin our wedding coordinator was unbelievable at her job, from start to finish she was on hand to make it a day to remember. The quality of the end product be it the food and drinks to the small touches that you don’t hear about made this a day we will never forget. I cannot praise everyone highly enough and thank them from the bottom of my heart for making this a perfect day!

They delivered on every point and we can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough. Don’t look any further if you want a day to remember without stress and filled with happiness, care and quality: 10/10

We held our wedding just before Christmas, the hall was beautifully decorated and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
We would not hesitate to recommend the venue. Small details were taken care of and every request was taken care of.

This is THE venue to book for your wedding... whether an indoor cermeony in the stunning upstairs drawing room, a relaxed ceremony at the Coach House or an outdoor celebration in the stunning gardens - . it is AMAZING. The specialist team leave nothing to chance, running each event calmly, timely and in a relaxed but efficient manner. As a professional photographer for over 25 years, this venue is in my top 3... and shall remain so - I cannot recommend highly enough!

We had the best experience having our wedding at Soughton Hall. The staff were friendly and approachable and always happy to help. On the lead up to the wedding, they were always an email/phone call away to answer any questions and our wedding coordinator Rachel really looked after us. On the day, the staff couldn’t do enough to make sure everything went smoothly and really made the wedding for us both. The venue is utterly stunning and we do it all again at Soughton in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding at the Coach House at Soughton hall and it was just perfect! Aside from our own biases with it being our wedding, the team at the coach house truly did go above and beyond for us, both before and on the wedding day! Jen in particular was so helpful in sorting everything- nothing was ever too much and she made us feel so confident ahead of the wedding so we were stress free!!

Myself and my husband held our wedding on Good Friday at Soughton Hall after booking with a coordinator in January 2023.

When we first visited on one the open days we fell in love with the venue instantly. It was our top choice of venue due to location and size. Best way to describe Soughton Hall is Downton Abbey meets classic modern British interior. Soughton itself was beautifully presented, spacious, homely and elegant. The main hall was spectacular and the accommodation was incredible. The garden room was a blank canvas which allowed us a lot of creative freedom. The staff couldn’t go above anymore and were able to answer all of our initial enquiries.

Once we had decided that Soughton was our venue things were great from the get go. The communication from the venue was timely and professional and key dates (tasting menu, final details), were managed perfectly.

Once we met our coordinator Erin, me and my husband knew we were in safe hands. With a wealth of knowledge and experience we felt we could trust Erin implicitly. We clicked instantly and felt reassured. Unfortunately for us, we had a very tricky run-up to our big day and things got stressful - but Erin couldn’t have supported us more and did literally EVERYTHING possible to help us. Without Erin, our big day wouldn’t have happened the way it did, we are forever grateful.

On the day, things went so smoothly (minus some timing issues - bank holiday traffic), but the whole venue managed this without little disruption and without us paying too much attention to it. The rooms were set up amazingly and most things were exactly what we had envisaged from day one of planning. The whole day went off without any problems.

From the tasting menu to the evening buffet the food was Devine! We loved everything and our guests were so impressed! We can’t wait to hopefully return for more!

We drew the evening to a close a very, very happy newest married couple.

Getting married at Soughton was everything we could have asked for. The service, the food, and most importantly the staff is what makes Soughton Hall a top wedding venue. 10/10! Our only regret is that we can’t do it all over again!

Simply a 5 star experience from start to finish. The Soughton team are absolutely brilliant. From initial consultation through to the wedding day they guided us expertly and took away all of the stress and worry planning a wedding brings. On the day itself they were even more brilliant, choreographing the day to our exact details and making sure everything went as planned.

We made full use of the whole estate, with the bridal party staying in the lodge the night before, wedding in the coach house and then staying in the main hall with our friends and family. The food was exquisite, from the wedding breakfast through to the breakfast the morning after.

Every detail of the venue is stunning. Thank you Soughton Hall for helping us create our dream wedding we will never forget.

From the very first meeting, to leaving (with a headache) post-wedding, Soughton Hall have been amazing every step of the way. We had to move our date four times, and they were very accommodating, plus went above and beyond to hold dates provisionally until we could confirm with other suppliers.

On the day itself, our team (Stephen, Naomi, Cheryl and Lily) were there for us every step of the way. I was concerned about timings, plans etc, and they made it so that I didn't even have to think, just enjoy my wedding day. The whole team at Soughton felt like additional guests, and made the day for both of us. I'm so happy we decided on Soughton, and have also recommended to engaged friends. The service, the food, the gorgeous venue - absolutely perfect in every way (and at a very reasonable price).

We had attended a wedding at Soughton Hall last summer and when we decided to get married with seven weeks notice we thought it was the perfect location for our wedding on 18th November 2017.
The hall is a magnificent setting for a wedding with spectacular grounds and a Hall steeped in history and elegance. The pre-event support was excellent and given the very short notice they staff were superb in their planning. Come the weekend Amy, Lauren and all of staff contributed to an occasion that we will never forget.
The morning started with a bride, six bridesmaids and an entourage of hairdressers and make-up artists all accommodated in a beautiful dressing room. Pampered throughout the morning.
The ceremony was held in an elegant state room, the post ceremony reception was in the stunning main drawing room and library; and the wedding breakfast and evening function were in the stunning marquee, decked in its finery. Everything that we wanted was delivered in style and with exacting attention to every detail – nothing was too much trouble and they really looked after our every need.
The food in our bespoke menu was amazing and loved by all the guests, even the exacting dietary requirement of some of our guests were met by the chef and his team.
The hotel rooms were luxurious, there was an elegant champagne turndown in the bridal suite and the breakfast the next morning was second to none. Everyone stayed at the hall into the Sunday afternoon to experience the hall some more and explore the grounds.
The guests all said that the service from the staff was exemplary and the hospitality shown to our guests reflected wonderfully on the hotel and on us. We would recommend this wedding venue to everyone.

We can honestly say it was fantastic! From planning beforehand and on the day itself. You all ran it so well and smoothly. The venue was perfect, food amazing (everyone raved about the steak pie especially) and the rooms were lovely. All the staff were polite and couldn't have helped more. All in all, we loved it. Can't thank you enough Annie for all your hard work, patience and attention to detail.
