South Farm provided the most magical experience for our wedding. My husband and I loved that it felt like a beautiful rustic home hosting our wedding, not a corporate event space.

This feel is reinforced by the friendly and accommodating team at South Farm. Everyone we encountered was so nice and would go out of their way to be helpful, from the event managers through to the kitchen staff and gardeners. They ensured the whole day ran seamlessly and was as stress free as possible. We are also incredibly grateful they found a way for our dogs to stay for the whole wedding unlike other venues that claimed to be dog friendly, but in fact only allowed dogs for a short photo window and wouldn’t even countenance any flexibility.

Another reason we chose South Farm was the range of wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces that were all exclusively ours for the day. It meant we could rest easy that even if the weather wasn’t on our side the Old Dairy would still provide a charming indoor ceremony option (which it ended up being thanks to the British weather). It also meant there was minimal room turnaround faff disrupting the flow of the day unlike some venues where there really is only one room doing the heavy lifting, so to speak, for all parts of a wedding day. (The gorgeous Tudor Barn with its fairy light ceiling was an atmospheric setting for dinner and evening mingling, while the adjoining Horse Barn with its glass floor and lighting was perfect for dancing to the band, meanwhile my husband and I loved the cute library which was a lovely backdrop for photos.)

Another aspect of South Farm that deserves a special shout out is the food! It was amazing and we had so many guests praise the food and say it was the best they have ever had at a wedding.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. All of the staff and our Event Manager on the day went above and beyond to make our day run seamlessly. The food was delicious and really impressed our guests as did the stunning venue and grounds which are immaculately kept by the South Farm team.
The team at South Farm made planning the wedding so much easier for us with excellent supplier recommendations, incredible attention to detail and so much support in the build up. We couldn’t have done it without them!

There are not enough words to describe how much we love South Farm and its team. After having looked around many different venues, looking around South Farm could not have stood out more. The whole place feels like a home that welcomes you with open arms. Every team member is kind, attentive, personable, supportive and caring. A special shout out has to go to Michelle, who was our Wedding manager on the day as well as in the lead up. She is just wonderful and even though she does this every day for a living, she made us feel like we were her best friends getting married. The food and the venue are fighting to be as sustainable as possible which was incredibly important to us, but they also are so passionate about making their couples and guests feel supported, welcome and loved. They even run events where couples who got married here can come back and enjoy being back, which just shows how much thought they put into making couples happy even after their big day is done. Their gardens are stunning, the guest rooms and event spaces are cozy, clean, elegant and bright, their food exceeds every expectation. They ran an absolutely magnificent day and we will be forever grateful to them. We love you!

From the moment we stepped foot in South Farm on our first visit, two years ago, we knew it was the venue for us. Everyone is so unbelievably friendly, the grounds are absolutely beautiful and the main house is just perfect.

Throughout the planning process, all of our questions and queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were always made to feel like our day was important, despite the team managing up to six weddings per week. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. We also had an unbelievable experience at the food tasting evening. Although, everything was so delicious that it was almost even harder to choose our menu for the day!

On the day, Helen was our event manager and she put us at ease from the moment we arrived. We did have high expectations of our day but she went above and beyond anything we could have imagined to make our day ran smoothly. She is such an amazing person and was much like a fairy godmother to us! Helen’s attitude was reflected in all the staff we came across. Every single person, from the bar staff to house keeping, and waiters and waitresses to the owner of the venue, were absolutely fabulous. Everyone played a role in making the day so faultless.

We would also like to give a special mention to Evie, who conducted our final planning meeting and played a key role in updating all of our documents between then and the big day. Evie was so kind, knowledgable and organised and made the process really easy for us.

All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had and many said it was the best wedding they had been to. We had lots of guests with various dietary requirements and these were managed carefully which was really reassuring for us and our guests.

There aren’t enough words to truly describe our gratitude to everyone at South Farm. We really can’t thank you all enough for the best and most special day of our lives. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the venue to other couples and really can’t wait to come back and visit at one of your events one day soon.

From our initial meeting with Becky, to the food tasting experience and planning meeting with Helen (and various correspondence with the team), the customer service was the best we have experienced. All our queries were answered so quickly, and the team were so accommodating too. We had the most amazing wedding day at South Farm earlier this month! From start to finish the whole team helped make the planning process so much easier and were always quick to respond to any queries with helpful suggestions.

On the day, everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly, and it was so lovely for us to not have to think about the running of the day and be able to focus on enjoying ourselves! Hayley our event manager was brilliant: she was so calm and collected, proactive and organised, and also so kind and helpful to us and our guests.

We also really appreciated the small touches, such as being saved our own plate of canapés during the drinks reception.
Having good food at our wedding was really important to us, and all our guests said the food was brilliant, some said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had!

I want to thank everyone at South Farm for making our wedding day everything I dreamed of. Nothing was too much trouble, and the attentive staff made the day run smoothly with no problems. I loved every part of the day.
South Farm is a beautiful place absolutely stunning, we have received so many compliments from our guests. Lots of "the best wedding ive been too". We were really lucky to be the first outdoor wedding of this year, I just cant believe how the sun shone for us.
Michelle, our wedding coordinator for the day was absolutely fantastic. It's nice when you get someone to look after you who gels with you and your wedding party. I wish I could do it all again!

We had our wedding here and could not have been happier. From the moment we stepped foot on the farm for our viewing, we had that special feeling. Seeing it in person is so different from photos. We actually cried once we left! The staff are second-to-none and go above and beyond. Even after our showaround they gave us a bag of their fresh produce! There are so many personal touches in everything they do!

In the lead up to the big day, they were so communicative and happy to answer any questions. We felt at ease and so well taken care of.

On the day itself our event manager Michelle was a total star and just thought of absolutely EVERYTHING to make the day run smoothly and make sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating and our guests had the best time. As did we of course!! Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Michelle and the team and we had the wedding of our dreams. Guests loved how gorgeous the venue was (we got the outside ceremony of our dreams!), from the gardens to the barns to the accommodation. It was all just picture-perfect.

Also: THE FOOD. Everyone loved it. Said it was the best wedding food they'd had (we went for the antipasti, followed by the barbecue buffet. Evening food was the noodle bar which was SUCH a hit. Guests went mad for it).

I can't tell you how many special little touches there were to make sure things went well and guests were taken care of. Even things we hadn't thought of, South Farm did, so we never had to worry!

Honestly we couldn't have asked for more. This is a stunning venue with a great team and has everything you could ever dream of! So many people said it was the best wedding they'd been to. And maybe we're bias, but we agree ;)

We received countless compliments from our guests, with some declaring it the best wedding food they've ever tasted. Considering we've got a few fussy eaters in our family – not a single complaint was heard!

South Farm has etched itself forever in our hearts, thanks to the collective efforts of every staff member involved in making our day perfect. From the warm greetings from the housekeeping team when I first arrived, to the attentive care throughout the day, everyone at South Farm went above and beyond to ensure not only our happiness but also that of our families, friends, and suppliers.

Oh, oh oh, where do I start? South Farm demonstrated nothing short of the utmost passion and professionalism for making our day absolutely magical. All our guests raved about the venue and the quality of the food, and having the whole place exclusively to ourselves made it all the more special. The day ran so smoothly from start to finish. Summer our event manager was attentive yet discreet. The correspondence and guidance from the whole team was really helpful and no question was so silly. Michelle, Evie and Summer were so accommodating with our requests and all the last minute changes to the planner and their help really took the stress out of planning the whole day.

We cannot even begin to describe how perfect our experience at South Farm was. All we have heard from family and friends since was hoe amazing the venue was! From start to finish, the staff at South Farm were warm, welcoming, responsive and extremely helpful. The food was exceptional and 70% is grown on the farm itself! Having the entire venue to ourselves allowed us and our guests to spend the day exploring and enjoying a quiet moment, as well as having gorgeous buildings and surroundings in which to mingle. Every area of South Farm is just beautiful and we count ourselves exceptionally lucky to be among those who have got married at this phenomenal venue.
