South Stoke Barn wedding venue is located in the picturesque hamlet of South Stoke near the town of Arundel in West Sussex. From April to September, this 19th-century Granary barn takes centre stage, allowing you to create the bespoke day of your dreams.
Facilities and Capacity
With breathtaking views of the South Downs, the barn has an open-fronted area at ground level, ideal for romantic ceremonies or drinks receptions, and a first-floor beamed space for dining. You and your beloved can decorate the barn however you would like for your magical wedding reception, adding your personal touch to this historic venue. Your chosen caterers are welcome to deliver and set up your banquet meal at the barn. There is also plenty of space for a live band or DJ to get you and your guests out on the dance floor. The ample parking surrounding the property means you get all the fun of a farmyard wedding without the hassle of difficult access!

Perfect Blank Canvas
The most perfect countryside venue
It is the perfect blank canvas to do what you want with and make into a really personal day.
All of our guests complimented the venue and how wonderful the day was. I couldn’t recommend more and we love that we can keep coming back for beautiful walks around South Stoke whenever we want.
The perfect countryside venue with stunning views
Ryan and Tanya were so helpful in the lead up with planning and responsiveness, as well as excellent recommendations for local suppliers (though you have free reign to pick your own if preferred), and Ryan was on hand throughout the day to help keep everything running smoothly and on time; helping the suppliers, keeping us calm and helping turn over the space from dining room to dancefloor!
The views from the barn are spectacular and the setting is so peaceful in it's rural location- we even had a few cows peeking over the wall during our speeches!
We had a lot of rain on our day, but the combination of the open undercroft space (which we had decorated by a fab local supplier, Pots and Posies, with soft furnishings/seating and tables) and the main barn above where we ate, drank and danced, gave guests the perfect blend of spaces and meant we could continue as planned.
The setting for our family and couple photoshoot in the surrounding fields was just wonderful, it was the most perfect countryside backdrop and exactly the vibe we wanted.
We have amazing memories of our special day, and so thankful we picked the beautiful South Stoke Barn, I can't recommend it highly enough.
