Southlands Barn is a wedding venue on the outskirts of the village of West Chiltington in West Sussex. Set amidst 120 acres of picturesque farmland and overlooking the South Downs National Park, this charming 17th-century barn is the perfect setting for the celebration of a lifetime.

Facilities and Capacity

Southlands Barn is more than a venue; it's an experience. Here, you'll find a beautiful lake, lush green grass, and flowers in every colour. The property offers a choice of indoor and outdoor event spaces, including the pergola ceremony area, the 17th-century Sussex Barn, and the recently converted Cattle Barn dining hall. The stunning Sussex Barn was originally a cattle-holding barn. Today, it features an integrated sound system, hand-cut bottle chandeliers, fairy lights, and a magical ambience, perfect for intimate ceremonies and receptions. The Cattle Barn was formerly a holding barn for carving cattle. Its bifold doors open onto a beautiful courtyard. You'll also find a bar area, toilets, shower facilities, and a games room with a pool table. Southlands Barn provides seating for up to 150 guests and can accommodate up to 170 dinner and evening guests.

Services Offered

Southlands Barn is available for exclusive hire. They offer two-day midweek and three-day weekend packages. The venue fees include chivari chairs, round tables, linens, lighting and decor, a prepping parlour that can accommodate up to eight guests, and a free wine-tasting evening for you and four guests.
