With a number of flexible event spaces on offer, St Ermin's Hotel can cater to large and small weddings. The Crystal Ballroom is a feast for the eyes featuring magnificent high ceilings supported by gorgeous Greek pillars, a luxuriously carpeted floor, and elegant decor. The room also boasts two levels which gives it the flexibility to host weddings with up to 200 guests. Meanwhile, The Cloisters Suite can host parties with up to 120 attendees and features an intricately carved vaulted ceiling, beautiful chandeliers, and warm lighting, which creates a cosy ambience perfect for a relaxing evening with friends and family. Elsewhere, the Crystal Mezzanine can host up to 80 people and is ideal for wedding ceremonies. This room also features a two-tiered design with Greek columns supporting a high ceiling and fabulous crystal chandeliers, giving it a serene vibe perfect for exchanging vows. St Ernin's also boasts a comfortable and luxurious bridal room where the newlyweds-to-be can prepare.

Best Day of Our Lives Made So Seamless!

The quality of service and attention to detail at St. Ermin's are unmatched. Our coordinator, Claret, was amazing to us throughout the whole wedding planning process! The meetings at St.Ermin’s were always so lovely and comfortable. Claret and all of the staff were very warm in welcoming us each time, and kindly and enthusiastically kept us on schedule with each task and decision. She would walk us through the hotel spaces during each visit to confirm various design ideas and make suggestions based on how we were feeling. My side of the family is in the US and she was very patient with the calls and questions from our family members whenever they needed. The response over the phone and email was incredible so we were never very stressed because we knew how quick Claret and the team would be in the response and action to any questions, concerns, requests, or changes. She communicated with our vendors and took a lot of the pressure off of us to coordinate the many people and details that were involved in creating our beautiful day!

The menu tasting was such an amazing experience. The chef and staff at St. Ermin’s made sure we had the exact setup and presentation to expect on our big day. It was so delicious and the chef sat with us to discuss flavours and any potential adjustments we wanted for each dish. The food itself was SO stunning. We tried three examples of each course and struggled to decide because of how delicious every option was! Our family and friends are still raving about the food, drinks, and service!

The actual day was the best of our lives so far. Upon arrival, we were shown the our meeting rooms we used to get ready. They provided each of our parties with food, tea, coffee, and water. We got to choose the details ahead of time. Afternoon tea sandwiches and parties were the perfect thing to have as they were delicious and filling without being too heavy or messy. The staff checked in on us continuously to make sure we had everything we needed and everyone was happy and comfortable getting ready stress-free! I wandered down to our reception ballrooms to see how everything looked and Satya, who had worked with us on details, made sure every little thing was to my liking in that moment. I was so blown away by how gorgeous it was, truly a dream come true. The dinner service was unlike anything we have ever experienced. Our glasses were always full and every guest was served so quickly due to the guest-to-staff ratio. All of our guests were so impressed and we had such a nice time and did not worry about one thing or person all night. Claret, Satya, and Graham stood by all day and night to make sure everything went according to plan, even helping me plan an extra birthday surprise for my husband, the groom, at midnight - which was so fun!

So many friends and family members came up to us saying how it was the best wedding they had ever attended and although we’re biased…we have to agree! I cannot recommend the venue enough with its gorgeous spaces, stunning food, and the best people you'll ever have the privilege of working with! We are already reminiscing, reliving it through pictures, stories, and music. We have now made St. Ermin’s our special occasion and anniversary destination. Thank you so so much, we will be daydreaming about our day for the rest of our lives!

Our dream wedding!

We would love to thank all the staff at the St Ermin's hotel for making our dream wedding a reality! The venue was perfect and looked stunning, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hospitality shown to us by Graham and Tom was fantastic and their attention to detail was amazing, they really helped make our day special and we are very grateful to them!

Great experience

The venue is even better in person and it was a great experience overall. The food was excellent, much better than your average wedding food.

Winter wedding

Great value for money. Beautiful and very clean venue. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Good quality food and beautiful quiet location tucked away in central London.

Wedding party - September 2024

What a fabulous evening we had. it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. All the staff we met were briefed and amazing, the service was five star and served by a great team.
Chef did an amazing job - we received so many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food.
The management from Claret and the team was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.
The venue was great for pre-party drinks, the main ball room and the side room for the band.

Amazing staff and service and a beautiful venue

I would wholeheartedly and with no hesitation recommend St Ermin’s to host your wedding, everything and everyone was so nice!

Service - Our wedding day went perfectly at St Ermin's and that was due to how amazingly helpful and well organised the team were. The service provided on every step of the journey was absolutely impeccable, from the initial viewing, the meetings to plan the event, and finally the wedding event itself, I have nothing but praise. A special nod to Claret who was such a superstar, thank you so much!

Venue - The venue itself has many beautiful areas to use as a backdrop for photos such as the foliage line road to the main entrance and the grand stairway, and if they don’t suffice you are only a few minutes’ walk from St James’ Park (make sure you apply for a wedding photo license). While the crystal ballroom and mezzanine were stunning areas to host the ceremony and wedding breakfast.

Food - Speaking of wedding breakfast, the food provided for the meal was amazing, many of our guests gave tremendous feedback for the meal. The food is so good that we will be back just to visit the restaurant. Our advice, make sure you try the white chocolate mousse with apple compote for the dessert.

Dream venue

Venue - very characterful hotel. 4* but with a cosy feel (unlike neighbouring hotels that are more recent). A ton of history and other lovely features such as the beehives (3rd floor). Beautiful features from the outdoor courtyard with its greenery, the outdoor seating area to enjoy the peace out of the weather, to the beautiful interior settings.

Price - astounded to discover that the package quoted was not the most expensive of London hotels. For the quality of the wedding it is good value for money and about what I would expect for a central London 4* hotel.

Food and drink - absolutely amazing. We had not just the wedding breakfast but also a dinner the night before (and chose to have an afternoon tea there the weekend before). Everybody at each meal loved the quality of the menu.

Service - perfect. Wedding organiser was reliable and always pleasant. The whole team of staff were top of their game. We had excellent feedback from some of our guests who were coming from a distance and needed help with booking rooms and travel advice.

The feedback we have had from guests on the day has been tremendous and all 100% positive.

PS Special mention for the hotel's accessibility policy. We had 2 guests in wheelchairs and a number who had other mobility difficulties and arrangements were already in place to enable them all to participate as fully as possible in the event.

Just amazing!

The wedding co-ordinator was an absolute miracle worker. Took all of the pain out of the arrangements and was able to give us some great ideas of how the day could run.
The building is breathtaking! It really has the wow factor when you arrive and it just gets better when you get to the ballroom, all of our guests were talking about it for months after. The main staircase is perfect for photographs, especially the all important group photo.
The various rooms allow you to be flexible depending on the number of guests and can open up when the evening people arrive. Drinks reception on the balcony was spectacular and gave our guests a peak at the wonder that was the ballroom before we used the space later in the night.
The food was wonderful and they were able to cater for all requirements and we were able to discuss what we offered with the chef.
The location is amazing and it allowed a lot of our guests to travel home, but we also got a reduced rate for people that did want to stay over.
We originally booked for 2020 and the dreaded pandemic hit, we ended up moving the date 3 times and the team could not have been more supportive and flexible during one of the most stressful times of my life! They suggested new dates and kept me up to date on the evolving situation with no additional charges or penalties. There were a lot of horror stories at the time from people losing deposits, etc, but I could not have asked for better customer service.
I would really recommend you having a visit and seeing how amazing this place is :)
