Facilities and Capacity
St Ethelburga's offers two main spaces that you can transform into your romantic setting. Our main indoor option is the Nave, which can host standing receptions of up to 150 or seated ceremonies of up to 85 guests. This unique setting will surround you and your loved ones with a blend of the old and new, from the modern glass and white walls to the original 14th-century arches. A detailed, stained-glass window can serve as a memorable backdrop as you exchange your vows. Adjacent to the Nave is the annexe, which along with our kitchen is a space which can be used for serving food and refreshments. For a more intimate, boho-chic aesthetic, we can also offer our Bedouin Tent, a 16-sided structure nestled in the centre of our Courtyard garden. Cushioned bench seating is featured inside and can seat up to 30 people at a time. The venue has wheelchair facilities, ensuring that everyone arrives at your celebration with ease.
Services Offered
St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace offers exclusive use of either of our event spaces, or for larger gatherings both spaces may be booked giving couples the freedom to make the most of your special day. A dance floor, sound system, and HD laser projector are present in-house and can transform the venue into a party-ready celebration. As a pet-friendly venue, you will be welcome to incorporate your four-legged friends into your big day.
