About
Nestled in the most stunning corner of the UK, the Stanway estate lies in the heart of the Cotswolds.
This is a truly beautiful example of a Jacobean manor house constructed with Guiting Yellow stone and Jacobean mullions and gables. The glory of Stanway has to be the water garden with its single-jet fountain, originally suggested by Paul Edwards, the landscape architect, and engineered by David Bracey. The fountain rises magnificently to over 300 feet, making it the tallest fountain in Britain. When you combine the historical grandeur, epic water gardens, extensive specimen tree avenues, woods and parklands Stanway House creates the most magical wedding venue.
Receptions are held in the Tithe Barn; a stunning, stone, medieval building, with a stage fit for a concert!
With full production services all included, the Tithe Barn can be transformed to create the most memorable wedding that reflects your own unique style.
For those seeking a traditional church wedding, Stanway has a church within its grounds, and following the service the wedding party walks through the magnificent jewel-like gatehouse leading to the manor and Tithe Barn.
This wedding venue is yours, exclusively, as we only host a handful of weddings per year to enable us to work closely with you. We tailor every element of the event, from the style of the furniture, the decor of the barn, to the food served throughout your day.
