Stately Home Wedding Venues in Dorset

Warmwell house is the most stunning venue for a wedding. We loved the combination of feeling we were in such a beautiful and grand setting but with great warmth. Sam and Serena were wonderful hosts with no problem too big or small to help solve! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

We had the most magical weekend at Minterne. The venue itself is spectacular and you will struggle to find anywhere half as magical but the whole team made the day so amazing. We were all so well looked after and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

We had our whole wedding and reception at Tyrrells Ford. I could not have asked for more. From day one of seeking the right venue for us, the staff were more than accomodating. Sara and Mark (the owners) listened to all of our requests (and there were quite a few!) and pulled out all the stops on the day. Even our most "particular" of guests commented on how lovely the hotel and staff were. Everything flowed just as we'd asked. All of the staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. The chef provided an outstanding level of home cooked food which was just simply delicious!The accomodation was warm and homely. We know that because our guests took over every room in the hotel!!! Breakfast together the next day was even still special with the utmost care and professionalism demonstrated at all times. Thank you so much to Sara and Mark and their team for making our day so special (which just happened to fall on their wedding anniversary too!) We'll definately be going back soon for some more of that very yummy food!!!

We held our wedding reception at Canford School in May 2001. There is a choice of rooms in which to eat or hold civil wedding ceremonies. The rooms and grounds are beautiful (gardens, fountain, by the river)and you are the only people on site all day. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accomodating from our initial meeting through to after the reception. The venue is very popular and gets very booked up as weddings/receptions can understandably not be held during term time. We could not have wished for a better venue and would thoroughly recommend it.

My sister held her afternoon and evening reception here last November. A huge hall with 7ft by 9ft fireplaces at either side warm your entrance and gracefully take you into a number of reception rooms with ornate ceilings and numerous french doors leading on to a laid lawn and river. Excellent amenities for the disabled, coupled with well decorated rooms make this a very desirable venue
