From the moment we viewed Penshurst Place, we knew it was a top contender for our dream day. We loved the history, and character of the building and felt like it was a real talking point for our guests too. When it came down to the final choice, it was the banqueting and events team at Penshurst Place that sealed the deal for us. They were so accommodating, informative and quick to respond - which was just what we needed as we ended up planning our wedding during the covid restrictions. It was so nice to have the team throughout and on our day too to keep everything in running order. We had our dream day just how we had imagined it and the photos speak for themselves.

Our wedding at Goodnestone Park was more than I ever could have dreamed of. The venue is THE most stunning venue for a summer wedding, the gardens are immaculate and the new orangery is something so unique and special. The on site planners, the wedding dolls made the day run so smoothly and stress free, and Ronnie's (House manager) hospitality was second to none. Our day turned from a potential disaster, A&E the night before with Emma’s mother breaking her arm, two hours sleep and all planned preparations out the window into an unmitigated triumph. And we have Gosia to thank for her calm and patience (a forty five minute late start), and Mount Ephraim to thank for being a stunning venue. A stock phrase I know when I hear someone say, ‘it was the best day of our lives’ but it truly and quite literally was. A few weeks later we became quite glum because we wanted to go back and do it all again. Not the broken arm and all night in Margate hospital but the bit when the band kicked off and our procession made its way down from the house, through the stunning grounds to our waiting guests in the glorious sunshine. Someone was on our side! Not even Gosia can command the weather, though if it had rained the two places they have in the house are fantastic too. I still get emotional when I think about the day, it’s a memory for life. Also we can return every year and stay in their beautiful rooms, eat their wonderful breakfast and stand at the exact place we got married and relive the day. Thank you for everything Gosia and Mount Ephraim.

We had the most amazing wedding at eastwell manor in 2012. We got married in the manor as our wedding was in November then we had the reception just along the corridor in the rose garden room. We stayed in a suite which has another bedroom inside for bridesmaids or children to stay. What is really wonderful about this venue is that your guests can stay in the cottages inside the manors grounds which are a reasonable price. The location, grounds and staff were so great! Maureen the florist has become a friend for life and we could not ask for a better day!! X
