Had a wonderful time at Moreton House for our wedding and the stay over the weekend, they were all so accommodating for everyone and easy to work with in regards to the lead up to the wedding. There was a wide range of options that allowed us to work together to make our day run so smoothly and for us to use our own caterers and photographer. We were able to use each of the rooms that we needed for our day making plenty of space for our guests to freely mingle, dance or enjoy the evening outside by the fire pit. A true value for money as all the guest rooms including ours were absolutely stunning and all our guests and the wedding party said how lovely they were. Highly recommend as they were so easy to work with and helped us with every step of the way and guided us when we needed assistance in things like the table layouts and how to use each room to our advantage,

We had the most amazing wedding at Escot in May 2015. Because it's a family-run business, the whole experience of organising and holding the wedding there felt very personal, and Lucy was happy to respond to little requests we had to make the place really feel like ours, such as putting the American and British flags up the flagpole, and the team set up the rooms and tables wonderfully. The food was fantastic and really exceeded our expectations (self-confessed foodies!) - the canapes in particular were delicious and beautifully presented, and so many people said the cheeseboard was the best they've ever seen! The house itself was the perfect venue - enough space for people to explore, but small enough to keep everyone together and mingling. The weather on our wedding day was terrible, but it didn't matter at all because the inside of the house is lovely (especially impressive for the Americans, who thought they were in a Jane Austen novel). Both Jo and Lucy were really helpful and no-nonsense in the run up, and struck the right balance of responding to the type of day we wanted, with their own experience of running weddings. We want to thank the whole team for their hard work and help - it really is incredible value for money as a venue.

On Saturday I had the honour of being the first photographer to shoot the first ever wedding at the breathtaking Rockbeare Manor. I can honestly say this is the most stunning venue I have worked at in the Exeter area. Just being there is a privilege, the building and the grounds really do make you feel like you have stepped back in time. Step foot inside and you are instantly taken aback by the interiors and decor. Contemporary, clean cut yet features which stay true to its rich history. Being the photographer, I am able to take a step back and watch the day unfold. Aimee and the team at Rockbeare were faultless, nothing was too much trouble while running a very tight ship. The place is immaculate, the service personal and attentive, the food AMAZING! If you are planning your wedding and this suits your style I urge you to take a look. My husband and I were married at Pynes House in August of 2013 and we cannot say enough about how incredibly happy we are with our experience there. Everything about the venue exceeded our expectations. Pynes House is like stepping back in time into a Jane Austen novel with all the amenities of a modern five star resort. We were able to choose our own caterer, florist, band and marquee hire in order to customize our wedding day and make it the day of our dreams. As soon as you step onto the property, you feel as if you have stepped into a fairytale. The staff is incredibly helpful and caters to all your needs while the accommodations are that of a five star resort. Our closest guests were able to stay on the property with us and the rest were shuttled from hotels in the city for the wedding day all with great help from the staff. The entire day went so smoothly and we are still told by guests that it was the most wonderful wedding they had ever experienced. If you want your wedding day to be a real life fairy tale, choose Pynes House! We couldn't be happier

Thank you very much for hosting our wedding on 20th April. We had a wonderful day, which we will remember for the rest of our lives. The venue was fantastic and everyone thought the wedding breakfast was excellent.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful wedding weekend, we had a truly magical time. I do'nt think we could have found a better venue in the whole length and breadth of the UK. You and your staff were so gracious with your hospitality and allowed us to live the life of gentry for the entire weekend. All our friends and family think we look great in the photographs, but I know it is all down to the splendid backdrop of KIngston House.
